It’s better to take the tram from Zurich HB station to reach this property. It’s about 350 meters of flat road to reach the property. If you get down at Zürich Stadelhofen station with is the closest, then it’s an arduous uphill climb to reach the property. It’s difficult with luggage.

Very convenient location, super friendly and helpful staff. The room has everything that you need. Besides the fan the room has a convector that allows you to cool it down during very hot days. The design is very cute too. I think it’s a very decent option for that money given it is Switzerland.

Breakfast is overpriced and quite poor unfortunately. The croissants taste like paper (you really need to change the supplier), the scrambled eggs were to dry. I’d probably also add some seasonal greens to the veggies section. Elevator is tiny and can fit only one adult with a luggage.

I liked the location near the Stadelhofen train station and walkable to old town, lake and restaurants. Staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, bed was comfortable and linens were very nice.

One of our rooms had a strong cigarette smoke odor and we had to change rooms the second night because it was effecting our health. The top floor room was very hot due to the heat wave when we arrived but thankfully with the provided fan and AC running all day while we were out, it was cooler in the evening to go to sleep. No bug screens on the windows so lots of bugs got in especially at night with lights on attracting them.

Lovely decor, comfortable bed, excellent shower. The room was warm but we could easily open the windows. The multi function plug sockets (including British)/charging points were useful. Breakfast was great with a nice selection and replenished quickly on busy mornings. Staff very friendly and welcoming. There is a fridge in the room which will be useful in future visits to store my dairy free items.

Our safe was locked open so we couldn't use it, but this was a minor inconvenience. A selection of teas and coffee in the rooms would have been nice - there were only two tea bags, and if you choose to not have your room cleaned daily, you are quickly out of stock. One of us is mildly allergic to dairy and there are no dairy free options for breakfast (spread/milk) and presumably butter is used for cooking. No real surprise in the land of cheese and chocolate and a cow themed hotel lol.

Generally speaking it is a nice hotel for a short stay. Its not very central but within a short distance to the city centre. I liked the swiss decor of the hotel.

The breakfast was not good at all, limited selection of hot buffet, scrambled eggs- overcooked and cold, sausages and ham were not cooked enough and were cold. Also most of the time the lady serving breakfast was not there so nobody to ask or clean the table. Also the water in the shower is very weak and the shower head kept leaking all the time. Ironing board was broken and the iron was not working properly. Also a massive stain on a chair.

It is a very-very good variant to visit Zurich, for a short or a long stay. Very good position, very good facilities, nice personal, good breakfast, perfect cleanliness. So, in a nut shell formulation: best value for the price!...

Nothing to mention here. Everything was just perfect. Big thanks and hugs to the staff. Special mention for the very nice and kind Valeryi, from reception!... I would come back in this hotel, any single occasion I will have.

The hotel was a short walk from the Old Town. We had a spacious room, with a good shower. The breakfast set us up nicely for the day, and the little gym was well-provisioned, although we didn't have time to use it.

All of the pillows were really soft. I would have liked a firmer option. These may have been available had I asked, but I only remembered when I came to rest my weary head at the end of long days investigating Zurich and locations further afield.

Everything except to the receptionist - a guy upon my check-in on 3July at 445pm were rude. He just insisted that I showed him my passport. I was digging for but I told him - maybe you could pull out the booking first with my booking number while waiting for me to dig out my passport but his reply with rolling eyes - “ I need the passport“ in tone condescending tone Otherwise it would have been exceptional

Swiss Night is located in a quiet residential area, conveniently close to the Lake and the Kunsthaus. The room was tastefully decorated in typical Swiss style, with modern amenities including heating, warm blankets, a desk, and coffee-making facilities. We liked the whole ambience of the facility. The breakfast was delicious and there was a variety on offer. Breakfast is served in the cellar which in itself was an interesting venue.

it’s worth noting that the bar fridge remains unstocked and one can only get drinks and snacks from the reception area to take to your room. Additionally, the absence of a comfortable lounge area and a luggage storage room could be areas for improvement. The only seating in the reception area is hard wooden benches.

The decoration of the room was very pleasant, with dimmed light from the ceiling, which was particularly useful to combine the needs of us adults and our little child who was sleeping. The room was spacious and the shower very nice. The breakfast room and food options were also good. The neighbourhood is great for walking around.

I imagine design architects have their reasons, but it is not very practical to have the door shutting at you when you are sitting on the toilet ;) Maybe sliding doors next time?
