Fantastic location. Easy walk from the station and close to the old town and beaches. Fantastic breakfast in a lovely setting. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Clean comfortable room with a small balcony, coffee machine with a good (and frequently replenished) supply of pods, including decaf.and tea bags.

There's no lift because it's a lovely historic building and they're absolutely up front about this so not so much a don't like as a heads up. They will happily carry your luggage up and down for you but if up to three flights of a spiral staircase is going to cause you a problem each time you go out or come back ask them for a first floor room when you book or choose somewhere else that does have a lift. We were on the top floor and, yes, it was a bit of a facer every time but we would absolutely stay again.

A lovely hotel of the old French school with a very helpful and professional staff. We arrived late in the evening after having an issue with a scandalously unavailable host in a rented apartment. It was such a pleasant change to find a proper hospitality! We will be coming back.

The shower was partially plugged, and the heater in the bathroom did not seem to work --- to be fair, we did not complain about it since we were too tired, they might have dealt with it quickly. Also, there is no elevator; not an issue for us, but those who care may want to try to book on the first floor.

Exceptionally clean, very comfortable room with good space. Food very tasty. Staff were very friendly, coped with our bad French and could all speak English when we struggled. Location is right in the heart of the town, but no issues with noise at all. Shops and restauants are just moments away. Les Remparts, the sea front of the town, is now pedestrianised and very well done. Easy travel along coast to Nice and Cannes via TER trains. Loved this stay, will definately return.

A lift would be nice, but only because of the 23kg suitcases going up. Otherwise, no downsides to this hotel.

The hotel was well situated near the main attractions and walking distance to the train station. The breakfast was delicious with good variety. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Individuals with. Mobility issues should stay on the first floor as there is no elevator. Also note that it is near a busy square although it was not very loud at night.

The breakfast room is beautifully decorated but overlooks a parking lot. Would recommend greenery outside to help add charm and privacy.

We did enjoy our stay at La Place in June 2024. We booked our trip and accommodations only about a month in advance so hotel selection was limited. Pros: central, convenient to the more modern parts of Antibes and only a 5 min walk into old Antibes, clean, friendly and English-speaking staff, wifi worked well, double paned windows kept out most of the street noise, AC does work but we didn’t realize that until day 3 hahaha, our small balcony was cute and useable, TV worked but only local French channels, our room was ready about 2 hours early. Would not mind staying here again but room would be too small for more than 2 people.

THERE IS NO ELEVATOR and there are 4 floors so it’s important to know when booking (not sure if they have a way to accommodate for this). One very nit-picky thing is the hairdryer was missing the protective guard on the back so my hair was caught in it and i had to cut it out! Room was small but totally functional for our needs (we were out and about most of the day) and this small size of room is kind of expected from European hotels.

The hotel is in a great location. The stuff is friendly .

No parking but they use the bus stop to unload the bags. If you need parking for your car it is not close by and to get to it is tricky. No elevator (but they mention this). The biggest disappointment was that the breakfast was not included. When we book vacation other properties when they list stuff they always say (for the extra charge) they did not do that .

The hotel is an a very convenient position on the edge of old town and a short walk to the centre or Port Vauban The room was an adequate size and with a balcony. Breakfast had both hot and cold choices. Staff are excellent being friendly and very helpful. We have stayed here before and will do again.

A lift would help but when on the first floor no real problem. Car parking can sometimes be difficult.

Breakfast was particularly good. Fresh fruit in individual pots...very fresh bread and range of youghourts. Location very accessible from station on foot and also central, making an immediate recreational and exploratory walk possible on arrival. Our request for a first floor room had been noted and was honoured.

The room , although very clean and suitably equipped, was rather small for two people.

Location: it was in a quiet street but very close to the tourist office and to the buses we needed for our excursions - great as we were new to Antibes and somewhat nervous about finding our way around. 8 minutes from the sea and 2 minutes from the sweet old town streets Room: it had everything we needed. Beds were really comfy - nespresso machine was a nice touch as was the iron and ironing board. Breakfast - so much choice and access to gluten free items much appreciated. The extra touches made you feel the hotel staff had really thought about the guests needs - apples in the bowls at each stair level to take away. Free access to beach umbrellas and beach mats. The waitress who remembered the kind of coffee I liked for breakfast. The general friendliness of al the staff.

It just has three stars which when we thought about all the facilities provided felt a bit low but I'm guessing this might relate to it being a little dated and worn in decor. The building also faces a small bus terminus which some may not like but we found it very quiet - there was a beautiful tree outside the front.....

Brilliant Breakfast lots of choice, Clean and welcoming, staff friendly and helpful. Did mention no fridge and Cecile (owner?) said put the wine in our fridge and also gave us bucket of ice when we collected it. Brilliant shower and very comfortable beds and pillows also iron and ironing board in room.

No fridge in room, and stairs to third floor was quite a slog. But advantage was room very quiet.
