Ease of transport from airport using the recommended bus route A12. Using the Octopus Card for seniors getting half price transport on most routes including the airport express A12 or A10. The view from the harbour view room was fantastic to see the boats on the harbour.

The hot water needs to be hotter.

Beautiful harbor view- big windows and wellcome snack basket, really nice service and amenities. I extended for the whole stay of 10days. Definitely recommend

The location is much quieter than Causeway Bay and the MTR is only a short walk away. There are several supermarkets and eateries nearby for the convenience. We found a local bakery and a popular roasted meat stall which we like. There is also a local porridge stall which also sells the HKG style red bean soup.

It would have been perfect had the staff been more meticulous. Sugar, creamer and teabags were not topped up for 2 out of the 4 days of accommodation (2 separate bookings of 2 nights each).

The restaurant had awesome food. We tried breakfast, lunch and dinner, all were good. The chef is very creative and innovative so if you like the same ole, same ole, this isn't it. The staff all the way from the check in desk, concierge, workers, were awesome. A big smile on their faces when they greet you, no matter what time of day, and all requests were quickly and efficiently taken care of.

The storage inside the room was a bit lacking, mainly due to a long stay, Would have appreciated more drawers in the room. Easy fix: turn the tv stand into more storage with drawers.

The location was great - the tube is 5 minute walk, tram and bus literally 2 minutes. I didn't use taxis at all during my stay because the public transport was just too convenient. The area around is the authentic Hong Kong - not the corporate centre. The staff in particular were amazing. Every person working at the hotel was so nice and so attentive about anything you need! One of the best services I've had - thank you all. Rooms are great size too. The black out curtains are just so needed + the sound isolation is so good that you can't hear the noise of the city outside.

My room was not too clean when I checked in - a bunch of hairs on the floor and bathroom - but when I told the concierge, it was immediately perfectly cleaned.

Toilet did not have a built in bidet/bidet spray, which is very important for Japanese, Muslim and guests used to using bidets for better personal hygiene. Hotel should seriously consider installing them as most higher end hotels and hotels in SEA, Japan and Korea already have them. With a built in bidet spray, this would be my perfect hotel in HK.

Hotel was very conveniently located. My sister lives in Kennedy Town and it was just 1 MTR and few bus stop away. This hotel exceeded our expectations. From the time we arrived, the bell boy took care of our luggage. We went to the check in but they didn't offer us anything, not even any information regarding the hotel facilities etc. Love the Nespresso in the room and also water filter, we usually buy bulk of water bottles. Stayed 6 days and not a single day, we heard any disturbance from the neighbor. The room was spacious so was the bathroom. We got the city view and we were happy about it, sleeping with our curtains open and looking at those lights were amazing.

Although we are very happy with this hotel, the only thing we didn't like was during the check out process. Not a single person, came to help with our luggage or asked us to help getting a taxi.

My fiancé and I flew to Hong Kong to get married. We were searching for a 4-star hotel, and One-Eight-One offered the best cost and value. The room was clean, new, and spacious, with good shampoo and conditioner provided. On our registration date, we had booked a taxi for 8:30 am, but due to traffic, the taxi couldn't arrive on time. The hotel kindly offered us a ride instead, which was very thoughtful and much appreciated.

I'm sensitive to smoke, and upon checking into our first room, there was a noticeable smell of smoke. However, the staff promptly addressed the issue by relocating us to a higher floor and even managed to arrange a room on the same floor for my family, who arrived the next day.
