The staff were all very helpful and friendly. Our room was spot on - clean, spacious and perfect for what we needed. We loved the location - close to the lake, the centre, the tramline, and with a couple of supermarkets close by. The roof terrace was a great bonus. Breakfasts were delicious and, particulary for the 2 of us who are vegan, offered plenty of choice. We also made use of the self catering facilities, which were great. We loved the extra touches too - free water and apples, welcome icecreams, and free coffee throughout the day. If we do come back to Zurich, without a doubt we will stay at Alma.

Alma Hotel was a fabulous hotel with lovely old rooms with ,modern twist only 15 mins walk from old town. A perfect hotel near the lake with a ladies only wellness and yoga area. They even had a guest kitchen where you could store food in the fridge and prepare meals or snacks. Quite eco friendly with an honesty bar for drinks in reception and 24hr coffee machine in the restaurant. The only downside is that after my massage there isn’t a changing room or shower to use so when on the day of check out to get a massage it’s awkward. Apart from that tiny issue I would highly recommend this hotel in Zurich. Also a roof top terrace that would be fabulous in good weather!

The location of the hotel is central and is right in the heart of the city, you can find shops, supermarkets and pharmacies, and the attractions are within walking distance both on foot and by public transport. the rooms are equipped with everything you need, you also have access to a kitchen without a stove which is not essential for your stay as you have a fully equipped kitchen on the ground floor where you can cook. You also have a bar with which you can prepare coffee, cappuccino and hot tea during your stay. There is no minibar but it is not that important as the hotel has a bar area where you have everything you need from snacks to drinks. clean and welcoming hotel, modern and comfortable details. excellent staff ready to help you with a smile, especially the girl who welcomed us in the afternoon during our arrival, who provided us with all the information we needed. Excellent breakfast with quality products, perhaps little choice. maybe I would give the opportunity to eat meat too. Or I would increase the products with other vegan or vegetarian choices. We loved the green, ecological choice and above all the innovation of the hotel, modern, comfortable and functional. during your stay you can ask for a massage, although it seems to me that it was only for women. There is also a terrace on the top floor

The hotel needs to improve from different angles: - reception 24h for the guest needs after 22pm - breakfast selection - only vegan/vegetarian option, it’s better to have also just for request the meat or others selection. If necessary have only vegan/vegetarian selection to give the guest more option like fruit salad, cakes, savory cakes, pancakes & muffin. - the floor makes creak noises on the 4th floor. - we can’t manage the temperature in our room.

Location: only a block from the lake, and a short walk to the historic district on the river. Less 15-min walk to the Metro. Uber finds it easily. Appearance: beautiful building. Tastefull interior decor. Breakfast: we had to leave before breakfast started, but boy did it smell delicious. Room: It has been our experience whenever we book a room for four, there are only two sets of towels. Here there were accommodations for four; towels, drinking cups, and the beds were prepped. The room was larger than expected. There did not appear to be any temperature controlls in the room, but we were able to open what appeared to be newer windows to cool the room down for the evening. The roof top garden was very nice to relax. Probably, one of the best stays we have had, too bad it was only short lived because we were only there because of a missed connecting flight.

We could not stay to enjoy breakfast.

The ecological (as much as possible) and sustainable approach to managing the hotel and its services and amenities is exemplary. The location in the hart of Seefeld area is perfect, the mattress and the bed linen are of good quality, breakfast menu is well adapted for the people with food allergy and intolerance issues. And, the cherry on the top of the cake is the small Spa&Relax area with the access to the rooftop terrace!

I had a bad luck with the noise in the neighborhood this time (I am returning guest of this small hotel). Usually, the whole area around Mainaustrasse is very quiet, but there was a quite loud party on Saturday night, in the house opposite to the hotel. So, the night was quite short for me ...

Everything! The staff were wonderful, from the greeting on arrival to showing me around the facilities, to the goodbyes when leaving. The room was large, light and airy, and very comfortable. The bathroom was clean with quality products. The location is super convenient with plenty of restaurant options in the immediate vicinity and only a 10 minute walk from the centre. All in all, it was an enjoyable experience. Oh! Mustn't forget the rooftop terrace. I was fortunate to enjoy an unusually (for March) warm and sunny evening up there.

It can get noisy on weekday morningsif you choose to sleep with the windows open, but they do provide complimentary earplugs.

Very centrally located! Trams, lake, stores, restaurants. Staff is wonderful, hotel clean and nicely decorated. Breakfast good. Didn’t have a chance to use spa but looked wonderful. This is not included in price though. 24 hour tea, coffee & water is a nice touch. Also snacks available for a small fee. Rooftop area is lovely. Loved this place . Will be back .

My room was on the second floor and I could hear the people upstairs throughout the night walking and using the bathroom. The floors are wood and the building is a beautiful renovated older place so it’s understandable the floors will make noise and insulation is not great. Next time I’ll book a room on the top floor. Not a problem!!

Everything was really good. The staff were lovely and the rooms were excellent. Breakfast was fantastic and the garden offered a space to chill in the shade and the rooftop to relax in the sun. Not much more you could ask for.

Only nitpicking... But the price although competitive was expensive but hey... That's Zurich and Switzerland!

Beautiful location, loved the terrace, perfect place to have a coffee or a drink. The room was spacious and had a little balcony that looked down the road towards the lake. Close to the tram stops and a 30 minute walk into down along the lake. Very convenient.

There was no conditioner in the room, and our room stank of paint, so much so it gave me a headache.

The location is amazing, a minute away from the lake and in the quiet part of the city center. The lady on the front desk was super friendly. We were there in the middle of the summer heatwave and we were offered refreshments, ice cream, she was even ready to try to find us some swimsuits so we can go swiming in the lake!
