Comfortable room and good shower. Very nice quirky boutique hotel. View from window. Great location. TV in room had access to both bbc and itv!! A wee bonus for Corrie fans!! 😂 We enjoyed a very good breakfast beautifully presented and included in the room rate which is fast becoming a thing of the past in many hotels and was very much appreciated. Helpful staff both at breakfast and when we required to borrow an adaptor and a cork screw.

Female Receptionist remained far too long on a business call discussing upcoming bookings before ending to acknowledge guests waiting to book in.

I loved our room, it was beautifully decorated & spacious, the location was perfect and within walking distance of the old town, the bed was incredibly comfortable and the staff is amazing too.

Breakfast was a disaster, we have stayed for 3 nights over New Year ( very understaffed, and I felt sorry for the lady who worked alone with the place being very busy ), the selection of food was rather poor when compare to any other hotels we stayed at. I have requested a porridge for a child but was told they don't do porridge, on the next day they run out of toast. There was hardly any food.

I had comfortable and pleasant stay at Hotel Europe. Location is very good, you can reach city centre by feet or by public transport, stops are near. Bed was super comfortable and size was perfect. It was quiet at night. Also there were all amenities you could need as iron, slippers, hygiene things. Staff was friendly and responsive. I did enjoy breakfast, great coffee, all products were fresh and tasty.

There was no AC in the room. I stayed in the single room and shower was too small, it was difficult to move inside. As for shower cosmetics(shampoo, conditioner and body wash) I think would be nice to use more neutral fragrances, lavender was too strong for me and I couldn’t use it. There were no lights next to the mirror in the bathroom.

Beautiful hotel, great location, cleanliness.

We requested a cot to be placed in one of the rooms for my granddaughter who joined our trip shortly before we started out. The price for this was quite steep - 90 euro for an upgraded room even though the room was not an upgrade; it was the same room we had original reserved. In addition, we were charged another 50 euro for the cot. Because the room was not upgraded to a larger space, it was quite crowded. I do not think the 90 euro was a fair charge in this case. We left before the breakfast started as to catch our flight, so there was no cost to the hotel for this amenity either.

I requested a suite with a tub and the room was amazing and very European. Felt like we were in a castle. The balcony while on the side of the building was cool and we could see the river. The bed was comfy and the linens superb. Nice water and Nespresso. The restaurant and all the staff were excellent!

I was surprised no AC. Missed it in the info. They had lots of fans and we left the windows open which was fabulous. Could be hot if outside hot. We were on the 3rd floor, assuming it was hotter as you went up levels. The towels are fabulously big BUT had/stiff as boards. Like sandpaper. Unfortunately there was construction being done in the building beside our room and huge generators ran all day long. Normally you wouldn't notice too much; however, it was LOUD with the windows open. Thankfully they stopped at dinner.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room was very clean and furnished in an interesting style. The bedroom was spacious but the shower was cramped. The breakfast was lovely, nice variety and well presented.

Our room was very warm, despite it being overcast weather. There was no air con and it would be too hot in the middle of summer. Unfortunately there was a lot of construction in the street which started early in the day. We had to open the window to get air, but the noise was too loud it had to be shut. This spoilt an otherwise pleasant stay.

The room size, location, and staff were all excellent. The bathroom was clean and spacious, and breakfast was a pleasant experience with a good selection. The hotel has a great overall appearance, with tasteful renovations that really enhance the space. The location is also very convenient and well situated for exploring the area.

The reception area was not clearly marked, which made initial check-in confusing. The mattress was excessively firm and uncomfortable, and the pillows were too thin to provide adequate support. The room was uncomfortably warm throughout the night, despite efforts to lower the temperature and keeping the window open. A flat sheet would have been a helpful alternative to using the blanket,

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. The rooms were beautiful, comfortable, and larger than most euro standards. The staff was extremely helpful, they even gave us outlet converters to use when ours broke. The location of the hotel is ideal and quiet. We loved enjoying a cocktail and cappuccino on their restaurant patio. It's only one block from the lake, 6 min walk to the old town, and 10-15 walk to the HB train station. We will definitely stay here next time we are in Zurich!

Location is fantastic. Room was spacious and really well furnished. Large windows were very useful as there was no air conditioning. Front desk were able to source fans for us on our second day. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was really nice and included in our room rate. The scrambled eggs were made to order and delicious! Staff were really helpful and nice.

The lack of air conditioning is a real issue in Summer. This is an issue for all hotels in Zurich. That being the case, fans really should be provided as standard in every room in summer otherwise it is really hard to cool down the room and sleep.

Quaint and charming hotel right next to the Opera House. Loved the decor of the hotel rooms and the beds were super comfy. The location is perfect and within walking distance of most things in Zurich. A lovely buffet breakfast was included in our stay at the restuarant downstairs.

A nice addition would be a kettle with tea & coffee facilities. Also the lift is a bit finicky but I understand the hotel was undergoing renovations right after our stay so this might be rectified. The reception staff were lovely and very helpful.
