Excellent friendly welcoming staff. Although digital services were available, the service we received in person was most exceptional. The cleanliness of the Hotel and our room was 10/10, We were so surprised to hear the age of the Hotel, as we thought it was brand new - it was so clean. Our room was spacious, comfortable and had a large window with a view. Extra additions included: Free wi-fi, a working desk, fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. Located in the heart of Kloten. It was walking distance to the Zurich airport to visit the Airport viewing deck (a super cool outing) or a 5 min taxi ride to Zurich Airport/Bus station to continue our travel journey. Trains are available to travel to the city. There was a number of Supermarkets and fast - food outlets nearby. Domino Pizza was delicious. We definitely recommend this beautiful friendly Hotel, you won't be disappointed.

Great location, less than 5 mins by taxi from the airport or you could take the bus from the airport which will take you 5 mins to walk to the hotel and closest station is Kloten which was 5 mins walk. Plenty of supermarkets in the area and they have a breakfast buffet which I didn’t get the chance to try. The staff were very helpful and had agreed to store my luggage while I travelled to different places in Switzerland for free!! They were very generous and kind to deal with. The room was big, comfortable and we even had a balcony. A great experience and I would definitely use this hotel again when I need one near the airport. Highly recommended!!!

Nothing I didn’t like.

Loved how close the hotel was to the airport(5 min drive) and that we could walk to restaurants/shops. There is also a bakery across the street if you wanted to get breakfast. We had an early morning flight, so did not go here but walked by it and looked fabulous. We had a rental car and were able to park for free. Room was clean. We read some reviews saying it was spacious. Maybe by European standards, but to us being from American, it was small. Especially the bathrooms. The shower area and toilet area were two separate rooms and very small. There is a kettle in the room for tea and Nescafe packet coffee. (I tried this and dumped down the sink, it was so horrible, but appreciate that there was something). Also a complimentary bottle of still water was in the room, as well as a small refrigerator. Washcloths were provided, which is a rarity in Europe. The room was perfect for us to overnight before a flight from Zurich back to the USA.

The bathroom was very small. Packet coffee was terrible.

The Hotel Welcome Inn is my go-to place when overnighting for a flight out of Zurich Airport the next day. Prices are generally very reasonable and the location is perfect--a 5 minute walk from the Kloten Bahnhof and an easy bus trip the next morning to the airport. Rooms are comfortable and clean, Wifi works great. There are bakeries, a nice Migros and a brand new Coop grocery (perfect for last minute chocolate shopping), and restaurants a block away making it a very convenient stay. Staff is very friendly and speak a variety of languages. Property photos are accurate.

Enjoyed my stay at the Welcome Inn immensely, would definitely recommend it, choose it again when I have a night or 2 in Zurich 👍 convenient, close to the airport, was able to take the city bus, took about 10 mins. Also very close walk to the train into Zurich central station. Room was quiet, had window that could be opened, was offered add’l blanket & pillows. Always were fresh apples on the concierge/front desk. Receptionist stayed long past her designated finish time to wait for clients arriving after 8pm (I arrived just past 8pm) found the young woman at reception incredibly helpful, generous-hearted, kind and friendly 🤙🙏👌

Kloten train station was in short walking distance. The airport is also nearby. Reception called taxi which arrived early and got me to the airport quickly. Once, I even walked to the airport from here - about 1.5 km on a safe path. I've stayed here many times. The room is consistently clean and comfortable. A great bakery is across the street for a simple meal. There is also an Aldi and Migros neary if needed. Overall I would recommend a stay here. I have not eaten the breakfast or at the restaurant in the building so cannot comment.

It is very quiet , the residents keep to their rooms at night without disturbing others . The towels are provided and including a washing cloth changed daily . There is an option for breakfast too . They provided a kettle and small fridge in the room .There are grocery shops , coop and migros 100m away . It is 5 minute walk to the train station. The staff is friendly too

It was in December cold weather (winter season ) -there was no blanket available in the room .

Location was great. Only 3 minute walk to train station. Close to restaurants, groceries and bus as well. Room was clean and comfortable. Selection of breakfast was good. I enjoyed the coffee machine with hot chocolate.Very nice to have fruit available at the front desk.

The shower head holder in our room was broken which made it hard to shower and the seal under the door was hanging off so water leaked from the shower. I think we were in room 314.

Have stayed here several times. It's always clean and comfortable. If necessary, I could walk the 1.5km to the airport. I miss the shuttle service but a taxi was 18sfr and arrived earlier than expected. There is a nice bakery just across the street for a light meal and there are lots of shops within a few blocks walking distance. The hotel is also a short walk from the Kloten train station. There is also a restaurant on site but I did not use it so cannot comment, but I find that convenient.

Excellent and very comfortable stay. The area has lots of restaurants / cafes, and 3 large grocery stores. And excellent bakery across the street. This hotel was probably one of our most comfortable stays on our Switzerland / Austria trip. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Very little wrong here. The beds a little on the soft side. The breakfast selection is limited, but priced accordingly.
