Loved the location and personal service from Rafael. Bed was comfortable and WiFi signal and shower pressure were strong and consistent. Room is decent- sized, like a cruise ship cabin, with space for 1-2 suitcases. Window opened with a screen for lovely fresh air. Outlets by nightstands. We had all we needed. Very quiet at night. Staff helped carry suitcases upstairs so no worries on the “no elevator” comments. Lobby was a nice place to sit, read and relax. Full bar.
The coffee was not good. They have an espresso machine behind the bar but it’s not offered during breakfast, which itself was very limited and repetitive and pastries were dry. Pillows were hard. This is being picky, overall we enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again! We loved Sammy the dog and wish he could have come inside!!

The Patagonia Queen is a 1st class hotel. Everything about our stay was wonderful. There were absolutely no unpleasant surprises! The building is very solid and the rooms were very quiet. During are stay we were in rooms on both 1st and 2nd floors. The room we stayed in on the first floor (2 nights) was very close to front lobby and dining areas but extremely quite what a pleasant surprise. No slamming doors were heard! We stayed 4 nights on second floor and again real quiet. Did not hear any noise from adjacent rooms. Very nice library and seating areas on 2nd floor. We did not need A/C or heat during our stay, windows in rooms are operable. There is a well appointed fitness center on 3rd floor. The breakfast buffet was wonderful with many different choices. The staff was extremely helpful and the Manager Rafael is a top notch host.
There was nothing I didn't like!

The room is spacious and comfortable. It is located in the center of the city, very close to the majority of restaurants. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to the bus station. The hotel staff are amazingly friendly! Although there was no elevator, two staff members I met at the reception helped me carry my heavy luggage to the second floor. I had two separate stays and left my heavy luggage at the hotel. When I came back for my second stay, my luggage had already been sent to my room! I got up late in the morning because of the exhaustion the previous day and missed breakfast. The staff noted that and gave me a set of bread and coffee! It was a very good experience to stay in this hotel.

The welcome we received from Pablo was warm and hospitable and they upgraded our room to celebrate our anniversary. The location was perfect and minutes from the Main Street in El Calafate where all the stores & restaurants are located . Pablo was so helpful about giving us recommendations for meals, sightseeing and tours . Breakfast had a lot of choices and was delicious and the breakfast area was beautiful and sunny. We had a tour to Perito Moreno that morning ( highlight of the stay) and when he could not locate a taxi to take us to the bus station, Rafael Kim drove us there himself ( customer service that exceeded all expectations) . The hotel has outstanding wood furniture and interiors and a lobby that makes you want to relax for a bit with a full bar . When we returned from our glacier trip, Rafael made us the most incredible cocktails with Calafate liquor and glacier ice to celebrate our anniversary . We loved our experience at Patagonia Queen and highly recommend it
It was perfect for our stay and I wouldn't change a thing. In fact they made sure that we ate breakfast before leaving for Puerto Natales..

The breakfast was good, eggs provided which is always a bonus. The hotel is more like a nice Best Western than a boutique hotel and is a bit pricey for what it is, but still more luxurious than other small hotels around El Calafate. I slept well and the shower was good. The room was large. Hairdryer was very helpful. Staff could be better at online responses thru the Booking.com app as I had some questions about El Calafate to which I struggled to find answers before arriving. Location of hotel is also good, close to the main street without absorbing any of the street noise.

Conveniently located in the city centre on a Main Street full of restaurants, shops and tour companies. Drinking water (hot and cold) was available 24/7 from a dispenser. The staff were friendly and very helpful . Breakfast was the usual but of good quality. Would have loved if there was a choice of fried eggs.
Expensive. Knowing that most people set out early morning on a long full day tour and cannot avail of the breakfast, inspire of paying so much for the stay ; they should provide boxed take- away breakfast at least; with some sandwich / croissant/ fruit

Hotel really comfortable, rooms great and loved the lounge areas. Location was perfect.
We are a group of 8 and most of us became unwell after eating the supplied breakfast (possibly the fruit salad) which was surprising given the standard of the hotel. We told the reception staff and instead of asking if we needed any help they just denied it was their food. We were fortunate that we had a couple of people that felt ok and could go and get supplies for those under the weather.

Superb location. Beautiful boutique hotel. Delicious breakfast, beautiful view. Staying here is an experience. I was the first indian from india visited here. Rafael and his staff is the best part of the hotel. He made us signed his register and treated us with drink and gave calafate ham as gift. Rafael was too polite and true gentle men. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone. Thanks Rafael and your team🙏🏻

This hotel is worth all the great ratings! I was a little put off by the appearance of the rooms which looked a little dated. However I need not have worried. The room was comfortable and the bathroom was well lit and well ventilated (one of the few Patagonian hotels I stayed at that had good ventilation fans) with lots of storage and hanging space. Although I was given a ground floor room when I requested a higher floor, I didn't hear a lot of noise and had a restful sleep. Staff were exceptional and remembered me and what my plans were despite having so many rooms to deal with. They also alerted me to the fact that a customs form was required for the border crossing bus, which was sent late by the bus company, and rebooked my taxi to the station so I didn't arrive too early. Much appreciated!
Rooms looked a little dated but there have been strategic updates that made it comfortable.

Very characteristic hotel, in mountain style Spacious and clean rooms, as well as the bathrooms Quiet rooms perfect for a good rest Staff always present to make sure the guest has everything he needs Pleasant relaxation area with pool table
Very expensive bar drinks Breakfast was not very varied, it was the same every day Breakfast closes at 9:30, too early The hotel is not cheap but it is in line with the prices of El Calafate, considerably higher than all other Argentine destinations
