We had a fantastic stay at Sedartis. Breakfast staff were all so lovely and friendly. Rooms were clean, and the cleaner left chocolate hearts on our beds. The best bit was the way she / he put my daughter’s plush dog like it was peeking from under the pillow. That really made our day! Thank you. The hotel is also right across the train station and a few minute walk to a supermarket and a nice Italian restaurant.

Some of the staff at reception can smile a bit.

The location was amazing ! unbelievably easy access to both rail and boat transport with frequent trains to "everywhere"! The balcony view, just wonderful. Nearby shop. Staff very helpful and always smiling!

Expensive breakfast !

The location in Thalwil was perfect for us as it was within walking distance of relatives we were visiting. The hotel was modern, with stylish, generous sized rooms, extremely clean and with good amenities and situated right next to beautiful Lake Zurich with Thalwil's main railway station right across the street. The staff were friendly, efficient and helpful and housekeeping prompt and inconspicuous. Can't comment on breakfast as we didn't eat there.

Nothing to report except for a little late night noise on the street the first night (Friday) which was probably noticeable as we were on the first floor.

Nice looking hotel, clean rooms, comfortable beds, excellent breakfast. Everybody is nice, my very best wishes to the breakfast buffet staff. I was glad to have connecting rooms for my family. Close to the lake. Good place for organizing an event. The New Year's party had great food and amenities.

They don't have vending machines. I was there for a holiday and everything around was closed. I wanted to buy soft drinks and the frontdesk told me to drink tap water. The hotel is pretty far from Zurich, it is imperative to use a car or the train.

Very friendly and accommodating staff - front desk, restaurant and dining staff, and housekeeping. Our kids loved the extra mile - heart shaped chocolates left on the bed after the room was cleaned! The property is very close to the train station making travel very easy.

Nothing at all

The hotel's location is PERFECT! It's a few steps from the Thalwil train station AND the boat station of Lake Zurich. We were able to go to Zurich via boat and enjoyed the sights and activities over the water in Lake Zurich. Our room had a balcony that had a good partial view of the lake. This is also close to the bus station that you can take to the Lindt Chocolate Museum. Overall, I would come back to this hotel!

The drinking water only gets refilled when they do housekeeping and front desk will not give it to you even if you ask. Don't ask for water from the hotel restaurant when you dine in. A bottle of water costs 10€. We learned that the hard way when I saw the bill. Should have asked first.

Excellent hotel, gorgeous views, food was amazing. Rooms were lovely, we were woken by the beautiful sunrise over the lake Zurich, which was amazing. Train station is across the road, however trains run so quietly that there was no noise at all. Train to city centre is 11min, airport less than 30 min, it made the travel effortless and very pleasant.

The location by the train station is the perfect starting point for taking trains into the Swiss Alps. Also, the hotel is just up the hill from a wonderful ferry ride into the city.

Be aware that the beautiful outdoor spaces that overlook the lake are not open all year. We assumed they would be in early September, but they were closed already. Check the schedule!

The staff was super helpful. especially Michelle and Simone (sorry if I misspelled their name). The facility was comfortable and the lake view rooms had a scenery to die for. we were the first guests from the Maldives and they treated us very well.

They could add an indoor slipper in rooms as going to the balcony barefoot was not ideal as we don't like to roam around the room in our daily shoes as it makes the place untidy. Also, the breakfast was for SFr.28 which is a bit expensive compared to the available food varieties.

Very convenient location, next to a train station and closed to a supermarket. Room is small but in good design, bed, desk & chair are comfortable.

Checking in is slow because the hotel at first couldn’t find my online booking although i showed the confirmation emails, the hotel had to start a new file again.
