It is a modern building with all required facilities. The hotel is just 50 meters away from the tram halt and not 4 minutes walk as mentioned in the website. The tram is connected to Zurich main Railway station and Zurich Airport. The hotel is new and hence very clean and tidy. The price is reasonable . Will book again if we pass by Zurich.

Found only one small problem. The hotel is situated near the landing runway and hence slight noise from 6 am when these flights begin to land every 5 minutes. Noticed that they have triple glass window which reduces the noise to minimum. Good sleepers will not hear the noise .

If you know Ibis, you know Ibis. Think of it as a squeaky-clean, no-nonsense European hostel. You get a private bathroom, though just barely. Everything is functional and the space is well thought-out. Light switches are all in the right places. Just as the supermarket is the key to budget eating in overpriced Switzerland, the airport is the secret to budget lodging in Zurich. This location is 5 minutes by tram from ZRH airport and ~30 minutes to central Zurich. To go downtown, you can also backtrack to the airport and to catch the speed train to Zurich main station and shave a few minutes. All in all, not bad. Everything runs on time in Switzerland and the tram stop is across the street from the hotel. The airport also has a couple full-service supermarkets, a food court, and a shopping mall.

The location is not bad if you want to budget or have a flight in or out, but there really is nothing right around the hotel. You'd have to go to the airport, the next suburb, or the city.

The whole atmosphere was very welcoming. Loved the lobby area. Great breakfast, the one morning we opted for that. The rooms are small, but it was fine for us. Remember to pack light! An added bonus, was having a mini-laundromat in the lobby area for a very reasonable cost. The room also had a community hot pot for heating water. Everything was kept very clean. Staff was VERY attentive!

Minor...but hair dryer kept cutting out...apparently a common problem. Fun LED lighting options in the room, but some didn't work.

I have stayed here many times and it's a great location for early starts from Zurich airport. So nice to just jump on a tram and not have to book shuttle buses like many of the more expensive airport hotels. Shower is great. Food options onsite are limited but you are 5 minutes from the airport so this isn't an issue.

As always the pillows are awful. One wafer thin pillow per person - I just ask for extra when I check in now. This was my first time trying their online 'express' checkin and I was excited to use this as the queues on arrival are always long. Sadly all this means is they just check your documents when you arrive - there is no dedicated line and it does not speed the process up at all. In future I wouldn't bother with it.

Excellently located, a few minutes from the airport via tram. We were 3 people and the space was enough for 1 night. We didnt take breakfast. A kettle and washing machine available close to the reception area. There are no places closeby to have food unless you go to the airport or into the city. The tram takes 40 minutes to get to the old city in one straight ride. Otherwise you go back to the airport and take a train which is marginally quicker. I thought zurich was quite boring and I am glad I didnt spend much time there. This was adequate for 1 night, if more than 1 night you might want more room.

The room was quite hot, the air condition was not on. Even though we opened the window, I could have done with a fan

Our flight back to london from zurich was at 11am. So we decided to go to zurich a day before so we wont be too rushed going back. We opted to stay somewhere nearby the airport because our accommodation was initially in lauterbrunnen. Location is very close to the airport, very close to transportation as well. Amenities were good and clean. Friendly staff.

We arrived there at the end of July, so was a bit warm. I am not sure about how well the airconditioning was working, but I hope it would allow for cooler settings. The instructions did say to open the windows if temperatures reach 23C. But then you hear the airplanes going by which was noisy. I hope the ariconditioning can be made cooler specially during summer months.

The room was smartly planned, even though it was super compact it had all faciliies like a study table, a cloth hanger (if i remember correctly). a bunk bed, the lower bed could fit 2 people and the upper bed could fit 1. There were lights on top of both beds. There was a bathroom and a toilet room inside the room. The bathroom had hot water and the toilet room had a toilet brush which was great. The staff was super approachable and clear with the instructions, there were facilities like laundry, glass cups, seating, vending machines in the lobby. We could even buy adapters if required - this really helped us!

The room is super compact, opening two large suitcases is also a bit of a struggle. I had expected this before booking though.The air cooling can be better.

Close enough to the airport and a good place to rest our heads during a long layover, and the most affordable of course. As a family of 4, we paid ~15 CHF for an Uber each way to get us there and back. As for the room, it's very small but clean, and technically we weren't supposed to be 4 persons in it, but it worked fine for our youngest to sleep with us in the bigger (double sized) bed, and the guy was understanding at the front desk. We just booked for 3 and figured it out upon arrival.

Quite small room without much privacy, as the shower is right there next to the bed and not in a separate bathroom. AC didnt work well either, so we cracked the window but then had to deal with the repeated sound of planes flying right overhead from 5am onward.

My wife and I were returning to the U.S. and needed a convenient place to stay before getting our flight early the next day. This Ibis budget hotel meet all our expectations. Check-in was easy. The room was in great condition, clean and the hotel itself was only two Tram stops from Zurich airport. Staff was friendly and respectful. Only issue was no supply of restaurants close by. BUT, as I stated there are only two trams stops from the airport and many places to eat if you need food. Breakfast started at 5AM for early departures and open until 10AM for late sleepers. Most inexpensive hotel in the area. It met our expectations without a doubt.

The only thing was no or maybe limited places to eat, but if you need a real good place to stay the day before early flights,, IT IS THE BEST IN OUR OPINION

I was in for a quick one night stay. The room was clean, cool and enough space for one person comfortably. The bed was comfortable and a nice shower. That's all I really needed. It was an unusually warm day in Zurich (36 degrees) and my room stayed nice and cool, which was brilliant. The staff was helpful and very quick. Overall it was a great stay.

It was a room with two single beds, which is fine because I am one person, but on the head of the bed there is a small wooden divider that is not removable between the two mattresses. I found it an odd placement and shape and I kept hitting my hands/arm on it as I moved through the night. I don't see the benefit of having it there.
