Staying for 15 days for a work trip in Zurich and love this solution. Great location, spotless, equipped. Having a rooftop room, bright and silent (room 407). Parking easy to find (public 15fr per day or flat’s parking 20fr/day), great transports connections, supermarket right in front. Washing machines at disposal. Modern, great value, a coffee machine at the entrance. Great shutters. The cherry on the top of the cake is the sir running this place & his staff: incredibly kind, polite, always available. I even have found my laundry done & dried when back from work! Had I known this place before, I wouldn’t have spent my money on hotels:) Recommend and can’t wait to be back.

The announcement says “parking” but doesn’t say it is not included and this is a bit misleading (20fr/day). The coffee machine & washing machine works only with 1fr coins which means you pay always more than what you use. Receptionists always available during the day, you can easily change the coins with them.

It’s in a fantastic location, safe quiet & easily reached by an amazing public transport system or you can walk to the city centre. The lake is also just a few minutes walk. Restaurants bars shops & supermarkets all on your doorstep. The property is very clean with a well equipped kitchen. Plenty hot water, with towels & sheets changed frequently. The gentleman on reception was very kind & friendly.

There wasn’t much I didn’t like really. The room got quite warm at night without a/c, we were glad of the fan provided. The balcony is not suitable for 3 (there were 3 of us) as only 2 chairs can fit.

Compact apartments, with full kitchen in living area, bathroom, and bed/living space. Quiet area, secure, immediately adjacent to main bus and tram lines, two supermarkets, and a post office. From the main railway station it's a simple No.4 tram trip. Laundry facilities are a guest laundry with several washers and driers. The four-level apartments are a mix of rented apartments (7) and privately occupied. Focused on-site manager 0900-1630 with excellent English, for whom nothing was a problem - really helpful. Excellent sound proofing. Smallest lift I have ever seen (240kg or 3 people) but it does what is needed.

Better washer instructions would have helped. A room fan would be useful.

Location is perfect, good value for money.

Difficult to book a one bed room as they are very few available. Rate should be based on number of occupants instead of beds. I found the beds too small … Bathroom has most of the time a bathtub less practical than a shower tray… just keep in mind in case you have access issue. Unfortunately you can hear some noise coming from rooms next to yours or from the floor above.. fortunately not from outside…

Good info in advance. Easy to find and get to (#2 or 4 tram from city). Smooth automated check-in but staff on-site. Working lift to apartment. Relatively spacious apartment with twin beds but perhaps too much furniture, esp. the very large coffee. Clean, tidy and fairly quiet. Kitchen was well equipped, incl. toaster, dish cloth and detergent. Shower and wifi were good, bed OK. Fan but no aircon. Shutters to block out early sun and heat. Good laundry in basement. Coop supermarket across the road; Migros a block further. Beautiful lakefront and swimming 5-10 minutes walk down the street. Short walk or tram ride to city centre. Would stay again noting comments below - and considering proximity to lake and city and facilities and cleanliness.

It was 30+ degrees C when we stayed. Our room was hot, esp as it faced west. No aircon but there was a fan that helped, but still hot. The beds were comfortable but hot at night - I think they was some kind of foam rubber overlay. There was some noise from outside, esp. from 6 am, as there were recycling bins, roads and a supermarket. The windows closed out most of the noise if shut, but this reduced airflow when it was very hot. You had to make a trade-off. These should not be issues when the weather is cooler. You are encouraged to recycle, which is commendable, but no dedicated bin or clear instructions, esp. for paper. That said, there are plenty of recycling bins outside (except for paper).

We loved the location in a lovely residential neighborhood just a couple of blocks from the lake. We walked everywhere, but trams and buses stopped nearby. There was a supermarket on the corner and the kitchenette was in good condition. We liked having breakfast on the balcony looking out at a nice green space. The beds were very comfortable, and the room was quiet and clean.

There was no coffee maker in the room, but there is a coffee machine in the lobby. If one asks at the reception desk, one can get a coffeemaker for the room. I would put a sign in the room suggesting that people request things that might be missing, as the staff was very friendly and willing to lend things out that way, e.g. a plug, a safe...

- Great location, near public transports, supermarket, botanic garden and also a nice park by the water. - Well equipped with good basics to cook and TV. - Clean room, and beds were very comfortable. - We appreciated the little balcony. - Pickup and drop off of the key was very easy with the blue box at the entrance.

Just a few things to improve: - Some extra blankets would have been nice, we got cold in the middle of the night. - We didn't have shower gel, only shampoo and hand soap. - Some plug sockets by the bed would have been convenient. - The coffee machine on the hallway downstairs was not working. - We almost didn't see any staff during our stay, which actually would have been helpful to ask for some shower gel.

The location was great for my week long work trip to Zurich - it was very easy to access the Old Town and ETH by tram (<10 mins). The rooms were simple, but clean and comfortable. The grocery store was 2 mins walk away, which was exceptionally convenient. Given how expensive things were in Zurich, I thought Seefeld Residenz was very well priced for what you get.

It was mid to low 20 degrees Celsius during my stay, so the room was a little warm at night. Sleeping with the windows open made it perfectly comfortable, but on Friday night the street was a little noisy. All other nights I didn't notice the noise. If you're a light sleeper this may be something to consider. Otherwise, no complaints.

The location is great, close to the tram, or 15 minutes walk to the opera. Check in and out is very easy and practical. We needed a socket conversor and the staff immediately arranged it. Clean and comfortable, with a kitchenette with all the items you may need for a short stay. We felt at home! Would definitely come back.

There is only a very small lift, so I guess accessibility can be a bit compromised if chair wheels are needed. Which wasn't the case, just trying to help others.

Fantastic location. Across the street from a grocery store, a pharmacy, and the streetcar station. 5 minute walk from Lake Zurich. 10 minute walk from Alstadt, Old Town, and surrounded by shops and cafes and restaurants. I could not have asked for a better location. Also, the entire staff was kind and helpful, especially Marley...Thanks Marley.

I overlooked the fact that there is no air conditioning, but with the windows open and the fan, it was manageable.
