We had a wonderful vacation staying at Telaga. After 7 nights stay, it was so sad that it’s ending and to say goodbye. We felt very welcome and treated so well. We had stayed at so many hotels this is easily the best service and treatment that we ever had. All the staff are super friendly, accommodating and extremely helpful. When it comes to customer services, they set a high standard. Also they would go the extra mile to meet our needs and requests. Their enthusiasm to making sure our stay is enjoyable went above and beyond, it truly exceeding our expectations. The front desk reception help us make dinner reservations, book Mangrove tour and the car rental. The kitchen staff prepared delicious breakfast of western or Malaysian choices. The cooks will make you a healthy fruits muesli yogurt bowl upon request. The manager is so sweet and personable. We were thrilled to be invited to a BBQ on a boat and a special anniversary event held at a beachfront restaurant. It was fun and nice meeting the friendly locals. On my birthday she upgraded us to a huge king suite with a big Jacuzzi and surprised me with a birthday cake. Just want to say thank you to Rosada and her amazing team. The hotel is just 15 mins from the airport and walking distance to nearest beach. The hotel is reasonably priced and has good wifi. The rooms are clean and comfortable with a large bathroom. Highly recommended.

The staff were very friendly and the location was good with a shopping mart right opposite.

I wouldn’t say didn’t like but you can tell it needs more maintenance

The relaxing atmosphere of the hotel. It is away from the hustle and bustle of the main strip. A short walk to the fantastic beach. A great breakfast to start your day. Brilliant staff.

We have stayed at the Telaga Terrace several times now, this was our first visit back since COVID19. We realise the hard times these hotels faced during the pandemic, it must have been very difficult for them. We did feel like the hotel needed some upgrading. A lick of paint could do wonders for a room. Some of the tiles need to be repaired, and re grouting done. A good deep clean. We still really enjoyed our stay, and would definitely return again. It’s just constructive advice, nothing nasty.

I had a truly enjoyable stay. The staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout my visit. Their warm hospitality made a big difference—from the cheerful smiles to the genuine eagerness to assist. The breakfast was good, and I especially appreciated the generous gesture of offering us a traditional Malaysian breakfast to try—it was a thoughtful and memorable touch. The location is also ideal—very close to many popular attractions, making it convenient to explore the area.

There were insects and mosquitoes, which is somewhat expected given the proximity to nature. However, the staff were always quick to help and provided mosquito repellent or solutions whenever needed, so it was manageable and didn’t affect the overall comfort of my stay.

The room is located in a courtyard with a very nice swimming pool in the middle and furniture for sitting outside the room. Furniture for sunbathing around the swimming pool. All areas are very clean and well-maintained. Great location close to the airport and within walking distance to the center and the beach. Great supermarket on the opposite side of the road. One of the best restaurants OK Boss few hundred meters away right-hand side of Road 154. Breakfast is served in English or Malayan style. The Internet worked very well and was fast and responsive.

There is a lot of traffic on the main road outside the building you will hear it in the room in the evening.

The property was very clean and the staff were very helpful. The pool was well tended and welcome on a hot day. The breakfast was a bit limited in options but it was made on order which was a nice change from the usual buffet breakfasts. The location was an easy walk to the beach and approximately a 1 km walk to the centre of town. The supermarket and laundry across the street was very handy. For further distances, Grab taxis are very inexpensive.

The rooms furthest from the pool were very noisy but the staff accommodated a room change for me.

The pool was lovely. Great balance between sun and shade and appreciate the Umbrellas. Watched the staff wipe down pool furniture at the end of the day. Room by the pool was very good and honestly quite quiet . Staff was very kind and attentive. Good sized bathroom with a counter for you amenities. Good amenities provided too. Very Clean. Reception area inviting. Close to Pentang Cenang

The pool kushion are quite stained. Definitely need cleaning or replacement. Room needs a bit of TLC. Furniture is a bit worn. Breakfast was not great …. But still it was decent way to start the day. Seemed as the days wore on there were more breakfast things to choose from.

The pool area and breakfast were absolutely lovely - as were the staff! The location is on the road but it can't be heard from the rooms. The breakfast was really tasty and there were plenty of useful tips from reception about good places to go. They even have a Grab stop right outside the hotel entrance.

The bedroom walls were super thin so you could hear everything going on around you. The hotel staff were really keen to help, however - they changed our room twice! There isn't much around in the immediate, but only a short walk to the beach and to the main strip of bars.

Essential but comfortable room. Lovely pool, amazingly well kept. Helpful staff when in presence. Position 10 minutes walk from the beach. Very big grocery store front of the hotel, which is always a plus.

The only bad note is the communication with the hotel via Booking. I sent messages and received an automatic reply and was never really replied back. Staff is helpful in person when you get there though.

We had two wonderful rooms, the Telaga and Manshouri Suite. Great furniture, textiles and lights. Tasteful colors. Nice and quiet pool area lighted by candles in the evening. We had an anniversary decoration which consisted of towel art and a filled jacuzzi with foam and flowers, wonderful! Staff was helpful and fixed some light at the terrace (with an electrician?) already day after. The hotel is a true oasis from a lot of other hotels and restaurants that unfortunately tend to be quite distasteful in the area.

The breakfast was from a fixed simple menu, maybe some people expect buffet and more choices. However it turned out that more things like yoghurt could be ordered. The place is a Grab (taxi) place there are no cozy walks to the beach (downtown was generally not cozy, head for the beaches on south end with Grab). The hotel had small lunch menu (didn’t try). Maybe the should also have had a small evening menu (which they didn’t. The pool lights needs to be fixed and for next Christmas, skip the blinking decorations :-)
