Large rooms and bathrooms, very comfortable beds. Great shower and quick easy check in and out. We appreciated the free shuttle at 4am which went every twenty minutes. We flew at a different time to our daughter so we were able to take her to the airport then return for a late checkout before our flight. Also easy acres via the tram and trains at night for exploring the city. Only one tram stop from the airport and 2 minutes walk from the hotel to the tram station, about 8 stops to Zurich central.

Room Quality: The room was clean and comfortable - nothing extraordinary, but good enough for a short stay. Receptionist: Despite the initial wait, the receptionist was professional and efficient when they finally appeared. Overall Experience: For a short overnight stay, it was decent, and I left with positive feelings overall.

Parking Issues: Finding parking late at night was a frustrating experience. The lack of clear instructions or accessible temporary parking near the entrance made the situation worse. It was messy, with numerous buses, cars. Reception Delay: Waiting ages for a receptionist late at night was not ideal, especially after a long trip.

Excellent location and very easy to navigate. The restaurant menu is somewhat limited, but it is the staff experience that makes this property. There is the somewhat cliche slogan “we make moments” on each name badge, but the two main interactions I had from this were exceptional. Alexey on reception was intelligent, polite, and gave so much more than the typical check-in experience. For a weary traveller of two weeks he was engaging, genuinely interested in where I was from, and showed real care in sharing information. Later, in the hotel lobby bar, Josipa delivered some of the best hospitality service in my entire trip. She ensured the sports game I wanted to watch was available on the hotel system, set my colleague and I up brilliantly to watch it, and despite not understanding the rules of the game continued to manage the bar as well as showing a genuine learning interest in what we were excited about. This made my entire trip, and visiting this hotel again on my travels will be a priority purely from the services these two professionals provided.

There’s a musty odour in some of the corridors, but I expect this is more from it being closed up tight for the winter cold.

We chose the Mövenpick Airport Zürich because of its location - close to the airport- and its F&B reputation (b’fast & dinner). It did not disappoint, dinner (fillet tartare, burgers) was excellent and the b’fast buffet very nice indeed - although I had been hoping a bit for a Mövenpick Marché-kind of set up; I would also have welcomed a more culinary varied buffet, p’haps w. South, Southeast or East Asian accents - maybe not outlandish considering the multinational, policultural traveller community which transits through the Mövenpick Zürich Airport.

The rooms could benefit from a bit of an electrical update: more, and more conveniently located / accessible charging ports (USB, C-type, power).

I always liked Mövenpick hotels and restaurants. Years ago when I lived in Italy, we would always stop at the first Movenpick over the border in Switserland for a decent cup of coffee and Kuchen on our way to Germany. There was always one conveniently located along the Autobahn and one could always count on a comfortable stay, good food and convenience . This one, even though it was way out by the airport, was conveniently located close to the tram into town. Breakfast, although not included , was plentiful and offered everything one could possibly wish for. Even though low flying aircraft made a lot of noise outside, inside the room it was perfectly quiet . We checked in early, before our room was ready, but they had a secure room to store our luggage. All very well organized.

The reception desk was understaffed , a nd there were always long lines , making it difficult to even ask a question. The airport shuttle had a weird schedule with a big hiatus after noon, so we had to take a taxi

It was conveniently located and a reasonable price. Clean, large comfortable rooms. Overall a great place to stay and good value.

The only thing was the smell of the rooms. We asked to change rooms as to me it smelled of stale cigarettes. We moved but the new room smelled similar and I think it was just that it hadn’t had the windows opened much as the noise of traffic was Klondike with the with window opened much. Overall thought it was just fine.

This hotel is conveniently located near Zurich Airport. Its shuttle to the airport is available. However, for some strange reason, the shuttle does not run between noon and 4 PM.

The staff is friendly. When I checked in, my credit card was charged twice, even though I had paid in full days before. They assured me that the charges would disappear from my credit card transactions after I checked out. I have to see if that happens. I can understand charging a token of 100 CHF to cover pending charges. But charge 100 CHF and a day's room rate when you have already paid in full.

Location was excellent and useful for an early morning flight out of Zurich. Their free shuttle service which runs every 20 minutes from 4.00 am was our deciding factor in choosing this hotel.

The room was comfortable in all aspects except the air conditioning which was centrally controlled and was too hot. Despite 3 requests for this to be addressed the temperature in our room remined uncomfortably hot.
