Greatest experience I've ever been through. Seems like everyone is happy there. Good vides and lots of open talk. Leave you worries behind and enjoy your stay. I've been through several hostels in my life. This one is a great example.

I had never stayed at a hostel before. I found the staff at Nice Ways to be welcoming, and friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we were looked after. It seems to attract a really nice crowd of people. I would highly recommend going to at least 1 BBQ at the hostel, it's a great way of meeting fellow guests, plus it's a nice feast with music and drinks. Music was played at the bar every night but was turned off by 11 pm so this wasn't an issue regarding sleep. I didn't get around to taking part in the yoga unfortunately as we were so busy exploring the area. The surf instructors were very nice, I would highly recommend you book yourself on to lessons when you arrive. The Hostel is perfectly situated close to the Cascais town center and not far from the beaches. All in all it's a great experience to stay at Nice Ways Cascias.

The location is okay. 10 min minutes walking from city center & 15 from the beach. Great option of Breakfast for only €3,50 (bread, cheese, jam, butter, fruits, yogurt, orange juice and coffee) and for dinner they had BBQ plus open bar of Sangria for only €15. Unreal! Unfortunately I couldn't stay because I had plans already. All staff are lovely and very helpful. My check out was 11am and they offer me to leave my luggage there while I could enjoy the day on the beach as my flight was only 8pm. I also had a shower before I catch my flight. I definitely will recommend this place to my friends.

lovely hostel, beautifully furnished. the beds are made well and only stack 2 beds per bunk so there’s a nice bit of space to sit up in bed. each bed also has a mini shelf running along the mattress which is super handy (especially if you’re on a top bunk). it’s a 10 minute walk into town/bus/train station and close to supermarkets. the hostel has a nice outdoor bar and various activities like film night and bbq night. loved the slack line by the pool! would stay again!

I stayed in a 12 bed mixed dorm and there was no space to leave luggage inside so we had to keep it in shelves on the sheltered room balcony. it was fine and I didn’t mind but it’s just nice to know if you’re booking the 12 bed that space is a little tight. the 10 bed was much more spacious. other than that, loved my time here :)

The best part of The property was The pool. I would just say that it could be open just for a bit longer maybe till 23 or 00. Because on very hot days i was dreaming to jump in to it in evening too. But sadly could not managed to get Back before 22.

Property is located really Close to The town center and beaches and places to go out in The evening. Probably less than 10 min from The beaches and town centre.

As an older traveller booking long term stays I I value safety. Cleanliness. Quiet environment. Good Walking score. I met all my expectations. And more. Add an awesome staff. Willing to make your stay a pleasant. experience. I want to come back.

Nothing really. A nice hostel.

a wonderful getaway from the city. spent some time here in between my time working in Lisbon- a beautiful place to get some quiet and sunshine. very lovely staff, everyone was kind and fun. a nice large and equipped kitchen for those who want to cook for themselves as the town is small (still plenty of places to eat, just smaller and not open as late). the beds were comfy and the room spacious enough with vanities for getting ready, however I can imagine the room would get quite hot in the summer though as a lot of sun comes in during the morning hours.

not big enough issues to make it a problem but as a young female traveler I did find it interesting there are a lot of older men who stay on the property- either as staff or guests. again, not necessarily a problem, but depends on your vibe since rooms are generally co-ed.

Staff were very friendly helpful and inclusive, making you actually feel like you're part of the family, even when things were a little sticky about borrowing a bike, they went out of their way to see that I was being helped along. And Marcella in seeing my difficulty using uber for the first time offered to help me if I got in trouble which I did and she called itransport for me on her account, for which I am most grateful , so I have recommend this place to many of my friends who seemed very interested in visiting.

Too short a happy hour?

The organized bbq was a great way to meet fellow travellers. The garden and pool are super nice. The curtains add privacy to the dorms and the beds were super comfy. It’s located in a more residential, relaxed area but still walking distance to everything.

I was lucky because my room was to the side of the house but people who had rooms to the front complained about the noise, as people usually hang out in the garden until late.

The Employees and volunteering people are really open and talkative, they are able to create a really great environment in the Hostel. It ends up that all the people in the hostel talk to each other in the common areas all the time, and people go out together to the city and for meals.

The big toilet could be better maintained and cleaned. But they provide also individual toilets in the first floor, that you can use and avoid the bigger one.
