**A Truly Exceptional Stay at Harbour Hotel** Our experience at Harbour Hotel was nothing short of perfection. From the moment we stepped in, the staff treated us with such warmth and kindness that it felt like being welcomed by family. Their genuine hospitality made a huge difference throughout our stay. The rooftop restaurant is a true gem. The food was of Michelin quality, easily comparable to some of the finest dining we've experienced across Europe. Pair that with stunning views and the added luxury of a rooftop jacuzzi and bar, and you have a dining experience that’s simply unbeatable. The hotel’s facilities are pristine and thoughtfully designed. Our room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and came with everything we needed for a comfortable stay—large, cozy furnishings and air conditioning, ensuring we felt right at home. The location is ideal too. The beach is less than a 10-minute flat walk away, but if walking isn’t your preference, the hotel offers free bikes and a shuttle service to make getting around effortless. Having stayed in hotels across 75 countries, I can confidently say that Harbour Hotel is among the best. The combination of world-class service, outstanding food, and immaculate facilities is truly special. If you’re considering a stay here, don’t hesitate. You’ll be treated like family and have an unforgettable experience.

Our 5-night stay at Haber Apartments exceeded all expectations and stands out as one of the finest hotel experiences I've ever had. From start to finish, everything was impeccable. The staff's warmth and helpfulness were noteworthy, and the owner's genuine care and interest in our experience truly shone through. Their commitment to ensuring everything was flawless was evident. The pool area was a highlight, where we spent wonderful hours enjoying its ambiance. The room itself was not only spacious but also exuded a delightful fragrance, and the towel art added a charming touch. What truly impressed us was the exceptional breakfast. They catered to my partner's gluten-free dietary restriction with remarkable attention, crafting a special option for him every day – whether it was pancakes, toast, or any other preference he had. Sunset and sunrise on the roof was amazing! The quality of lunch and dinner offerings also impressed us, and the addition of live music on one of the evenings enhanced the experience even more. Our time at Haber Apartments left us with nothing to ask for. It was an outstanding stay, marked by genuine hospitality and attention to detail that made every aspect perfect.

Haber apartments is an excellent choice to use as a base to explore the south of Zanzibar. Following the many day trips organised by the hotel you can be comfortable on an evening and enjoy delicious high quality food at the restaurant. The food is amazing and all freshly prepared. The staff cannot do enough for you. I had cocktails made every night specially designed for me by the bar staff. The breakfast is amazing and plentiful to set you up for the day. If you are looking for quality then this is the place to stay. You cannot explore the area on an evening due to the location as it is remote but as we had been out all day then this wasn’t an issue for us. There are not many places in Zanzibar where it is recommended to be out at night as there is no street lighting and poor roads etc. The hosts will try and accommodate your needs wherever possible. The hotel is brand new and the rooms are huge.

Haber Hotel is a fantastic place! Small family hotel located in Matemwe, it offers comfort and quiet atmosphere for a relaxing holiday. I would recommend it to all those who want to avoid the big crowded noisy touristic hotels on the coast but in the same time want to stay close to beautiful beaches (nearby you can find Muyuni beach and Matemwe beach). The owners, Kris and Kasha, are great and would do everything to make the stay of the guests unforgettable. The staff is very kind and the whole dynamic of this property is tailored to fit the needs and comfort of the guests. Breakfast is fabulous, served from 8am till noon, for those who like to sleep in late, and for lunch and dinner we could chose delicious options from a rich menu or even off menu. Pets are welcome (the hotel is actually named after Haber, the owners' cute Cocker Spaniel). At any time of our stay we felt welcome, safe, well taken care of and even spoiled.

It was a fantastic experience. My personal favourite part was the food, it was terrific. The service was on point, the owners were very generous, genuine, attentive and authentic. We went for a couples' weekend and it was perfect, very calm and relaxing. It is a hotel but we feel at home. The rooms are also very spacious and clean. It is a very calm area so it can play in the hotels' favour or against, depending on what vibes you are looking for. Brand new hotel, the pictures do not lie!

Unfortunately not the closest hotel to the beach, but it is a walkable distance. It would be nice to have an easier way to access the beach. I don't have many negative things to say, more recommendations: it would be nice to have the prices in the local currency (Tanzanian shillings), not just American dollars, and there could be hooks in the bathroom to hang the towels. It is a very calm area so it can play in the hotels' favour or against, depending on what vibes you are looking for.

My husband and I came for a holiday to Zanzibar. We did not expect the food in the restaurant, the service surprised us. The hotel is located in a quiet place, a beautiful garden with pumpkin, passion, mango and more fruits. The hotel staff tried very hard to meet all our needs. Breakfast overlooking the ocean, something beautiful! A room clean and huge, only 10 seconds to feel the sand like flour. The price is adequate for the standard of the hotel. We are glad that we chose Haber place and not another commercial hotel. We will definitely return to Haber Apartments at the next opportunity when we are in Zanzibar again.

Wow, the best holiday ever :-) We liked the breakfast and restaurant. Fresh food, happy staff, nice juices and funny dog Haber around. We miss you already :-) Nice experience with bush baby in the night. When we ate dinner, the staff showed us a bush baby on the coconut tree. We were very happy to see something unique in Zanzibar. We book Deluxe Room for 2 people. Also close to the pool, you can swim there 24 hours. The pool is open even in the night. The room was clean, we don't have any complain. The hotel has laundry service, also it helped us a lot :-) Thank you Haber Apartments, soon we will come back!

I would recommend Haber apartmans to anyone ! It's a great place, rooms are very spacious, clean and tidy. When it comes to breakfast there was always a lot of fruit and food was really delicious! Beach is close to the apartments, but if you don't want to walk to the beach there's a pool in the garden. Kasia and Kris are extremely helpful and lovely people and even making a cake for my husband's birthday!!! Haber apartmans feels like home and we will be back for sure!

Everything was super!

Brilliant break fast, very good value for money. Excellent place to relax away from the hustle bustle of city life. Spacious and very clean room, bathroom was also very well maintained. Staff were very cordial and friendly the owner too. Emanuel is an excellent person.

There was nothing bad about the hotel, the only drawback about the place is that it is very far from the city. Great place to relax.

The breakfast was so big and delicious. The drinks are so good. The staff is so friendly and really wants you to have a great time. Very romantic if you would visit with a partner. If you would like to have a calm and relax vacation, I would go here. Make sure that your taxi talks to the hotel on the telephone for directions. The location is on the MAIN ROAD. There is another hotel with a similar name. It could be confusing if you ask around in the village. Also there is a very nice beach near by. You can do a lot of different things. Walk to another island, snorkeling, boat ride & more. Overall my mom and I really enjoyed our stay and will come again.
