One of the greatest experiences I’ve ever had in a hotel! The staff were the friendliest, everything was squeaky clean, and the breakfast was more than enough. The mattress, pillows, and sheets were all comfortable and normal (no weird textures or anything). They gave me an upgrade to my room, even though they didn’t have to, and they even paid for my parking outside the hotel, despite it being my responsibility (I booked the room at the last minute, so they had no available parking spots at the hotel). The shared kitchen was fully equipped and clean, plus there was some free fruit, coffee, and tea available for use. I’ll try to adjust my itinerary just to come back and stay there again before leaving Portugal.

If I could rate this fantastic place more than 10 I would! Such a fantastic place. The staff were so nice and helpful. Especially the main man Jimmy. Thank you Jimmy, we really enjoyed your company. The staff saw it was my birthday. Jimmy presented me with cake and wine and joined our company. The staff at breakfast gave me chocolate and a lovely note for my birthday. The most comfortable bed and short walk into town. It was all just fantastic and one of the nicest places I have ever stayed. Jimmy recommended a bar for us and we loved that too. A real gem. Thanks to all the kind staff who made our trip extra special. ☺️

My husband and I had a fabulous stay here with our friends. Everything was absolutely perfect and I couldn't fault anything. Great location, really comfortable room, nice and quiet, lovely breakfast. Best of all was the lovely staff, especially Jimmy who made us feel so welcome! It was our friend's birthday while there and he surprised us with a bottle of wine and cake, even sang happy birthday to her! Such a lovely guy! The next morning staff also brought her a lovely handwritten note and chocolate, made it so special ❤️ If you want a perfect stay with very personable service then this is the place to go, highly recommended 👌

Nothing- we loved it all!

The property was calm and clean. The hosts were welcoming and attentive, and helped me with my luggage. All the necessary appliances are in the kitchen, and I could have things printed out for free. The room was comfy, with a spacious wardrobe and a big bed. The bathroom was neat. The breakfast was ready and warm. The location was good, at a walkable distance from the railway station, cafes and shops. A highlight of my stay was a seagull flying over to the veranda during the breakfast time on both days :)

It was quite chilly and wet in the room, and an air conditioner only helped a little. My room was under the roof so I had to jump to peep into the street :) The mattress was too soft for my liking, I prefer harder mattresses for their posture benefits. It came as a surprise that the reception was not available 24/7 and the hotel overall felt a bit deserted but thankfully I didn't have emergencies. The boiler wouldn't start heating automatically so I had to ask the host to check it on both mornings, which they did and corrected it. The hosts were not Portuguese and spoke little English but enough to get the message through. I would've appreciated more non-sweet vegetable and hot meals options for breakfast.

We had an excellent stay at this hostel! From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. Their hospitality made our experience even better. The facilities were spotless and very comfortable, ensuring a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The rooms and common areas were well-maintained, and we appreciated the attention to cleanliness. The location was perfect, making it easy to explore the area and access everything we needed. And to top it all off, the breakfast was absolutely delicious—a great way to start the day! Wr highly recommend this hostel to anyone looking for a fantastic stay. We will definitely be returning!

The place was easy to find. Location is great, just a few minutes walk to restaurants, nice and clean neighbourhood. Kris was very kind and friendly. The room was clean. Breakfast was nice. Living/breakfast room is very cosy. I thought it is a rather a B&B than a hostel.

The parking space is very narrow and you barely have space to open the door in case of a small/mini class car, like Fiat500. It is a very tiny way and can only fit a small car (or maybe 2, in front of each other). I had a medium size car and I could not park there so I had to leave the car in the public parking space. Public parking is close and there were enough places (in december) and it is free during the night. I arrived late and stayed for one night only so I just payed for a few hours so this was not a big deal. Parking machine only accepts coins (at least in that area).

Very very kind, helpful en warm people! We felt at home because of them and we would love to come back! Bed (large) and showers are perfect. Airconditioning and good wifi! The room is cleaned daily if you want, new fresh towels. We missed a waterboiler at first, but we heard then that we could make use of the kitchen at the breakfast-place. Breakfast is good, with fresh juice, toasts, croissants etc. If you want you can eat outside, it’s a lovely place. The environment is calm and quiet, but nearby restaurants, beach, etc. The day we left Jimmy prepared croissants for us to take with us and helped us with our suitcases, so sweet!

Jimmy and staff were very attentive, nothing was too much trouble and gave great recommendations. We were very thankful of the ice cold arrival coke as it was boiling hot and we have travelled by train! The room was big and bathroom also great and clean. We were travelling with a 8 and 12 year old so was worried being a hostel it would be loud it was far from it nice and quiet! Thank you Jimmy what a great place to stay! Also a daily delicious breakfast served!! Nothing to fault - they also left us a sandwich to take with us to the airport as we had to leave early Jimmy would not take no for an answer thank you for looking after us ❤️

Breakfast was great, as were the staff. Our room was bright and airy room on the top floor. with a peak-a-boo view of the ocean. The staff were accommodating for breakfast time, and pretty much anything - just ask! Sitting outside on the patio for breakfast was delightful. Quiet neighborhood on weekends and an easy walk to beach and town.

There is little to not like here. I have but two "complaints" - 1) Our toilet seat was broken the entire time and it was almost impossible to get hot water for a shower. Neither issue was able to be addressed during our visit. 2) While the coffee was okay, I had been hoping for delicious espresso-based coffee - cappuccino to be exact. Only one day was the coffee as hot as I like but they were willing to heat mine back up when asked.

Great base for your stay in Cascais - walkable to old town, resturants, bars & the sea. Jimmy greeted us and instantly made us feel at home. We stayed in the Picasso room, which for a couple (& a small child) is a great space with private shower room. There are a couple of parking spots available, be sure to request if needed, otherwise parking can be expensive as its all pay parking in the area. Lovely clean communial spaces including kitchen & small plunge pool. Breakfast was continental & plentiful, lots of fresh fruits, pastries, breads, meats, cheese & more on offer - perfect to set you up for the day. We would recommend.
