Good location: 8 min far from airport by bus and 10 min from city center by train from Glattbrugg station. Very quiet, good noise insulation, had a very good sleep in spite of the airport proximity. Very comfy beds with good quality linen. Clean, spacious, nice smelling toiletries, more toiletries available free of charge upon request from reception. Huge TV screen. Mini fridge with a selection of welcome drinks: beer, cola, apple fizzy juice, water. The hotel has a spa/wellness facility but we didn't have time to try it. Kind and polite staff at the reception. Breakfast available at extra cost but we didn't try it. Opposite there is a wonderful libanese (?) restaurant with excellent food at great prices (not like downtown).

Second stay at this hotel to spend one night close to the airport before departing. The location is great. Also close to Kloten if you’d like to have a nice dinner. Staff was very nice at arrival and helped us with parking. Thanks! Room and bathroom are clean and large enough, comfortable. They offer water and other drinks in the room free of charge. Cool large TV.

We had an issue with the heater at around 9pm and couldn’t figure out how to lower the temperature so ended up opening the window - and listening to several airplanes take off. We tried calling the staff using the room phone but nobody answer. Tried calling the line with my cell, same thing. It’s really ok for a nightly stay.

Location of this hotel is very good--less than 10 minutes from the airport by Bus #768 and this bus also takes you to the train station, Zurich Oerlikon, which is a transfer point to the Zurich HB. There are also a Coop and Migros supermarket outlets within 2 blocks of the hotel as well as doner and pizza restaurants.

Having housekeeping knocking on my door on the day of check-out at 9:00 AM when checkout was clearly advertised as UNTIL 12:00 PM. Everything in Zurich is VERY expensive. Taking that into account, this hotel is fairly reasonable but probably not worth what they are charging. Also, the "front desk" is a table in the lobby and it was not staffed regularly. This resulted in not being able to always get information that is usually available at the reception area in hotels.

I had 1 night at the hotel. Based on my previous experiences with hotels in Swiss in this price ranges this was the best one. Near to the airport, 4 station with the tram 10 or 12 from the airport to Glatburg Station. 5 minutes walk. Modern hotel. Tram 10 goes directly to the city centre. Free mini bar on the arriving day! Nice staff. Bar, gym. Easy check out, left the key card in the Box. Modern room. Big screen TV with screen shares.

Very nice hotel located slightly over 20 mins by tram from the main station in Zurich. Very convenient for coming with a car, too, has a comfortable small parking lot in the garage. The room is small but sufficient with extremely comfortable beds. Free mini bar in the room is a nice touch. You can hear the airport close by with your windows open, but once closed it is rather quiet. The staff at the reception is super helpful and very responsive to messages (we had some problems on the way, we arrived very, very late, they kindly waited for us). The late check in is convenient, for a sensible fee you can even extend it. The possibility to bring your pets is absolutely amazing!

Budget-friendly option. Didn't have the breakfast, but do know it was available. Central location, lots of options around for food and activities, and close to airport (just a few minute drive or a short bus). Staff friendly and at least bilingual. Late check out time is great for those with later afternoon flights.

Close enough to the airport that the planes coming and going are pretty noisy. Room was a little dingy, the type you see in older buildings, not awful. Mattress sinks quite a bit; feels almost like you're going to fall off if you're sitting up, even if you're a foot back from the edge.

I must have booked at a lucky time but the room was large, comfortable and very good value for money. Its out of the city centre but there are still lots of shops, restaurants and supermarkets nearby, overall a nice area. Its located 2 minutes away from a bus stop and just under 10 minutes walk for a 10 minute train journey to the city centre. I would certainly recommend it.

Aeroplanes in the morning but this has to be expected as its fairly close to the main airport.

I stayed for one night only. At check-in I was treated in a friendly and professional manner. The gentleman who checked me in was very knowledgeable about the area and the transportations available. My room was very clean. The bed was amazingly comfortable. The free beverages from the minibar is a nice touch and very thoughtful. Especially when a visitor like me visits Zurich for the first time and I didn't know where to get a bottle of water. Nice touch! I didn't have breakfast there because I preferred getting a cappuccino nearby. The hotel is very conveniently located in a short walking distance from a train and tram station. On the way back to the airport I travelled by tram and it took me less than 10 minutes to the airport. It took be about 5 minutes to get to tram station from the hotel. There is also a supermarket nearby called COOP which adds value to the stay. I would stay at Dormero again without a doubt. Great job!!!!

I stayed in room 306 facing the street. It was't a big deal to me BUT I wanted to sleep with the window open and the street noise prevented me from doing so. However once the window was shut, there was zero noise. Other than that, everything else was excellent and I would stay at Dormero again. I highly recommended it.

Had everything I needed and free water bottles. I slept well and the mattress was good. Everything was clean and beautiful decor. Very convenient to the airport by bus. Loved the very hot water! The front desk staff was very helpful in giving advice on how to get downtown by train. Loved the bunnies! I did not use the exercise room because I was afraid of the opposite sex coming in and stripping down naked for the sauna right next to it since it says it's co-ed and you must use it naked. All in all, I would stay there again.

Walls needed paint downstairs, looked all scraped up and bad downstairs.
