Hotel Seegarten was absolutely lovely! The staff was wonderful and very friendly and helpful! The location was perfect and quiet! We were 2 minutes from the Lake which was beautiful and we walked all over! Also, the Seegarten is less than 5 minutes from the main street where you can catch the tram which comes every 10 minutes. You can take the tram to the train station as well as it's a short ride. There are many restaurant choices, shops and food stores in the immediate area as well. The room was lovely! Comfortable bedding, good lighting and very quiet. The breakfast was excellent with lots of choices for everyone. The cappuccinos and coffee were also delicious! And, the staff in the breakfast area was very friendly and nice! We loved our stay at the Seegarten and would definitely stay there again!

I loved the location and almost all of the accomodations. No complaints about beds, bathroom, location which is very nice

For the price, I definitely would have expected a nice breakfast buffet. But there was absolutely nothing available on the premises. The staff recommendations for the restaurant next door for dinner (after 14 hours of travel) were very good and in fact I enjoyed two meals there and I also liked the breakfast across the street. But those two excellent facilities are NOT part of the hotel. For the quality of the hotel in general, a breakfast should be available, included in the price of the room and competitive with several others in the area.

It was a really comfortable stay at Hotel Seegarten. The room was very clean and convenient, and there was not a single spot of dust. It was also very quiet. We did not hear anyone throughout our stay, meaning it was very easy to relax after a long day of exploring. The room was big and spacious. The bed was very comfortable and big. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Thank you for making our stay a comfortable experience! Checking in and out was very easy. It is in a perfect location with only a 1 minute walk to the lake. It was a 5-10 minute walk to the centre. Will definitely book here again the next time we come back to Zurich!

We liked everything.

I love this place. If I come to Zurich again I will still choose them. Staff very friendly and helpful. The room was small but it was modern, toilet and shower very clean. It has a mini fridge and a kettle although I would love a microwave inside the room to heat my food but otherwise everything is well and that was the only downside. Price was reasonable and location was perfect and walking distance to everything. I am a solo female traveller and this place was safe to walk even on night time.

A charming, old-fashioned hotel located superbly close to the lakefront, good restaurants and the centre of town. All reception staff were very friendly and helpful and we really appreciated the hotel's ready willingness to look after our luggage for our last day in Zurich before flying out late in the evening. Our room was peaceful, spacious and comfortable with a pleasant street view.

Only drawback was the old, narrow power sockets still installed, but at least a provided hub device enabled recharging of our phones.

This hotel is amazing. Our front desk concierge, Celine, was incredibly professional and generous. The check-in process was very easy. The breakfast is lovely. My partner and I grabbed a seat by the window to enjoy our breakfast. The location couldn't have been better for our needs. It's close by the beautiful waterfront and very close to public transportation. A very special thank you to the entire staff at the Hotel Seegarten for making our visit to Zurich special. The elevator is a bit small so large families would take turns for luggage. We were happy to take the stairs and appreciate the beautiful artwork throughout the hotel.

Location was perfect, easy walk to tram which went directly to the train station and airport. Hotel needs a little love on the exterior (it was bit worse for wear)....but was very clean and fresh internally. Room was big enough for 2 people bed comfortable, bathroom functional and clean. Staff where super accommodating when my flight was rescheduled at a very reasonable cost for an additional night because of the unexpected change.

everything was perfect for what I needed on this trip

The quirkiness of the interior of French style and an adorable vintage style. Kitchen staff very, very caring and welcoming. Reception, gave me all that I needed and more :) The location is very convenient and the outside terrace is nice to relax in. I was taken by few small details, French posters and little wooden fish key chains. It was a lovely experience overall.

For me the room was too small and not clean for the price. I couldn't move around in the bathroom and I am petite. There was barely space to put my suitcase down. Things were a bit dirty (ex. remote control, hairdryer), dressing gowns dusty. There were some arguments of the neighbours outside the block upon my arrival and loud roadworks very nearby. The rooms are not muted and packed closely so I was concious of listening to music in my room mindfully of other guests and neighbours. If I needed a room in such excellent location I probably would use it again as I was taken with a lot of adorable details in there and lovely staff. It just depends on what you need :)

This hotel is older, but exceptional for our taste. Each room had it's own bathroom and the furniture and decor was perfect for the style of this hotel. It reminded me of staying in old hotels in either New York City or Chicago. Old wooden floors, big wooden doors, high ceiling, etc. It's located just on the edge of old Zurich so we could easily walk to old town from there. We were also 1 block from Lake Zurich so we ended up renting a paddle board boat for the date to cruise around and go for a swim. The hotel provides you with a bag of beach towels. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Our favorite hotel on the trip.

The location was perfectly situated by the lake and close to multiple public transit options. The staff was extremely helpful and kind and breakfast was delicious. Offerings in the mini fridge were delightful and perfectly little snacks before bedtime.

The room was relatively small which I expected based on the type of room I selected however my mother was my guest and she has some mild mobility issues, consequently the height and orientation of the tub was difficult to access for her. In fact, it was a little difficult for me to get into just because of the height. I love the opportunity to take a bath however a walk in shower would have been more accessible.
