It's actually surprisingly great. Better than most 5 star hotels in zurich. The details are right! Staff are so helpful, bed is comfortable. Location is great.

Breakfast was very fresh with good variety of foods and the ambiance each morning was warm and welcoming. A very nice way to begin each day. Best coffee in Europe. Friendly, helpful and professional staff at every turn. Beautifully renovated hotel in the Art Deco style. Lake front and well located to train, bus and tram transport. Our Classic King room was on the 5th (top) level via fast lifts. It was spacious, tastefully decorated in duck egg blue tones. Heated bathroom floors and a decent hairdryer were very welcome. Quality crisp linens, feather quilt and pillows and an exceptionally comfortable mattress.

Check-in is strictly 3pm. Switzerland is an expensive country to visit and hotel prices reflect this.

Beautiful hotel on the lake! the location was perfect - walking distance to the walking paths around the lake and to many restaurants and shops in the area. The breakfast was outstanding! wonderful selection and the restaurant itself was very inviting and beautifully designed. I would like to give special thanks to all the front desk staff who were always helpful and even gave us an amazing upgrade to our room when we returned for the second part of our trip. We were given the junior suite lake view - we seriously didn't want to leave - it was perfect! Also, thanks to the lovely bellboy - he was always quick to help with anything we needed, absolutely wonderful service all around! We will definitely return on our next trip to Zurich!

We had a wonderful stay at this charming boutique hotel! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The breakfast, while not overly extensive, was delicious and thoughtfully prepared. Our room was beautifully decorated, clean, and fully equipped with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The location is a highlight — right in front of the lake, offering a peaceful and scenic atmosphere. It’s just a pleasant 20-minute walk to Bahnhofstrasse and around 26 minutes to Zürich HB, making it convenient yet calm. Definitely coming back — highly recommended for a cozy, stylish, and well-located stay in Zurich!

1. The hotel has a beautiful ambiance from the lobby to the room—chic and elegant in its own unique style. 2. The interior design is modern and stylish without losing its charm. 3. Our suite was spacious and well-laid out, which made the stay very comfortable. 4. The bed was soft and cozy, perfect for a restful night. 5. My daughter loved her extra bed, which was also very comfortable. 6. The suite had a balcony, adding an extra touch of space and openness. 7. Breakfast at the restaurant was delicious, with good food and a pleasant dining atmosphere. 8. The hotel staff were very helpful and accommodating—especially when assisting us with our luggage.

1. The view from the balcony was underwhelming—not much to see despite having that outdoor space. 2. The air conditioning felt improvised—not ideal, especially if you have a crawling toddler. 3. The drop-off area in front of the hotel is very tight. Even with a small or compact car, you have to partially drive onto the sidewalk, which causes inconvenience to passing cyclists and pedestrians. 4. Parking is located in a separate building about 150–200 meters away—not convenient when carrying a lot of luggage. 5. The parking garage has a 2-meter height limit, which may not work for larger vehicles. 6. No in-room dining or room service available

I was looking for a lakeside hotel in central Zurich, and this property turned out to be a fantastic choice. The initial Deluxe Room I was given was spacious but not particularly large, and it faced the back of the building. The next day, I requested an upgrade to a front-facing, larger room – and even though the hotel was fully booked, the staff went above and beyond to accommodate my request. They offered me an absolutely stunning suite, which was worth every cent of the additional cost. The reception team was extremely helpful and welcoming throughout my stay. The suite itself was magnificent – with a breathtaking view of the lake. Located on a corner, it featured a circular layout with a large sitting area and even a dining table. It was elegant, spacious, and very comfortable. The hotel offers both street-side and indoor parking options, which are available for an additional fee – still very convenient, especially in Zurich. Breakfast was satisfying and served in a pleasant, stylish dining area. Everything was well-organized and fresh. If I return to Zurich, I would absolutely choose this hotel again without hesitation.

We expected a more refined and flavorful culinary experience. The room service meals were not particularly tasty, and the presentation felt a bit lacking. Similarly, the breakfast offerings, although adequate, could have been more flavorful and carefully prepared. For a hotel of this standard, we believe there is room for improvement in terms of taste, variety, and attention to detail in the kitchen. A more elevated dining experience would greatly enhance the overall guest satisfaction.

Beautiful hotel. Nicer than many 5 stars I've stayed at. The staff were friendly and very helpful. At least they cared, or good at pretending. Pillow selection was great, warm milk at night. The breakfast was good too. Lovely view across the road too. The gym was well maintained and clean. The bed was comfortable after I had a topper added. I'm used to a tempur memory foam mattress and struggle with spring beds these days. They made a real effort to make it more comfortable for me. Nothing was a problem

The location is beautiful. My only problem was that it was a little far from casual places to eat. There were many Asian and Italian dining, which I'm sick of, living in Sydney. I'm not a public transport fan, but for those that don't mind, its very convenient with trams etc...I prefer to walk everywhere, and in the evenings it was a little quiet and cool for a an old single woman to walk. It's not a real problem for the majority. You do have a good selection of fine dining, though, in the various hotels close by. The area is quiet and more residential.

location was perrrrrfect, I loved the interior, and the modernity of the hotel. For a four star hotel the standard was amazing and facilities like lighting, curtains, and room technology were great.

The restaurant wasn’t very clean, there was food left on the floor uncleaned after guests left. I was uncomfortable walking around with eggs on the floor. Same thing with food spatulas. I also had an inconvenient experience where I ordered room service and the card machine wasn’t working so they asked me to come all the way down to the restaurant while I was already in my pyjamas to settle the payment. I also didn’t like that the room didn’t have a lock, as a solo traveler I didn’t feel 100% safe, especially that the elevator didn’t require a card to enter the rooms.

We loved the balcony, the check in was very smooth and many of the staff extremely nice. Location was beautiful. We went to the opera and it was just a walk away.

Checkout experience was clunky. We informed the receptionist that we were checking out and going back to the rooms to get our luggage's. It was 10:30. We went back to the room and the room key didn't work. We were already on a hurry for a meeting at 11am. We went back to reception and she stated "of course, you just checked out". We would expect her to say "sorry for the inconvenience. you did mention you were getting back to the rooms and were on a hurry".

Reception staff were lovely, especially the young man who was so friendly and helpful at the front desk. Restaurant staff were good at re-setting tables when you left, they were not very observant for any requests you may have had or clearing the table when you had finished with your plates. I physically had to get up and ask for an omelette three mornings in a row as could not catch anyones eye. The omelette was lovely as was the chef when I did get it.

Better service needed for breakfasts.
