Upon arrival we were greeted by Irena at the front desk who was really friendly and helpful. It was nice to be given a welcome drink after a long day of travelling. The room was a good size and the bed was comfortable. Although the bathroom has glass walls, there is a curtain that can be drawn around for privacy and the toilet is in its own cubicle. Breakfast was very tasty and there was a good selection of food. You could also order eggs to be freshly prepared.

The hotel is located on a hill so it is a bit of a climb to access if you don't have a car. Travellers with mobility issues should be aware of this.

I did not go to the spa or pool. I did have breakfast, though, and it was plentiful, with options for all tastes. The coffee was not their strength, though. I am sure they can work on that. What I really liked about the hotel was the service. Truly every single one of the people who work there is absolutely delightful and extremely professional. I was welcomed with a massive smile, they upgrades my room, and offered me a complimentary drink. The receptionist explained everything about the hotel to us, the explanation was on point, not too short or long. I had inadvertently booked for one night instead of two and they were able to accommodate me very quickly. What was not very good for me was the distance from the center. I was staying a day and a half and if one is splurging like I was on the hotel, I should have calculated the distance better. Staying in town would have been better for us. Also, I really wanted a room that gave to the forest at the back of the hotel. Those are the two things that I would have wished for to make my stay extra special. The hotel is a great place for business people that is for sure, there is plenty of room in the reception area for work and it is quiet. Great experience all round and again, excellent

The breakfast had fantastic choice and was always delicious. The location was great as it was very close to the centre but far enough to have quiet time and be away from the crowds. The hotel was absolutely beautiful and especially the library room where we enjoyed our meals every day. The location is fantastic for walks. The staff extremely friendly and helpful. The spa that is attached to the hotel an absolute treat and gives it all an extra sense of luxury. Amazing views from the outdoor pool and so nice to just to go straight to fur room after such a relaxing and pampering experience. We will definitely go back again

Amazing decor and setup! We stayed in a regular double room but with the high ceilings and the semi-open bathroom, it looked and felt very spacious. The room was surprisingly very quiet despite the hotel being close to a railway… breakfast was very tasty and I appreciated the fact that it was included in the price of the room and available until noon. And of course the breakfast room/restaurant was very spectacular. The staff was welcoming, friendly and helpful.

Not much to highlight besides maybe the small fact that we didn’t have the chance to try the rooftop pool because it was closed for summer maintenance. But we did get free passes for the local Badi - just ask the staff!

The staff are great and professional. Very polite and kind. The spa is great. The room is well designed.

There were two main things I didn’t like about this hotel. For the price you’re paying, the spa could easily be included in the room rate—especially considering that the spa experience is truly extraordinary. The second disappointment was the breakfast, which was surprisingly poor and underwhelming for a hotel of this caliber. As for an improvement, adding a glass door to the bathroom would be a great idea—it would provide privacy and help minimize noise from the sink and shower, making the stay more comfortable.

Fantastic hotel, nice room, warm and professional welcome with minimal waiting time. The hotel itself looks very special and very stylish. It is a half an hour walk from the HB train station (or 15 minutes by tram). The spa is in the same building, the rooftop wellness area is amazing. The breakfast was also very enjoyable, fresh and available until noon! The gym is very special and I really enjoyed my time in this special room. The surrounding seems also to be a good area for jogging but as it snowed I did not have a chance to try. Also after checkout we still could go to the spa and it the changing after was very well organized. We understood that spa costs extra - but for that we could use the spa for 24 hours - therefore we could go twice. The spa was not our style in general but it is definitely worth to try it once and it is very beautiful and special.

Very small detail: would be great if there was a mirror in the gym (not sure if possible due to the special room). Just to add: It is true and known that the hotel is not in the city center (but not very far either), so a bit of travel needed for restaurants/bars. In general I find the hotel fantastic & amazing but it is very expensive.

The spa was lovely, the steam rooms could have been steamier not much steam, some of the pools were not very warm I caught a cold it was chilly at night. The breakfast was ok not many choices but sufficient. The food we ordered was just ok but I loved our room and view of Zurich. The rooftop pool very nice.

Steam rooms were not working properly the pools were not warm enough only one was very warm. No soup, just a few menu items. More food choices would have been good.

The staff at this hotel were some of the most polite and helpful I’ve encountered in all my travels. Thank you for welcoming me so warmly, for providing a fan when it got hot, and for giving me an iron to get my clothes together. The library at this hotel and lounge space is incredible! I literally could stare at the books and people watch from the stunningly decorated lounge space.

Gosh, the central AC system was on eco settings so it didn’t get as cold as I would like, almost to the point where I was sweating and uncomfortable. The shower also didn’t stay on and kept turning off every couple of minutes so difficult to work with

We had an excellent stay at this hotel! The room was clean and very comfortable, which made our stay truly enjoyable. Cleanliness throughout the hotel was flawless. The location is perfect for those seeking peace and quiet—the hotel is situated in a very tranquil area, ideal for resting away from the noise of the city. We are leaving fully satisfied and won’t hesitate to return.In addition to the perfect room, we were charmed by the lovely Library lounge, very cozy and pleasant—just perfect for relaxing at any time of the day. The spa deserves special mention: it offers different baths and pools as well as the pool on the roof top with a stunning view over the surrounding. It was a true moment of relaxation with a calming atmosphere and top facilities. An ideal place to recharge, and we’re leaving delighted!

There are no places as restaurants or bars in surrounding.

The hotel is beautiful, clean and designed. staff is very nice, and breakfast was great, with lots of options. dinner and lunch at the lobby restaurant was very good, and at a reasonable price. location was great for us, one tram away from everything. not city center but we liked it.

we had a few issues. first, after making the reservation we got an email saying that the pool will be closed during our stay, which were very disappointing. During our stay, the room we got had a sewage problem and the windows were facing a wall, so we had to switch rooms. Also, on the first day we had no hot water. the hotels showers has no privacy. it is a transparent glass with from all sides with only a curtain from the room side. so anyone can open it. not quite suitable for families with small kids or friends.
