loved the smoked bacon; had enough to eat till supper time; grew up on a small farm in northern Germany similar to this one and at 83 have gotten sentimental about that, if only because I don't have to clean the pigstall any longer! My daughter was completely infatuated by your baby dogs; convenient location for getting to Villa Romana (our main destination} Addition: My wife and daughter enjoyed being invited by Maria for coffee and conversation on her patio.

We had been touring Italy and Sicily on a motorbike for 2 weeks when we arrived, and for the price, it was just lacking a few things. The WiFi only worked in the restaurant, but not your room. No minifridge with complementary water, a lack of coat hangers in the room, little things like that. Nothing major really

The place is secluded and beautifully decorated. Apart from the abundant breakfast, Alessandro also cooked for us a lovely varied dinner with home grown vegetables and home made liqueur. He also invited us inside the kitchen to taste the fig jam he was preparing! Looking forward to the next one!

The location is stunning. Wonderful view. Breakfast was very good but dinner was even better. Alessandro is a professional chef that puts all his heart and love in the preparation of food made with ingredients straight from the farm. Do not eat anywhere else, or you'll miss the finest Sicilian home-cooking you could wish for. And the wine is of the same high standard. Reception by family members very welcoming. Proximity of Piazza Armenira and the Villa Romana with its exquisite mosaics make this B&B the ideal place to stay at. It helps if you speak a bit of Italian.

Perhaps the rooms are a bit old-fashioned.

Beautiful place, very clean and well maintained. Lots of beautiful rose bushes. The food cooked by chef Alessandro is delicious. Typical Sicilian dishes cooked to perfection. Breakfast was very good with a selection of savoury and sweet items. Staff was very helpful and always attended to our needs. Would love to return 😊

Rustic farmhouse vibe. Fabulous breakfast. Delicious home cooked dinner when available. A worthwhile climb up to the old town of Piazza Armerina.

It would have been great to have a small drink’s fridge and a range of toiletries such as shampoo, conditioner and body wash.

The place is among fruit trees, beautifull view around, peace and quiet, yet close to the city . comfortable and very nice breakfast, we liked the hospitality of jusepe and his wife

Nice place in the middle of nowhere with simple accommodation and great breakfast

We booked this place far out especially because of the restaurant the description promised, but there was none, so no dinner, only breakfast. When we arrived, there was no one around, it felt a bit forlorn.

Quiet and comfortable on a working farm.Lovely hosts and dogs , friendly and helpful and made us a very welcome meal and good breakfast. Easy reach of Piazza Armerina , nice walk up to the town and very easy for Villa Casale.

Off a very narrow road , but not insurmountable.

Location is very good to visit Villa Casale Romana and Piazza Armerinia and it was nice to stay out of town in grounds in a farm setting. Staff were welcoming and breakfast was plentiful with good selection. Room was very clean. Evening meal provided by them (for extra charge) was very tasty and service was relaxed and friendly. Because we don't have large appetites we only needed the antipasti course. This was different both nights and was locally grown vegetables prepared simply in several ways and a large cheese selection with water, wine and bread. Price for this was fair (20 euros each).

The air conditioning unit in our room was very noisy and this did disturb me overnight. The WiFi was not working whilst we were there (could connect to the network but it didn't have Internet). In fairness to the property, we did not raise these issues with them at the time as only minor issues for us and so they may have been able to resolve these. The town is within walking distance but we felt unable to walk from the property (drove instead) because there were several small but aggressive dogs loose on the road who lived at neighbouring properties.
