I didn’t really have any expectations, It was available for when i needed it, within my budget & it looked close to everywhere on the map. The reality was it’s a short walk to the sea front & from there it’s a lovely stroll into the town. There’s a huge supermarket down the road on the way into town, which is next to the bus station where you can easily catch the bus to Sintra. I walked up along the coast a few times & then caught the bus back into Cascais, perfect. The room was adequate, clean & nice quality. I was dubious about sharing a bathroom but it wasn’t a problem at all. The bathroom was big, clean, functional & nice quality. Breakfast buffet was great & just what i needed along with tea, coffee & possibly cake being available throughout the day also. I would definitely stay again!

Great, welcoming staff - provided me with a beach towel, allowed to keep my bag after the check-out to enjoy the beach, and gave good recommendations. Also, super neat and spacious common area to hang in, nice terrace. Hot water and coffee available at all times. Room, and shared bathroom were also nice, bed is comfy, good A/C. Would come again!
Bedside lamps are not the most convenient to operate (needed to lift them up to turn on/off). Could not enjoy the pool / it wasn't maintained (cleaned).

Everything was so perfect at Luna. From the decor to the breakfast. Not to mention the confy bed and big bathroom ( which I sahred but had no issues with that). I felt immediately at home from the moment I arrived until I left. No wonder why I extended my stay for two days. Breakfast is healthy and tasty, employees are kind and friendly and they treat as it was your house. There are is always nice coffee and biscuits (left over from breakfast yumiii) in the sitting room, and the dog cute is such a lovely lady (Luna ❤️). Even if you don’t like dog, you will love her.
I could not spot anything wrong (I know, unbelievable)

Relaxing and peaceful Lovely breakfast and outdoor area
Think mis-communication. I organized a transfer to airport, I was advised it was better to take bolt cheaper. I booked Bolt, advised reception. Transfer turned up!! I then had to cancel Bolt! Got to airport with transfer, cash!! I was not advised of this! I then had to rush and take money out! Very very expensive on New Zealand dollars!!!! Also my room booked said garden view!!! My room was looking out at the back of houses and road! Apart from all that it was a pleasant stay.

Very new, modern and decorated with taste. Lot of plants. Shared bathroom with one other room but very spacious and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The owner, Lena took me on a hike which I wouldn’t have found on my own. Lovely breakfast. The yoga studio looked amazing too.
It’s not that I disliked it, but a heads up that at least during low season there are a lot of remote workers (it’s a co-working space) so it’s not a typical place to meet new ppl as most of them come to work. I liked the quiet ambiance. Perhaps it’s more lively during high season I don’t know. I’m less fan of the white lights (the bulbs) that are everywhere in Portugal. Doesn’t match the warm atmosphere and would be handy to have a power source near the bed. But again; it’s nothing big and definitely did not influence my stay. I liked it!

I had a room with a private bath and everything was clean as can be. The bathroom facilities worked perfectly - plenty of hot water with good pressure, for instance. The breakfast spread was extensive and included many healthy, fresh choices. An employee periodically came through the dining room to offer to fry eggs for guests so be aware that that is an option. The overall vibe of Luna House is calm and quiet. There is no television in your room if that matters to you (it did not matter to me).
It's a bit of an uphill climb to Luna House from the main part of Cascais and it's on cobblestone sidewalks, which creates a bit of a disadvantage if you brought a rolling suitcase. Much better to use a backpack as luggage in this instance if you are planning ahead. Highly recommend Luna House in any case.

The location was great, it is in a nice quiet and safe area of Cascais. Private parking was available during our stay - there are only 4 spots total and they can only be accessed if someone at the front desk was around to open/close the garage (not sure exactly what time they start but they were definitely there at the front desk from at least 7am until 9pm). However, there was so much free street parking available during our stay (with many spots directly in front of the property) that we did not need to use the private parking. But I wanted to note that with the staff always there and ready to help, I think the private parking would be very convenient if there was no street parking available. The rooms were exactly as described. We had one room with a private bathroom and one room with a shared bathroom. The room with the private bathroom was very large and luxurious. The room with the shared bathroom was much smaller but still perfect for our short stay and the bathroom was only shared with one other room (2 people). The bathrooms were very clean and well equipped with shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The property provided a full breakfast each morning of the stay from 8am to 10:30am and included coffee, tea, water, bread, cereal, yogurt, granola, eggs, meat, cheese, vegetables, fruit, etc. It was all-you-can-eat and freshly made so we never left hungry. The property also had many common areas (inside and out) where you could sit and relax. There was also a pool that looked like it would be very inviting on a hot summer day. Those that were at the front desk were very helpful. They kept our luggage safe during our check-out day so we could explore the city without having to lug everything around and provided us a hot tea upon our return. This was a lovely place to stay and we wish our stay was longer. It would be a great spot to relax and recharge during an extended stay. There were many plants around the property which was so lovely to see.
The unit was everything we needed and more. Very safe and convenient with lots of street parking. We wish we had stayed longer and would definitely return. One minor thing to note: this property does not have an elevator. However, there is really only two levels (main floor and upstairs) so it's not much of a climb to the upstairs rooms. We had no issues getting our large/heavy luggage up and down :)

Everything. I am not sure I actually want to share the secret of how amazing is this place, as it is such a pearl. It starts from reception staff telling you their name, helping you with everything you may need. There are options for yoga events. The room was as described and more. I loved live plants all over the house. Nice bed and sheets. Private bathroom was outstanding finish and rituals products provided. Not to mention the tasty breakfast and the cutest dog Luna. The location of the house is in a lovely neighbourhood with nice walks around. Recommend the park nearby. I can not recommend this place enough. I did not want to leave as I loved working in their Coworking Space. It was a really relaxed and safe and lovely stay.
Late homecomers let the door close itself. Which meant I was woken up. But heavy sleepers will be fine.

Quiet place, clean room and bathroom. Nice receptionist in the morning shift, ready to help if needed. Good breakfast with coffee and the all day long in the commun area.
It's quite far from the beach but in a green area. The most annoying thing is the missing lavabo in the (very small) room. I mean, there is a common bathroom but a fridge and a lavabo ( for washing the hands, some fruits, or for brushing the teeth, etc) are basic in my view even in a eco surroundings.

Convenient location for walking into Cascais. Poor weather prevented use of pool unfortunately.
If you’re a light sleeper or want a lie-in on holiday, be warned that you can hear noise going on in the corridor and rooms around you. We were disturbed on both nights, despite ear plugs. We were worried initially about potential noise from the road nearby, but that is quiet at night. There was no-one on reception when we left, as we would have mentioned the comments above.
