It is a modern building with all required facilities. The hotel is just 50 meters away from the tram halt and not 4 minutes walk as mentioned in the website. The tram is connected to Zurich main Railway station and Zurich Airport. The hotel is new and hence very clean and tidy. The price is reasonable . Will book again if we pass by Zurich.

Found only one small problem. The hotel is situated near the landing runway and hence slight noise from 6 am when these flights begin to land every 5 minutes. Noticed that they have triple glass window which reduces the noise to minimum. Good sleepers will not hear the noise .

If you know Ibis, you know Ibis. Think of it as a squeaky-clean, no-nonsense European hostel. You get a private bathroom, though just barely. Everything is functional and the space is well thought-out. Light switches are all in the right places. Just as the supermarket is the key to budget eating in overpriced Switzerland, the airport is the secret to budget lodging in Zurich. This location is 5 minutes by tram from ZRH airport and ~30 minutes to central Zurich. To go downtown, you can also backtrack to the airport and to catch the speed train to Zurich main station and shave a few minutes. All in all, not bad. Everything runs on time in Switzerland and the tram stop is across the street from the hotel. The airport also has a couple full-service supermarkets, a food court, and a shopping mall.

The location is not bad if you want to budget or have a flight in or out, but there really is nothing right around the hotel. You'd have to go to the airport, the next suburb, or the city.

The whole atmosphere was very welcoming. Loved the lobby area. Great breakfast, the one morning we opted for that. The rooms are small, but it was fine for us. Remember to pack light! An added bonus, was having a mini-laundromat in the lobby area for a very reasonable cost. The room also had a community hot pot for heating water. Everything was kept very clean. Staff was VERY attentive!

Minor...but hair dryer kept cutting out...apparently a common problem. Fun LED lighting options in the room, but some didn't work.

I was in for a quick one night stay. The room was clean, cool and enough space for one person comfortably. The bed was comfortable and a nice shower. That's all I really needed. It was an unusually warm day in Zurich (36 degrees) and my room stayed nice and cool, which was brilliant. The staff was helpful and very quick. Overall it was a great stay.

It was a room with two single beds, which is fine because I am one person, but on the head of the bed there is a small wooden divider that is not removable between the two mattresses. I found it an odd placement and shape and I kept hitting my hands/arm on it as I moved through the night. I don't see the benefit of having it there.

The proximity between the airport and the hotel made this decision a no-brainer. The hotel reception we received was so warm and friendly that it made the whole experience seamless. After a long overnight flight with a long layover, we were deeply relieved that we could have an early check in to shower and rest before heading out again. We had the pleasure of a room on the highest floor complete with a view overlooking the airport. The room was beautifully designed and well suited for couples. The ease of travel between the hotel and Amsterdam Centraal was less than 20 minutes with a regular frequency of trains. We were truly happy we made this choice. No lugging around heavy luggages through crowded trains and trams to and fro had we stayed at a hotel in Amsterdam Centraal. Plus we didn't have to rush through traffic and crowds in trains/trams in the early morning to catch our flight out of Amsterdam. The hotel rates for the proximity, views and ease of amenities are definitely value for money. We would stay here again if we were to come back to Amsterdam in the future.

Though they do provide hot water and other perks, we had to go down to the hotel "pantry" every time we needed it.

Only one entry key per room so if one person left the room the other was left in the dark (keycard operates lights). Bathroom has no ventilation and lights are motion activated so if one partner gets up at night, the light is bright for the other person trying to sleep . Rooms are small so there’s very little floor space for two suitcases. Also there’s only one chair; second person can sit in bed but there is only one pillow per person so not enough support to lean comfortably on headboard.

This hotel was just right for my overnight in Zurich before travelling on. It is only two tram stops from the airport yet there was little or no noise. It had excellent soundproofing both from inside as well as outside. It seems that every detail had been thought about so that travellers needs can be met without costing a fortune, from a variety of food and drink available and laundry facilities. All the staff were friendly and polite, and that created a relaxed atmosphere.

Can't think of much to criticise. Be aware that it is an airport hotel so you would have to go further into the centre to find city life with cafes and restaurants. One small detail in the room is that perhaps a small rail in the toilet, near the door frame, would help the less mobile.

The hotel and our room were clean and all as advertised. Would definitely recommend for lower budgets as Zurich is expensive. Getting to the centre is very easy and quick. Not much space in our room for three people but it did the job. Excellent location for town and airport, helpful staff, easy check in and check out. Simple breakfast but nice seating area. Hotel and area felt very safe.

Nothing really. It's what it says on the tin, budget without the frills and extra comforts. Maybe some extra pillows would have been nice for sitting in the bed as It's kind of the only place to sit. But we didn't ask for pillows and the may provide them if asked. Free tea and coffee facilities for guests would have been nice. Our 13 year old had difficulties getting out of the bunk bed because of the high edge boards and low ceiling. I would open up the end of the bunk bed by the ladder as It's not made for young children anyway.

Ok size, clean Room. Minimal facilities. Pretty standard for an Ibis budget. A few tram stops from the airport. You see the hotel on the right hand side before getting off.

Basin was small. Limited storage space. No shelves, just a few hooks and bedside is just larger than the size of a phone. Shower and toilet are just built ins (again pretty standard for Ibis budget) Dim lighting A few tram stops from the airport. However, my flight was 7am and trams didn't start until 6am so I walked about 25mins to the airport. Not the hotels fault but more FYI

The front desk man was for some reason nasty. People around us were getting upper floor rooms, he gave us a basement location. We are elderly couple, we have not give him any trouble, we patiently waited in line, for some reason he did not like us. He was not a Swiss born, maybe he did not like Americans. I objected to the basement location so he gave us a ground floor room instead. He told me, the rooms are all the same. I like to sleep with an open window. On the ground floor that was not possible. Next year we will travel to Zurich again, we will not choose Ibis than.
