Very welcoming; room was ready early for us. The whole hotel and our room was clean, bright and very well looked after. The staff are delightful, nothing is too much trouble. The lake views are beautiful and the terrace is a wonderful place to sit for drinks or a meal. We had two meals in the hotel during our short stay and the food is first class. Complimentary buffet breakfast is very plentiful and had everything you could possibly need to start your day. It is a 15 minute walk to the station and trains run regularly and on time, making it very easy to get around Zurich. We would highly recommend.

Beautiful, charming hotel just outside of Zurich, with spectacular views of Lake Zurich. It was clean and comfortable and the breakfast in the morning was wonderful. Unfortunately, it was raining, so we couldn't spend much time on the terrace, but I can imagine that it would have been lovely to do so. The boat dock was conveniently located just in the rear of the hotel. There were plenty of stores and restaurants in the area and if you venture up the road, other villages to explore. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend.

Parking was available on the street but it was a bit of a walk to get to our car. The property offered a coffee maker in the room, which unfortunately leaked on the floor. All minor issues - we would stay again and again.

Super nice location right on the water with really friendly staff. Restaurant had very good food and it was easy to park. Could just go for a swim outside the hotel and that was beautiful.

No A/C and very old standard in the room. Old and dirty carpet and there was black mould in the bathroom. Molton Brown soap dispensers that looked like they had been used for many years and just refilled and refilled. Was supposed to be green soap in one dispenser but it was different layers of green, blue and orange, quite nasty.

Great location on the lake and close to town. Friendly staff. Excellent restaurant. Newly refurbished rooms with good confort level.

Room too hot throughhout both nights with no way to individually regulate the temperature. Worse, one alarm started in the corridor during the first night around 1 am and lasted more than 1 hour before it was stopped seriously interrupting our rest. Nobody was on site to do anything about it for too long.

The bed was incredible! Comfy and big (we were in Room 25). Breakfast was of high quality and small in the selection, the French music playing in the background transported us to Paris. MARIO helped us to print out some papers, the rest of the staff we interacted with very pleasant! (expect for a person from the cleaning team that entered our room at 12:00 after knocking 1 time on the door).

All was great, can highly recommend.

Lovely room with lake view. Comfortable bed and really quiet at night. Excellent breakfast with good coffee that gets served to you at the table, no general coffee machine. The staff were very friendly and were flexible with giving some of our group an early packed breakfast on the Sunday morning before the allotted breakfast start time.

Restaurant was quite expensive, but the service was excellent and you are paying for the convenience of just walking upstairs back to your bedroom when the meal is finished.

Everything. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Herr Obermeyer and Julia were the nicest people I ever dealt with at ANY hotel worldwide - seriously! The location of the hotel is unique and the view from our room was simply spectacular. A delicious breakfast was served on the patio including lake view as well :) Beds were clean and comfortable. A Nespresso machine and 2 bottles of water daily was a very nice „to have“ in the room.

An external company didn’t clean the bathroom as they should but the management immediately wrote a complaint after we told them.

The hotel was located beside Lake Zurich and a small harbour. The room was well kept with old furnitures. Bed was comfortable. The wifi was good. The breakfast was even more wonderful with good spread. There was limited free parking space about 200m from the hotel. The hotel probably ideal if you are driving and needed to have a short stop while travelling along the less busy route. Cleanliness was top notch!

Quiet location outside of Zürich, but still easily reachable (there’s a train every half an hour that takes you to Zürich main station in 14 minutes. You need to walk or take a bus to the station though, but the bus stop is right next to the hotel). Amazing lake view, small but decent breakfast, welcoming staff. Everything is nice and clean.

A mosquito net would be nice! I opened the window in the evening and got a whole zoo in my ceiling. Instructions about reaching the side door weren’t super clear. The walls are paper thin, I could hear people opening the door like they were opening mine, not theirs. Didn’t bother me, but might be a deal breaker for light sleepers.

The decor, location and breakfast was very good

Wifi connection was terminated at 11:00 when vacating the room. It would have been useful to have it for a couple of hours afterwards whilst relaxing on the terrace. Cost of local taxi, booked by the hotel, back to the airport cost £169 which I thought was too expensive!!
