Generally the youth hostels are really nice, the breakfast is really good, the staff is really polite and can help you with everything even with annoying roommates.

The toilet area was extremely cold. It is kinda far away from the center, definitely you need the public transport. I don't know why Zürich doesn't have a Guest card for hostel users. The best way to get to hostel is by bus. The nearest train station is very low from the level of the main street so if you need to bring suitcases it is almost suicidal to do it that way.

The Hostel is great for a city as Zurich. 1. Located in a good neighborhood - not really central, but about 1h walking from the train station, or, alternatively, 10 minutes by train. 2. Very good price considering that delicious breakfast is included. 3. Comfortable and very large, full of different options to spend the time around.

Bathrooms could be cleaner and smelling better.

It was great, in a very attractive suburb of Zurich, with great views of the mountains and good facilities (beds, shower, food, washing machines etc all fine) really good, 24/7 friendly staff! And the great majority of people who I met (from all around the world) were great. I had one roommate who kept on smoking in our room, which I complained about and this was dealt with, but there was a bit of tension between us for a little while, however, this was also soon resolved too! And I left on good terms with everyone, after an excellent 7 days stay!

It’s probably a 10-15 minute journey back from the centre of Zurich via the train and trams, which is great! But about a 50-60 minutes walk, which meant you couldn’t have a late night out with your friends on say a Wednesday or Thursday as the transport, finishes at midnight. Secondly the laundry services (washing machines, tumble dryer etc), were fine to use once you had gotten used to how they worked! It took me a few turns to really get the tumble dryer working well! There are instructions in there, which help, but it still wasn’t straightforward! I did get all my clothes washed and dried very well eventually, but it took a few hours!

Our overnight stop off here made me remember all that is great about youth hosteling. The vibe was so warm and friendly. The staff at reception were super helpful and welcoming and the place was spotless including the shared bathroom facilities. We had a great night’s sleep in a private family room, enjoyed the dinner and breakfast immensely and also spent time in the comfortable communal area playing games and table tennis. It wasn’t far at all from a few public bathing spot on the lake too!

Nothing really - just a ‘heads up’ it is up a bit of a hill from the tram stop! No biggie just keep in mind if you have lots of luggage! This would not put us off from returning!

Well located, with a spacious area to chill with a book or your phone, or with friends. Nice breakfasts, but only with cold dishes. I really appreciated the staff - super helpful, and helped me with buying some tickets for museums. The room was very well organised - I stayed in a 6 person one, but the entry corridor to the room was equipped with 2 sinks, making it easier to get ready while not disturbing your roommates. The same corridor contains lockers which you open and close with your hotel card - perfect solution, I would love to see it in more hostels (so that you don't need to rely on a padlock).. The bathrooms were clean and showers are closed for full privacy. You just need your own toiletries (except soap in toilets). .

I would prefer to pay for renting a towel, instead of leaving my ID for the entirety of my stay at the reception.

Clean and tidy. The staff are friendly. It looks quite distant from downtown, but one can travel easily by bus/tram in around 20 mins. Breakfast is nice. You can also buy a dinner set for around 20CHF, and it's really delicious. Recommended to all travelers on a budget.

1.Hairdryers can be borrowed at the counter with your ID card/passport, but I'd prefer that they place one in each floor's restroom, for example. It seems like they're afraid of hairdryers being stolen. 2.Maybe more motion sensors for the lights in the restroom (at least the female restroom in 5th floor) would be helpful... :|

The whole hostel is very cool actually there people around the world, it's full of travelers which allows socializing. Despite it was away from the city center the hostel's scenery is great, green, peaceful. I checked in during midnight and the staff was there, friendly and helpful.

It's kinda bit away from the center, you can walk for like 20 minutes. But there is a direct train line to the bahnhof and the airport. Beds were a little too small, narrow. Lockers were not working properly but I didn't experience anything bad. Wifi was not strong.

The staff were super friendly and knowledgeable providing me with information for alternative things to do in Switzerland when my plans changed last minute. Breakfast was also good and you’ve got nearby bus and train services within a 10 min walk which was really handy.

Some curtains in the rooms would’ve been nice for an element of privacy. Also I was only on the first floor but the rooms would’ve were still very warm even at night as there was no air circulation in the rooms.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The community place was spacious, comfortable with good atmosphere. Moreover, there was a lot of bus stops (with ticket machine at every stop) and supermarkets so it's very convenient. Although there were a lot of slopes, the road was made of cement so walking is not a big issue.

The train station and tram stop is not too far, but we have to walk on slopes so it's a little inconvenient when travelling with heavy suitcases. The bathroom and WC has automatic lights, but it turns off if you're in the toilet too long.
