I had a fantastic experience at Hotel City Zurich. The location is perfect, within walking distance of major attractions and public transport. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Zurich!

I couldn’t make it warmer in room. It would be great if guests had more control over the heating.

Great location, only 5 min walk to the Zürich HB. The Staff are very friendly specially at the Reception and during the check-in. The Room is cosy and very comfortable. Highly recommended.

Renovated comfortable small room. Bathroom was ok, shower inside the bathtub. Very well located. Only a 5’ walk away from the main train station. There is a supermarket in the other side of the street. Walking distance to the city center / shopping area (Bahnhofstrasse) and to many good restaurants. Friendly staff at the reception. Breakfast available, we didn’t have it.

You just can't beat this location for the price! As a solo traveler, I did not require a huge room, just something big enough for me that had air conditioning and this place nailed it! Spacious room for a single traveler. Incredibly friendly staff that was very helpful, too. I booked this hotel an hour before I checked in and couldn't be happier about my decision. Incredibly quite. I never heard another person except the people knocking on doors to clean. Great blackout curtains, too, for those that need to catch up on sleep! The bang for the buck was exactly what I needed!

The elevator was a bit slow, so I did take the steps a fair number of times. That's fine for me, but could be challenging for some.

Breakfast was ok not huge variety - we ate at near by cafés the two mornings we were there . Location was excellent . Central and so close walkable to station which was bonus . We stayed in suite and room size for main room and side room was excellent . We travelled post stay and they do nicely kept our luggage for 6 days in their luggage room happily which was great help !

Air conditioning in second sofa room for kids in suite was not good - they did arrange fan the next day but it was not sufficient - one should get air conditioning checked before guests check in - as this was booked way advance . No complaints more than this .

location was great ... walkability factor to places I wanted to explore. Found good restaurants nearby. Breakfast was good. Wish restaurant was open on the weekends for dinner. Staff helpful and friendly ... I was able to get to my room even if I was several hours early than check-in time.

I booked a taxi to the airport via the hotel and was given an estimate. However, when I inquired about the cost from the driver, he was going to charge me a lot more than the estimate I was given. He said it was the hotel's estimate and because of the size of the car (a van) that was used, he was charging more. But I said I was the only passenger and I only had 2 medium bags and a small one. I was able to negotiate to pay less. Perhaps, when booking with the hotel, this should be made clear up front.

Ideal location for the Kaufleuten where I was attending a concert - a 5-minute walk. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I particularly liked the roof terrace where I’d planned to have a drink after the show but in the event I watched the second half of the women’s Euros semifinal, but I’ll bear the terrace in mind if I go to the Kaufleuten again. The room was extremely comfortable and I appreciated all the cupboard space, very rare these days, even though I didn’t need it.

Whilst the dinner was fine, it was a little bland and very expensive, but I’m being picky.

Great little room and fantastic bathroom with towel warmer. Comfy bed and staff were very helpful and pleasant. Good lighting and had all you could need in the rooms. Location was great with grocery store across the road and train station and shops a very short walk away.

We were there in April and the air conditioning had not been switched back on so the room got a bit hot and stuffy. The windows opened but the street was very noisy all night so you had to close them (very quiet with them closed.). Also street lights and short curtains meant the room was very light.

This is the second time I stayed in this hotel because the location is simply great. 5min walk from the main station and on the opposite site is a super market as well. The staff this time around were much nicer and more professional than half a year ago. Also, they have bicycles to rent out free of charge which was such a bonus as I could cycle on their e-bike easily to my meeting. Thank you! This room was the same category like last time but I had a bathtub instead of a tiny shower which was also wonderful. Loved the smell of the shower gel!

Like last time, the room I was in on the second floor (previously 4th floor) had very thin walls and I could hear my neighbors early morning conversing on the phone - no secrets here! Also, unlike the shower gel, the shampoo liquid was “separated” and smelled weird - maybe the cleaning staff mixed accidentally some moisturizer or conditioner in? The lower part was more gel and the upper floating part white and more cream-like. I did not use it after smelling it…

1. Excellent location in the heart of the shopping district and a 10 min walk from Zurich Hbf. 2. Checkin was very quick and smooth. 3. Excellent suite - spacious, with two full bathrooms; even has a balcony. Perfect for a family of four. 4. Comfortable bed & good housekeeping service for the extra beds for children. 5. Love that the room is not fully carpeted - just bedside rugs on a wooden floor. Clean feeling.

1. The bedroom floor is slightly lower than the entry lobby and one has to step down when entering, so it is very easy to mis-step as we did multiple times. Luckily no major injury. 2. There was no individual temperature control for the rooms, which is always nice to have. Sometimes the temperature set by the hotel felt warm / cold.
