We chose the hotel primarily because of the design and the location - and everything was just as we expected. The fifa museum is right next door and definitely a must visit on your trip to Zurich. The design was impeccable - from rooms to lobby - everything was stylish and pleasing. Hamid and other members of the hotel team were always friendly and helpful. And yes, the bed was just Royal! Not just for us, but also for our son - the bedsheets for the baby cot were amazing. Little details that really matter.

The breakfast was very poor, there was a coffee machine and a tiny tiny buffet with croissants and yoghurts. Didn’t really understand why there was no choice of hot options such as omelettes, charcuterie, etc. tried to order something extra from the waiters but they never came. Also it was quite sad that the bar didn’t work in the evenings when we came for drinks. Such a beautiful renovation of the restaurant and bar has been made and is totally underused. Could be a great spot for drinks in such ambience. The Studio room we booked was beautiful but note that it’s very tiny. Better to book a bigger room if you are traveling with a family. Also no amenities such as toothbrushes or slippers in the room but that’s a minor thing.

The location was perfect as I was working at the Museum Rietberg, just 10 minutes walk away. The proximity to the station is excellent too and easy to get to the centre or to the airport. I loved the room and felt completely relaxed and at home. The blackout curtains, lack of noise though good insulation and soft fabrics were all excellent, plus the balcony and sitting space. One of the most comfortable city hotels I've been in.

But, one major problem was the lack of control over the room temperature. It meant the room stayed the same temperature at night as during the day, and as is well known, for good sleep a room needs to be cooler. I mentioned this twice to staff at the desk. They were apologetic and immediately offered me a fan. But I did not want to sleep with a fan on all night in the winter. This is a great shame in rooms of such a good standard, and sadly, the heat woke me up a lot in the night.

Excellent location. Can get tram 6 or 7 located on the main shopping strip not far from train station that stops right outside hotel. Catch it on the right hand side of the road. Buy a 24 hour tram ticket to save money. Great breakfast and friendly staff.

Good location near tram and underground stops and only a few minutes walk from the lake and old town. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and the bar was pleasant for a cocktail in the evening.

The design of the room was odd; although it was quite a spacious room, a partition wall around the bed gave only a narrow gap between the bed and the wall and made the room feel smaller and darker. There was a rather old fashioned shelving unit containing the fridge which took up a lot of space. The seating area looked nice but was not very comfortable. The curtain extending around the wall was also a strange style choice.

The room was a bit larger than average hotels, cute table & seating area & good kitchen storage. The bed was glorious. lovely sheets & bedding. Lovely soft towels. A compact room but cleverly thought out. The Front desk staff really helpful, gentleman called Hasim I think!! So friendly & you were always greeted by first names & asked had you had a good day etc. If we needed information, they were always ready to assist! It really adds to your holiday experience.

The breakfast was rather dull, limited choice, virtually same every single day.....that could be improved! Breakfast room bit gloomy, if you were bit late down to breakfast...staff made it bit clear they wanted you gone pronto!!

The hotel is literally across the train station and walking distance from the old town and shopping area. The staff is very helpful, knowledgeable, polite and they speak perfect English. Breakfast was included, it was basic but OK, with pastries, boiled eggs, juice, coffee, hot chocolate and cold cuts. The room was small but functional. Not much space for luggage but they can store the luggage at reception. Coffee machine, sofa and a small coffee table. There were nice amenities.

The curtains all over the walls. Ugly and make the room feel smaller. The restaurant is too dark for breakfast, a bit depressive.

Quiet and spacious room, with fridge and glasses, nice sitting area. Very comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast, especially the BircherMuesli, good value on inclusive B&B offer, but would be expensive otherwise. Good location opposite Enge station, trams right outside, quiet area, 20 mins walk to old town, 5 mins to lakeside. Very helpful staff.

Duvet too thick - no lightweight duvets. Bedside tables tiny. Restaurant was expensive, but there's a mini-market next door, and an excellent Thai restaurant around the corner.

Loved the location of the hotel, so so central and just outside Bahnhof Enge. It was so easy to commute by train, bus , tram as it’s just below the hotel. There was a coop right below too, so it was super easy to get the basics. My first stop was Zurich, and i had never travelled to Switzerland before, so every detail the hotel gave was super helpful especially in navigating the trains/trams and on how to get to places. FIFA museum was in the opposite building too. The staff was so helpful. The room was small but quite nice, it had a balcony which overlooked the road and it was super pleasant in the mornings and evenings to just have dinner and a drink sitting there.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was the end of out stay and the location to the train and the FIFA museum were excellent. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. We asked for a room with a balcony, which we received. Unfortunately it rained too much to really enjoy it. It was a good 20 minute walk to old town going the route along the lake. Breakfast started at 7am and they were ready to go.

Everything about our check in and room was great. Breakfast could’ve been a better quality and spread. We stayed at several 4star hotels along our trip and this one was basic in comparison.

I really liked this hotel initially, particularly the location was excellent. It is just next to Bahnhof Enge, from where you can get everywhere by tram, bus, or train (airport including). Staff was very friendly, our room had a balcony and a nice couch area, as well as coffee maker. The breakfast is decent, I have certainly had buffets with more choices TBH, but the stuff they have is good (I had Bircher Müsli and a croissant most mornings). It is also 5mins from the lake and opposite of the FIFA museum, if that is your thing.

As said, we liked the hotel a lot and I will say it is new and the staff was appreciative of our feedback. We had a number of smallish issues, e.g. our TV kept on randomly going on and channels switched, as if it was reacting to another remote. At some point I unplugged it. Our bathroom was not adequately replenished on two days, same for coffee maker. Nothing that a quick trip to reception cant fix and the staff is very nice, but you expect slightly better from a hotel in this category.
