It is a beautiful place, I arrived just in time to watch the sunset and they offered me a welcome drink which was great and I enjoyed the wonderful views and the company of some sweet little cats. Afterwards I went to the room which was a typical wooden house, super spacious, tastefully decorated and clean. Has everything you need. Dinner at the restaurant was delicious. Located just a short ride from the airport. I highly recommend this place for your stay in Langkawi.

I was a bit disappointed with the breakfast. Just bread, jam & butter, fruit and one piece of cake. + coffee/tea, all do it yourself. Having such a nice restaurant I think it would be better to serve breakfast there. Or, if it is going to be in the room at least two sets of butter and jam would be appreciated. It is all sweet, it would have been nice to have a bit of cheese or eggs. Specially because of the price one pays for the night I think it is expected.

We stayed 5 nights and loved it, although this place may not be for everyone. We stayed in “Laguna” which we thought was the pick of the villas. First impressions really are that you are staying in an old Malay wooden house and they do look quite ramshackle from the outside. There are no glass windows, only shutters, and when we first arrived we thought we would be too hot and get eaten alive by mosquitos. However, each villa has fans and air conditioning, and in the evening we would close the shutters and put on the air conditioning, and by the time we went to bed the villa was very comfortable to the point we turned off the air conditioning and just used the ceiling fan. Mosquitos were simply NOT an issue. We just thought it was a wonderful experience staying in these fantastic old structures which have been brought from various parts of Malaysia, and we did find them very comfortable. The entire place is very peaceful and a great escape from the main beach area. The food in the restaurant is excellent, although expensive by Malaysian standards, and the restaurant itself is a lovely place to eat with its views over the lagoon. Quite popular also given the number of non residents who would turn up to dinner. The staff were lovely and looked after us really well. It is about a 15 minute walk to the main beach area.

We did think the breakfast, which is delivered to your room and put in the fridge each evening, could be a little more generous. It is quite basic.

Authentic kampung house, well equipped with what you need for a comfortable stay. Initially concerned about mosquitoes but that did not turn out to be an issue after all. I love the old style antique furniture - they don't build them like this anymore. Breakfast is adequate - system of leaving the food in the fridge for own preparation in the morning works well and is convenient, no need to rush for breakfast in the morning. Convenient location with several restaurants and the go-kart track just a few mins drive away, and a still short 10 min drive to the Cenang beach shopping and food area. It was also nice to have the shelter cats roaming around the compound. It's hard to find anything to complain about. If the old style, authentic kampung house stay is what you are looking for, this fits the bill perfectly.

Great resort with beautiful traditional Malay houses. Friendly staff. Great breakfast (in contrast to some other guests we liked it that the breakfast was brought on the evening before and stored in the fridge).

Close to airport (noise from planes). One can walk to Pantai Cenang but it is too far to do this every day. Grab etc. is recommended. Or just rent a car and explore the island on your own.

The villas are amazingly decorated and you have a really true experience of the Malaysian traditional houses. The food at the restaurant is outstanding. The garden is beautiful and peaceful, a great location to unwind and relax.

It was really hot and humid and although there is an AC in the room it is not very effective due to the fact there there is no insulation (no glass windows) in the villa. As a result there is also no sound insulation and the mosque singing at 5am feels literally like your are in the mosque (it went on for about an hour).

Loved this place. It felt like a sanctuary. So much wildlife to look at. The villa was beautiful and really unique. The staff were always smiling and nothing was too much trouble. Loved the cats and dogs around the place.

The villa was a little warm during the day. However once night fell it was fine. Water pressure seems to be an issue but the problem I had got sorted and I was then able to have lovely showers.

Unique experience in beautiful setting. The individual houses are spacious and comfortable. The home made bread and cake made for a varied and tasty breakfast which could be enjoyed with the resort's cats or a variety of tame birds. Restaurant food was outstanding and meant we ate everynight there and the staff were all helpful and friendly The resort is a 20 minute walk from the beach and town so easily accessible without a car. It is a stay which will remain long in the memory.

The accommodations are quite unique because you will be staying in a hut that was based on how local Malaysians lived in the huts decades and perhaps centuries ago. But of course with the modern facilities of a nice shower, air-conditioning, and Wi-Fi. The staff is great and always helpful. And the restaurant has very delicious food. The swimming pool is quite refreshing after a day of touring in the hot and humid conditions. The hotel is only about 10 minutes away from the airport and a grab taxi is at most five minutes away to pick you up and take you to any other destination on the island.

There are mosquitoes. But their rooms are equipped with mosquito netting, bug spray, and other repellents so we didn’t have any of these little critters in the room. The Wi-Fi is a bit patchy and some of the rooms.

We spent a few days at Bon Ton Antique Wooden Villas. We stayed in one of the traditional wooden houses with a view to the Lagoona. The house was amazing ! Very comfortable, the bathroom was great, the bed very comfortable. The decoration is really nice, with antic furniture. You really feel back in time. The staff is very friendly, the restaurant offers very good food. In addition to that, the hotel is also about supporting stray cats and dogs as well as art projects.

A beautifully crafted rustic traditional houses that allow you to experience 'kampung' (village) life, for the restful and peaceful holiday. The open view from the swimming pool is simply amazing. The villa is so beautifully curated and blends the traditional and modern interior and the open concept bathroom/shower is adorably charming. Staffs are extremely friendly and welcome you like to their own home. If you hate crowded resorts and bustling mega hotels, than this is surely the place to be. A fascinating boutique hotel.
