Location is great! Easy access to main train station and city center

The location is an easy 3 min walk from the train st. The room was excellent and a very good size but we had a corner room which seemed better than the standard room.

The shower is a nightmare with no seal at the bottom of the shower screen first night spent 30 minutes clearing up the mess on the floor rediculous,also the shower rail placement is in a stupid position,you could already see the damage its doing to the door and trims,which is a shame with such a new room xxx

Good location, a vintage building right at Bahnhofstrasse and adjacent to Hauptbahnhof.

Inside the building, the lobby is too cramped, there are different level at the same floor.

If you are visiting Zurich and looking for a hotel in a great location with a warm-hearted and cheerful staff, then you are in the perfect place. The hotel is distinguished by its location, very close and no more than five minutes from the main Zurich station. You can go to any other place in Switzerland easily and conveniently from here, and it is close to international brand stores, the old town, and Lake Zurich. The most beautiful thing about the hotel is the staff, especially the reception staff. I got great information about the tourist areas, how to make reservations, and a lot of useful information for me as a tourist. The size of the rooms is spacious, comfortable, and has new furniture. Everything was great and we had an amazing time. Unfortunately, ours was a short stay, I wish we could have stayed for longer.

HOME AWAY FROM HOME!!!💖LOVED EVERYTHING FROM THE CHECK IN TO OUR STAY TO CHECK OUT...SEAMLESS! THE STAFF IS SUPER EFFICIENT IN HELPING WITH TIPS TO TRAVEL, LUGGAGE STORAGE IS SECURED , CLEANLINESS STANDARD,,AND LOCATION! LOCATION! LOCATION!!!! SO CLOSE TO SBB,TRAMS ETC SPECIAL MENTION OF NOEMI RECEPTIONIST, SERGIO, CONCIERGE..GERARDO ( VERY WELL INFORMED PERSON👍) , SRI, DIYAR, ALL OF THEM WENT OUT OF THEIR WAY TO ASSISST US AND MAKE OUR STAY VERY COMFORTABLE N STRESSFRESS. WE EVEN GOT AN EARLY CHECKIN AFTER A LONG FLIGHT WITHOUT EXTRA CHARGE AND A BETTER ROOM!!! BREAKFAST WAS UPTO THE MARK WITH EGGS MADE TO ORDER!! HAVE ALREADY RECOMMENDED ST.GOTTHARD TO OUR FAMILY N FRIENDS....WANTING TO VISIT SOON!

First room we've stayed was luminous, spacious and perfect, except for the refrigerator, which stopped working.

We were located on another room, on 3rd stage because of the fridge which stopped working on a Friday late afternoon. The second room we were put in (despite being "sold" as "same category" of the previous one we were, was tiny, dark, with a malfunctioning air conditioning (just air, no heat, no cold). Mr. Ahmad (?) PROMISED to call us on Monday (tops) as soon as the problem were solved (changing the refrigerator seemed to be a huge major issue, apparently). I'm waiting for his phone call until now. My request and/or my problem was simply ignored.

The location is excellent. Just 5 minutes walk from the station exit. Tram stop right in front of the hotel. Special mention and a Best Customer Service Award should be given Mr Gerardo from the Concierge desk. He patiently provided us numerous tourist attraction suggestions n guided us on which train n time to board. Superb service from other staff too.

Initially during check in, the front office staff didn't really care about our presence. We stood there for a few minutes n they were just talking amongst themselves. The bathroom has only 1 single glass panel at the shower / bsth tub and it is impossible not to splash water out, no matter how careful you are. The floor will always be wet after a shower. Please be careful when stepping out, especially the elderly. There's only 1 hook on the bathroom door. Please provide at least 1 more, especially when there are 2 guests.

A wonderful experience ! The office manager and his colleagues were great! One could immediately feel how the guest is honored here and the team works seamlessly together! I had a lots of pleasure enjoying my 50th Birthday in the Suite "Madame Batia Levy" that the staff offered me to stay in as a Birthday present- along with a glass of finest champagne! The short stay :-) I was just beginning to befriend everyone.. And yet duty called and I had to leave. But at least checkout was at 12!!!

Our room was not ready yet at the time we checked in; but the receptionist was quick to upgrade us to a larger room (still had to wait for an hour but that's not too bad, we just grabbed lunch), The only thing we are checking now that we are back in the US, at the time of booking we thought that the ride back to the airport is included. However, we were told it is not. It could have been a Booking.com offer; easier to make calls rather than international calls. Other than that, all was great. The staff, concierge, housekeeping and reception were all great.

The hotel was in a great location. It was right next to the station and tram, which made travelling easy. Great service & the buffet breakfast was nice. The hotel staff were very hospitable and friendly, particularly our lobby security officer, Sri, who not only helped us to settle in but was always willing to help with any requests we had, and afforded us friendly conversation, which we enjoyed. Thank you to the hotel statf for a great stay!

The bed pillows were uncomfortable as they become quite flat. Perhaps introducing thicker or more firmer pillows could be taken under consideration.
