The building itself is gorgeous, quite up-market for the price and well maintained with some fun and odd decor - our room also had a lovely garden view. Rina greeted us on arrival and was friendly and kind! The area is really green, pretty and quiet, but close enough to walk into town or take a 5 minute bus ride. The room itself was much more spacious than we expected, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Despite a shared bathroom there was never a wait for use, unsure if it would be more difficult in peak times. The free breakfast is quite generous too. Exceeded our expectations!

Quite a few things were broken - drinking water filter, missing light globes, broken fixtures - with a bit of extra care and maintenance the property would be outstanding. There also didn't seem to be any staff onsite on our second day/night as nothing had been cleaned and even the breakfast hadn't been cleared away. It wasn't really an issue for us but it did make the place feel a little neglected.

Room was comfortable and in a quiet neighborhood. Excellent breakfast. There is no full time staff available, but the owner responded quickly via WhatsApp. Excellent value for the money. Would stay here again.

It's an old building, which means the walls are a bit thin and the doors loud. This is to be expected in an old building, but light sleepers should be aware.

The facility is beautiful, a small building built at the beginning of 20th century. I also like a lot the location. Close to center town but in a very quite area

Breakfast was not at the same level we used to have in the past. There were less choices besides the coffee machine was not working and there was no one to fix the problem (or instructions available to fix it by ourselves)

Beautiful bedroom. Good location, 20 minute or so walk into central town. Shared bathroom was good as you’re not sharing it with many. Having tea and coffee facilities was also great. Would happily return and highly recommend.

The breakfast ran out quite quickly in the morning if you weren’t first up.

The villa is in a very fine location, pretty close to the city center - easily accessible by bus. Room was generous, with separate toilet, and pretty comfortable bed. We managed to check-in right before the check-in period specified. When arrived first tried to call, without success (carrier problem), but as the owners are also staying in the house, so you can just ring the bell, most probably someone is at home at all times. You basically get the whole "Italian experience" in this villa, as you are staying with an Italian family, with kids screaming and crying, people yelling, etc. Room was cleaned 3 times during our 4 night stay. Check-out is in the morning, but they let you leave your luggage in the house if you're plane/train is later. Cheapest accommodation in Bologna with separate bathroom and breakfast for the period. Worth the money.

There were ants in the bathroom. We let the owners know, so they took care of it. Breakfast could have been a bit more various. It's basic stuff from Lidl: two kinds of salami, some cheese, boiled egg, toast bread, muffins, cereals. Nothing fancy, nothing specific Italian. Screaming and yelling in the morning - we usually woke up in the same time, or even before the owners, so it wasn't a problem, but if you want to just relax maybe this is not the best place for you.

The house was nice and a very comfortable room. The access was also very easy.

it was a bit far but public transportation luckily wasn’t far. the breakfast was also a bit lackluster but was okay for the price.

We loved our stay at Villa Masi! The house was lovely and our room was perfect. Everything was clean and we felt very taken care of. We enjoyed the breakfast and the hosts were very kind.

The Villa and the room were very nice and clean. Walkable distance from the center.

The room was a little bit cold, the bathroom made very loud noises.

Villa Masi was really great place to stay at. Very clean, comfortable beds and in nice and quiet location not so far from city center. We have a room with shared bathroom but it was clean and spacious.

Really nice contact person:) The building looks like old villa. It was clean and very comfortable. Coffe and tea we could do whenever we want, in kitchen and as well in our room. PS. Do not pull string in shower, first google it ;)
