I was a little nervous about booking a room with a shared bathroom for the floor - but there were 2 full separate room bathrooms and one had a shower with a rain showerhead. The whole place felt super clean - and they made the stay extra special for my daughter because it was her birthday.

A little closer to the old town and train station would be nice but it was a pretty central location.

The entire building was refurbished, and it's very nice but you can tell it is an old building. The rooms are very warm and for those that need black out to sleep, they also got you covered. We have a shared bathroom with our floor. But everything was super clean and we didn't have any issue with it. The breakfast is definitely worth paying for. The location of the hotel was superb, super central and close to trams and stations. It feels a lot like you are in a hostel, but without the hectic environment. It's very peaceful.

The elevator was quite small and couldn't carry much, but going to the stairs is good for one's health :D Maybe getting a suite with bathroom wold also have improved a little bit more the experience, although the shared bathroom was always clean.

It’s central enough, quite charming actually, and the shared bathroom was always super clean which was so good. Easy to go hiking or to the old city and lake from here. The room has a desk, comfy bed, good wifi, all that you need. Didn’t try the breakfast. Frankly, stayed at a more expensive hotel another night and preferred this one.

Just the room decoration was a little outdated but nothing major really. A mini fridge would be an amazing addition.

I arrived and was met by a very welcoming member of staff, due to availability I was offered a larger room/bed due to my height. The room was clean, comfortably warm and everything promised on the website. I had a shared bathroom which was no problem at all, clean facilities and warm shower.

The only complaint I would have is the default number of pillows is one which can be quite thin due to continental taste. I could have asked for more pillows if I wanted I’m sure but it would be nice to have the option of one or two. I slept well though because the bed was so comfortable.

The staff, especially Mac, were very friendly and helpful. My friend and I felt very ‘at home’ at this hotel. The location was within easy walking distance to Lake Zurich and all the attractions. Single room was small but very adequate. Was a bit worried about having a ‘shared bathroom’ setup, but it was fine. Never had to wait for an available shower or toilet cubicle. The hotel was very clean and the buffet breakfast was good. Also, there was a very nice Japanese restaurant only a few metres down the road.

It would have been perfect if there was a kettle available in the room to make a cup of tea.

This hotel was a great location in the city with access to the bus system that allowed us to explore the city. Check in was easy and the breakfast (extra cost) was great. The room is on the smaller side, including a small bathroom but it was suitable for a party of 2.

A very small fan was provided in the room and the windows opened fully (which was great)! However there was significant construction going on the building right outside our window that starts before 7am. We slept with the windows open to help with the temperature in the room and the sound was very loud from the construction. A larger more powerful fan would be recommended.

Location was fantastic, easily reached from the airport. The hotel is located in a quiet neighbourhoood but not far from old town and Zurich HB. The staff was friendly and we much appreciated the offer to allow us to check in at 10am to an available room even without us asking. A limited but well curated spread (wonderful bread, cheese and cold cuts) for breakfast. The items were not my usual favourite food but they were excellent so much so that I took several helpings. The staff at the breakfast table was attentive and took great pride in his job. The room was comfortable and the shared toilet was clean. There was never moments I had to wait to use the shared toilet or shower.

Very nice personell, very cozy and clean rooms with comfortable beds and drawers to make the room really dark. Quiet and cozy neighborhood. Nice breakfast. Shared bathrooms but few rooms on each floor so no crowding. A sink and hot water in the room so you can brush your teeth and fresh en up at the room.

The wooden floor was a nice touch, but it was also very creaky. Unfortunately it was also very creaky in the room above so it made very loud noises when they walked around. That they did from 23.00 to midnight and from 05.00 to 06.30 non stop. Had I slept with earplugs it would have been less of a problem but now I got a really short night.

Everything is very comfortable, the room is huge, the views are pleasant , clean and modernly renovated apartment in an old building. I I absolutely shouldn't have worried that the shower room and toilet are in the hallway, and the shower room is perfectly equipped with a toilet and sink, and the toilet is large and has a sink, everything is clean, and since there was no one else on the fourth floor, the amenities were at our complete disposal

Might be a kettle in the room will be the great idea in the future

We checked in very late for a quick overnight stop, the reception staff were very friendly and informative. The room was really quiet, spacious, clean and comfortable, with a small outside balcony. The shared bathroom was just down the hall and we never had to wait to use it.

It would have been great to have had a kettle in the room, but as we checked in so late and were leaving early the next day, we didn't ask at the reception to see if this was an option.
