Communication was easy. The hotel kept me informed and was helpful, especially as I was arriving later in the day. The location is good as it is near tramlines and decent restaurants nearby (incl. Luigia). It is also close to the Zurich HB train station which is about 15 minutes walk away - we walked from the station to the hotel. The rooms are decently sized and it has a lift which made access easy.

The room is quite dark - it isn't well illuminated. While there is lighting, it still felt quite dim. There wasn't a heater in the shower which seemed odd and made things a little unpleasant, albeit briefly. There weren't enough power sockets/adapters which seemed odd. The TV (in the bedroom) was tiny - I think it was a 32" LCD which seemed somewhat pointless. The hotel is located next to the tramline so while it is convenient, there is some background noise though it is tolerable.

A great hotel. Small and basic room but very cozy and clean. GREAT location right near the main streets but quiet. located by the river and very close to the train station. We loved the most: "The library" a room and a balcony, accessible all day long, with tea coffee, books and board games where you can relax by the riverside. it made our stay very comfortable and memorable.

The mattress was too soft and the bed was "sunken" -it made the sleeping not so comfortable.

Location was fantastic - we walked with our cases from the train station (10mins) and it was close and walkable to most things in Zürich city centre. It also has a restaurant on site that looked great however we ended up eating elsewhere during our short stay I chose this hotel versus a regular chain for a more Zürich “local” experience and it delivered (architecture, smaller boutique hotel etc) The junior suite was very spacious and comfortable for the three of us The library area that offered guests an option of seating on a balcony by the river was great too

For us this wasn’t a major deal, however AC options, while great that AC unit was provided, having to have windows open at night for the vent made it a little bit noisy ( trams , traffic, people etc) . Not terrible but if you’re used to zero noise at night then you will hear something - plus you’re right in the town so some noise is to be expected .

The hotel is a short walk from the main train station so we were able to get there by foot. The room was clean, organized and the staff at the reception was very welcoming. The bed was comfortable, and we got a view to the river which was beautiful and also gave a sense of privacy because we could open the curtains without worrying someone was looking into our room. There's public transportation close by, a supermarket and a few restaurants.

The water in the shower get almost everywhere on the floor and there's no way to mop it. We only stayed for 1 night so we didn't make a big deal out of it but it was annoying.

Everything. Room was very clean and staff were lovely. Trams pass hotel but no noise as our room faced the river. We went in June and river fast flowing but windows provide excellent soundproofing when closed at night. Hot breakfast available, was part of our package but maybe a bit expensive @25chf for what was available. I have given score of 8 mainly due to cost of the accommodation but then it is Zurich and according to Google, the most expensive city in the world.

Just something minor but room key is attached to a large tassle which isn’t convenient for carrying around when out and about, and you need to take key with you as reception not available after 9pm.

The service at check in was awesome - very efficient and helpful with lots of suggestions for a one day stay in Zurich. Beds were comfortable and the room was clean and ready early upon our arrival. The location is out of the main center so it is quiet, but close enough that you are in the heart of the city in a very short walk.

A breakfast voucher would be nice as the hotel is a short walk to town so options for a quick bite are limited.

Location was great not far from the train station. It had a good restaurant on the premises. We walked to many sites. Good transportation and restaurants nearby.

The public places where hotel guests could congregate were off limits because of private parties. Even the patio of the restaurant. We never could stay at the rooftop bar because there were private parties every night. It seems that the hotel and restaurant management were very separate and there was limited public space for hotel guests. Rooms are small with limited space.

The hotel is a boutique style in a beautiful building with classy furniture and fittings. The bed was very comfortable and we had a large bathroom with a walk in shower. There is a big supermarket 100m away. It’s very close to the centre of town and the main train station is a 15minute walk away.

It is located on a particularly noisy intersection with constant tram noise at all hours. The double glazed windows work extremely well but just be aware that each room has a portable aircon that only works if the window is left open with the tube going outside. Definitely good accommodation for the cooler months when you can keep the windows closed but too noisy in summer. You can request a kettle but there is no fridge in the room.

Excellent restaurant. Very accommodating when I arrived late on the first evening. Very helpful and accommodating staff - when i had checked out i was able to leave my baggage and later come back and work at the hotel before my flight Nice breakfast Connections with two local gyms - one free, one preferred rate

The location was great and the staff was corteous. I asked for gluten free breakfast and they had a great bread for us. The room was spacious and clean with a little kitchen and table in case we wanted to dine there. The style of the hotel was nice with a little old tavern feeling to it.

It was too pricey for the level of the hotel. The bathroom was a little small for a suite for 4 people. The variety of breakfast was a little limited if you stay for several days.
