We booked our stay over New Years as we were visiting family nearby. We chose the larger room as we have a three year old that normally sleeps alone in a big boy bed. The check-in was unproblematic and the staff at the reception was very friendly. The garage feels safe and the spaces are comfortable. The room was pristine clean and spacious. We didn't use the kitchen. The bathroom was well equipped. The breakfast options were great: eggs, sausages, breads, cereal, yoghurt, fresh fruit, croissants, coffee, tea, juice.

There was limited storage in the room for clothes. There was one half-width wardrobe with no shelves (only hangers) and two more cabinets with no shelves above head height. The bed mattress was on the hard side and the pillows provided were way too soft for comfort. Luckily, the hotel had more options for pillows once we asked and we found something suitable.

Room was great - we got the junior suite and it was bang for the buck! We stayed more than a week and it helped to have a big room. The hotel is located less than a km from the tram stop, and 2 stops away from the airport (making it easy to get food at restaurants or purchase staples/basics at Migros). It is not far from the city center if you know how to work the trams and trains. Vika in reception and Miel at the bar were most helpful, making our stay so much more pleasant! We will definitely stay here again at our next visit.

The restaurant closes after breakfast and opens only at 6pm. It would help if they had even a sandwich bar from lunch to dinner time. For travelers who take siestas or need to rest from a hectic pace.

There is a free shuttle from the airport every 30 min during the day which is great. the driver sometimes leaves a bit early - My family almost missed the shuttle because he wanted to leave 2 minutes before time. The room is modern and comfortable, the smart switches can be annoying. you come for 1 night and it takes you a while to understand how they work. some instructions would be nice. breakfast was great! nearby supermarket

The shower stream is super weak, very annoying to shower this way. also it seems like the hot water is limited - so every time you want to turn the water hotter - it gets hot for 1 second and then gets colder again. I believe they may have configured some inside mixer to prevent "wasting" hot water. It takes a while to understand the right usage of all the switches. can be annoying

Excellent shuttle service. Very friendly and helpful staff. Windows did open, and the A/C came off when I did - which is much better for the environment and provides better air too. Modern, luxurious and tasteful design throughout.

Weir plug sockets in Switzerland and I had to wait 25 mins at reception to get an adaptor as a big group checked in just then. Would have been nice to be asked at arrival whether an adaptor was required, as plug sockets are standardised in most of Europe and I really didn't expect this. OR simply a modern solution where various plug sockets are inbuilt. No separate USB sockets were available.

It was really close to the airport, and the shuttle service was provided for free from the airport. It's only 5 Swiss franks back to the airport. The room is spacious and very clean, and the bed is very comfortable. The bathroom is perfect and spacious, with a great shower and a large vanity to place your travel products.

It could provide better seating options in the room. The faux leather chair was not comfortable. The pillows are too soft and have no support. So I suggest asking for more pillows. I wish the hotel could provide better instructions for operating their air conditioning unit.

The hotel room and bathroom are nice and clean, look updated, Staff is nice and kind, It is very easy to reach the tram for going to Zurich center. Shuttle service from and to the airport was very convenient and on time.

A small thing... The sink is too high (seems higher than standard) for people who are not tall, so it is not easy to reach the liquid soap dispenser on the wall (deep) behind the sink without leaning and wetting one's shirt... It would be much easier if the hotel could locate the dispenser closer - on the wall on the left or on the right. The hotel is relatively expensive.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. We had dinner and drinks the night before outside on the patio and although the trains could be a little loud, the staff was very efficient and friendly, the food was really good and the drinks were well priced.

Confusion for taxi vs shuttle in the morning. I asked for a taxi and the staff set this up for me the night before we departed, I paid and was told a time to be down in the morning. Never once mentioning that there was a shuttle that would take us to the airport. The next morning, we arrived per the time, asked for the taxi and staff questioned me - you mean a taxi or the shuttle? I said I paid for a taxi and he stated he would get one for me - which he did. I was then very surprised that the taxi driver demanded that I also pay him! Then it was a hassle to have to get the refund for the original taxi (or shuttle). It would have been helpful had both staff been clear about the shuttle and double checked when I said I paid and ordered a taxi the previous evening.

I didn’t have breakfast I loved the well stocked and cold free mini bar Saved me having to go downstairs when I was ill Really worth paying for the upgrade The location is good 5 minutes from Denner and other shops if you need them I like being able to hear the birds sing outside in the early morning The lady on reception was very welcoming and friendly.

The Air Con didn’t work Just blew warm air On this occasion that was ok as outside temperature was 10 degrees Was wondering if this very poor air con is normal? Maybe it was just one room? I would have found it really stuffy if it had been 20 degrees outside Also there was only 2 pillows in the room Would have liked more I could of course have called reception about these things , but I was unwell and needed to rest In my case was fine, as I was alone and could use the spare duvet as a pillow The room was very nicely laid out and easy to function in

Good size room. Very comfy bed, good shower and clean are our main criteria. All met. Great location with easy shuttle. All good prices. We alm ost paid twice as much for the Radisson at the airport. So pleased we changed for the Dorint. We will be staying again on the way back. The breakfast we exceptionally good and greasy value for Switzerland.

We were lucky arriving at a quiet time but later when lots were checking in there was no one to answer a couple of questions. The staff were all really good but appeared to be somewhat frazzled -and who wouldn’t be? Would love to see them a little more relaxed and welcoming after 2 days on airplanes and airports.

Everything was great. They had their 10th anniversary on our arrival night and had excellent complementary sweet treats for everyone. The airport shuttle service also worked out well. The only downside was the water temperature in the room/shower, the temp. was adjustable, but still wasn't properly hot.
