Staff was wonderful, it was like staying at your favorite Aunts home. The breakfast on the morning of our stay was homemade egg burritos. Not those faux egg omelets most of these hotels serve. They also has biscuits and cream gravy. When I spoke to the server, she said they have a different breakfast every day, all homemade. I will definitely be coming back here for my next visit to East Texas.

Pillows. Not just this hotel, but most hotels. I will never understand why hotels don't use oversized polyester pillow that have some substance to them, not these tiny cotton ball pillows that go flat as soon as you put your head on them.

I liked that it had a mini fridge for me to freeze my cooler packs for my lunch box. The bed was also actually really comfortable and I slept well.

The fridge made a loud clicking noise that didn't stop the whole time I was there. The shower curtain wouldn't stay closed so it just made a mess in the bathroom with water. The shampoo and conditioner is really awful, but I am ultimately glad it was offered, because I didn't bring any with me.

The staff was really nice, helpful and pleasant! My husband and I were in town for his mother’s funeral and they all offered the condolences. My husband is originally from Kilgore and we’ve stayed here in the past. It’s conveniently located and is a very nice, clean property.

There’s isn’t a clock in the room and there weren’t any extra rolls of toilet paper.

Breakfast was very enjoyable. Good selection and good quality; staff was very helpful. I appreciated all the beds in the room, traveling with three young children.

The Wi-Fi was somewhat weak and not terribly reliable. Otherwise, the writing would be 10 stars across the board.

Absolutely beautiful place. Heather at the front desk was wonderful!! Christine at the breakfast bar was also wonderful both were very friendly to us always greeted us!! Hang on to them they made my stay!!

The place was clean.the staff was friendly. The breakfast was good .

The wi fi did not work on the 4th floor.I went to the front desk and all they said was they will put a work order in.We were there from Thursday to Saturday and it never worked

Staff was wonderful. Room was pretty, comfortable, and accessible. Location was in a perfect place behind a Chili's, right near Walmart and other places. Breakfast was delicious. Price point was good. Desk space to work.

Pool was closed. Renovations taking place so no carpet in front of my room. TV is not a Smart TV. Wifi unstable. Air conditioning a little confusing.

Property was clean, the room was spacious, and all the staff we saw was phenomenal

Hall was significantly warmer than rest of the building and smelled of fresh paint. I was also charged more for the room than the booking reservation said I would be.

The breakfast provided could have had more choices. Eggs and bacon or sausage would have been nice. While there were apples and oranges, the high sugar and processed ingredients was too much.

The breakfast is good. The staff is very helpful and friendly.

A second elevator would be nice. The only ice machine is on the first floor.
