Location is perfect! Right outside the main HB station. Staff was very nice and kind. Room was super cute and clean.

Thats receptionist is not 24 hrs so if you have to check out early in the morning you better do it the night before.

Very convenient location. It's two blocks from the train station and just off the main street with shopping and Christmas decorations. Easy walk around town.

I unfortunately booked the least expensive room. It was very small. I was on the sixth floor and unfortunately the elevators go up to five so we had to walk up a flight of shallow steps with our heavy luggage. However, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and it was just an overnight stay for us to see the Christmas markets and to take an early train to the airport.

Location is great! Easy to find and access.Staffs are so great and helpful. Room is ok except there is no amenity such as shower cap, hair conditioner. Hand Soap, Soap and Shampoo were really nice except they put water in soap bottle too.

Just this time I prefered quiet room but turned out i was on first floor and there was noise from bar downstair or outside. And the maid made quite loud noise in the hallway in the morning (from around 9.00)

Very quiet and safe location, literally a minute away from Zurich HB., there are restaurants around if u fancy having a meal or u can go to HB for a quick coffee and sight seeing. the hotel is super clean, very comfy bed and pillows, with kettle, with free bottled water, hotel slippers and small bottles of lotion which smells really nice 🙂 the hotel has its own resto., the staff are really nice and accommodating, they let me check in early and always very responsive to queries., dont forget to visit the park on the right side of the hotel, its really pretty, and also u can get a cab right outside HB or if u walk about 2 minutes to the right side of the hotel, there are cab ques. overall i didnt wanna leave 😆 but surely i will be back and highly recommend this hotel, its excellent! 100/10 🫰🏻thank u townhouse hotel see u soon! ❤️

Excellent location! Only a mere few minutes of walking from Zurich HB. I love that the room was equipped with a DVD player and the reception had a DVD library - really unique for today's standards. The price seemed reasonable in comparison to a country that is known for high expenses. The staff were attentive & friendly, and I loved the little touches of fruit, water and sweets in the reception area. Overall, I would happily stay again.

I wish the rooms were equipped with a fridge or something that could store cold drinks. Though there is an elevator between floors, there are a few steps to get from outside into the reception area. Heavy suitcase travelers beware...

We believe the "highlight" was the professionalism of Alex. He bent over backwards to assist us with our many questions and was most eager to assist us in anyway. He was outstanding and definitely represented the hotel well.

In regards to the room, it was lovely but the tables next to the bed were very small and couldn't hold much. However, the chairs were quite large and could use some updating. Possibly considering smaller chairs would provide more room for guests. Also...providing Netflix would be a definite plus since there was very few (if any) channels we could use that would speak English. Alex came to the rescue and found a DVD player so we could watch a old movie at night.

Very close to the train station (3 minutes walk after getting out from the station escalator on Banhofstrasse), and in the middle of shopping area with many restaurants. The hotel is old but very well maintained and clean. Reception personnel were so nice and knowledgeable. Although the hotel is in the city centre, it was so quiet outside after 22h00.They accept to keep luggages if we arrive too early for check in.

The food area for the breakfast was not spacious so often crowded (there were many table and chair for dining room though). The egg boiling machine is nice to make our own boiled eggs, but nobody explained how to use and no other egg styles was available. No self service coffee machine was available and we had to order coffee & tee, which took too long. The service at the restaurant was acceptable but no smile. The food variety is very limited (compared to other hotels we stayed in this travel). It was 15 degree C on the 11th of September, so we did not need an air conditioning but if it were in the middle of summer, it might be hot in the room (there was an electric fan in the room). There was the electric plug on only one side of the bed.

Reception staff was excellent. They offer you a free beverage as a welcoming. The "restaurant " staff was not nearly as friendly or efficient. Playing loud music during breakfast? Cleaning staff was wonderful-cheerful, helpful and most accommodating.

Great location just 5 mins walk from the train station and just off the main shopping street in the old town. It was very hot 36c so we asked for an air conditioned room and were given room 52 on the very top floor. A lift up to the 5th floor and a flight of stairs to the top. The room was small but adequate. The controls of the air conditioning unit didn’t work but it was nice and cool for us. There’s a small roof top terrace attached to the room but it really needs doing up. Nice cafe attached to the hotel where the buffet breakfast was served.

The hotel is in an excellent location. It’s just a few minutes’ walk from the train station, making it very convenient to reach. The room was a bit small but manageable. The bed and pillows were comfortable, providing a good night’s sleep. Overall, considering the price-performance ratio, it was a very good hotel.

While the hotel met our expectations in terms of location and comfort, the shower area was a major disappointment. Instead of a modern shower enclosure, it had an old setup with a curtain which was far from hygienic. As someone who values cleanliness, this was a significant downside for me. A more modern and hygienic bathroom arrangement is definitely needed.
