Very kind and helpful staff. Tasty breakfast. I got a free upgrade to the better room with view on the bay. Even my booked room would have been very nice.

The trash bin in the bathroom still had the rubbish from previous guests. This happened in both rooms. Not a tragedy at all, but a pity for such a beatiful and elegant place.

We loved the view of our room. the room was extremely comfortable. Staff was supper friendly and helpful.

We have difficulty on finding the main entrance. The address that's on Google doesn't give the right one. The main entrance it's at the back alley, but google says it's at the main street.

Not sure I knew at booking that we didn’t have a sea view. More transparency would be good. That said, sitting out in our balcony at rear of building was pleasant.

Our ocean front room was in a great location with a fabulous view! Many restaurants in walking distance, with one of the best next door! The Hifen! The train station is a 10 min walk with easy access to Lisbon, 40 min along the coast! The hotel staff is top- notch with smiling faces every morning when we came down to the wonderful complimentary breakfast! Every member of the staff happily went out of their way to help you navigate your travel plans and answer any questions! We were given hand written directions and recommendations for everything we wanted! We highly recommend this hotel!!!

I can’t think of anything we didn’t like!

Breakfast was standard continental but adequate. The room the breakfast was served from is very small so only one person can fit in at a time. The little dining area is pretty. Our room on the top floor was lovely and spacious. We had amazing views!

Staff were not that attentive. Our in room fridge was not working on arrival. We reported it but it was fixed or replaced during our stay. We stayed on the top floor which was amazing (the views were exceptional). There was however no one to assist with our luggage on departure. We also had a problem with the parking. We paid (at the hotel) for a parking at the undercover parking down the road for the period of our stay. But on departure, we were made to pay again at the actual parking garage before we could leave.

The cost was high, for the price I wouldn't have expected to be charged for extras like coffee pods (once the initial ones were used). A kettle in room and free daily bottled water would be a nice inclusion. Also very little storage space, no drawers which would have been handy!

I feel like I rested super well here. The view is good. The sound of waves is super calming. Stuff is helpful. They fulfilled my request about the heater. Appreciate that. The food on breakfast was super good. I was surprised. You can feel that everything was carefully selected cause everything i tried for breakfast here was tasty. Even after a couple of weeks, I'm craving for their pecan bun. My best stay so far. I wish I had stayed more days. Thanks for this experience

The air conditioner was noisy for me.

Location is outstanding. Recommend taking a room with a balcony to enjoy the fantastic view. Continental breakfast includes fresh fruit, cheeses and deli meats, cereal and yogurt and eggs. Excellent staff. Pleasant breakfast room.

The hotel has three floors and no lift/elevator. We wish we had known this in advance. Some rooms are small and the bathrooms are tiny. Beds are quite comfortable but some people may consider them to be too firm.

The staff was great and the breakfast fresh. I would have given them a 10, BUT the photos show this beautiful beach view ONLY the rooms booked with a view/balcony has access to the view. Yes we did not book a room with a balcony & view, BUT you would expect a property with such a amazing view/position and at the rate p/room p/night, it would have some "common area" to enjoy some of this view.

Having such a property, with such amazing view/position there must be some "common area" where the guest can enjoy the view, even just to have a drink or breakfast overlooking the sea. You have to go out and find a restaurant to enjoy the view.

The view from the room, the area around is so beautiful, everyone in the hotel was kind and friendly, I felt safe and had a relaxing stay
