The hotels location is perfect. Very close to the lake, within walking distance from the city centre and the tram is literally just outside the hotell when you feel like moving around the city a little faster. The staff was really kind, helpful and service minded. They really made our stay something extra ordinary. They helped buying tram tickets and really took their time in recommending different restaurants and landmarks around the city. The breakfast was nice, it didn’t have the widest selection of breakfast choices but everything was fresh and of high quality. The bircher muesli was my favourite.

Beautiful clean hotel. Alex on reception was incredibly helpful. Able to park the car right outside. A two hour limit but after 8pm it was free until the morning, when you could do two more hours. Good location close to the river and a good walk into town.

Unfortunately we didn’t realise it didn’t have air conditioning and even though there were two fans in our room it was still incredibly hot, so didn’t sleep well. 😢

Alex at the reception captured us for almost one week by his support to find the right room. Also the other people working during breakfast time (the lovely ex-fussball-Profi) and the ladies taking care for the buffet, were excellent. The Hotel is very calm and modern. The rooms are cozy and the style fits the name „Seehotel“. Wonderful experience and again when back to Zürich!

Great location. A few minutes walk to the Zurich lake, cafes and tram stops. We booked the junior suite, which was well appointed and spacious for our family of three.

Room Service was not prompt. On the first day, our room not made up until almost 3:30pm (I had to remind the front desk) and on the second day the Coffee Cups were not cleaned.

We were upgraded from Hotel Seehof to Hotel Opera by the lovely Anna and Alex in reception. Both were so welcoming and friendly and genuinely wanted our stay to be special. Therefore we were upgraded to Room 554 which had a balcony and a beautiful view of the lake .

Cannot comment on Hotel Seehof as did not stay there but Hotel Opera was perfect.

The hotel is nice. Place and location is good.. Room is cleaned everyday. Close to the tram line. Walking distance to the nearby river and restaurant.

It is a very hot summer in Switzerland. We visit in mid July. The room has only small fan. No aircon in the room. It is very hot and humid in the day and night. Not able to sleep well.

My friend lost her passport the day before our scheduled departure from Switzerland. The staff members went the extra miles to help with the search and the rush application of a new passport. They were the most helpful staff members among all the hotels I have ever stayed in. A 10 out of 10! Thank you again!

Very welcoming and comfortable - ideal for a one-night stay when in Zurich on business. The rooms are small - but that is to be expected in Zurich, especially at this price. Ana, the receptionist, was outstanding: very helpful and welcoming – a perfect blend of professionalism and genuine warmth.

The hotel is an excellent location in Zurich, very close to the lake and the breakfast was delicious with a good variety of foods. We got champagne on the 2nd morning with breakfast which was fantastic ! The staff were friendly.

There was building work taking place nearby and we were not informed in advance. We woke up to the sound of drilling The hotel also did not respond to messages requesting advice on how best to get there from the centre prior to the stay.

Beautiful little hotel with an excellent location- walkable distance to Historic Old Town and train stations. The highlight of our stay was the hotel staff. Greeted us warmly and were very helpful in guiding us on attractions to visit. Highly recommend!

The bathroom was quite small by American standards and there was not an enclosed shower - only a shower curtain. This led to water getting on the bathroom floor.
