We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful apartment! The place is stylishly decorated, clean, and offers a fantastic view. The host, Mr. Giancarlo, was incredibly welcoming and friendly, and went above and beyond to help us make the most of our time on Gozo. He gave us personalized recommendations based on our travel interests, which really helped us get to know the island quickly and enjoyably. The apartment is fully equipped with everything we needed, making our stay very comfortable. The location is perfect — just a short walk to the bus stop, city center, supermarkets, pharmacies, and restaurants. We would definitely love to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Gozo!

Strategical location to visit any point of Gozo, very close to the main bus station. The place is clean, tastefully furnished, and cozy. The bed is comfortable. I had my own fridge during my stay and could use the electric cattle, the toaster or the microwave oven. My favorite part was the terrace with the swing bench and the view of the Cittadella. Giancarlo, the owner was born to be host! The communication was perfect, he was extremely helpful and nice. This was a birthday trip for me, and he surprised me with a lovely present! If I go back to Gozo (and I will), I'll choose this place again.

One of the best B&B that I've ever been. Great location - around 700m to the city center, great standard, lots of places to park (near by the hospital), great view and also the most nice owner I've ever met - Giancarlo. He showed us how to explore the island and where to go in what time to avoid the crowds. I would definitely recommend this accomodation in Gozo.

Giancarlo is an awesome guy who’s gonna make your stay a thousand times better! He’s gonna give you tips for places to see, places to eat at and he’s gonna be charming and funny while doing go it. He really made our only day in Victoria worth it, we had no idea about all the opportunities. Also the flat is awesome, the room was cozy with everything we needed and the terrace with the view was stunning.

For a longer stay it’s not so much private and there’s no kitchen to be used (you can make tea and coffee and put stuff into a refrigerator, but cooking is not allowed. Although I think if you really need to there’s always a way to talk with Giancarlo :) )

Giancarlo is a really kind and open hearted person. He was kind enough to offer us an adaptor and made sure we were not missing anything. The terrace was spacious and nice to chill in the evening with a stunning view of the citadel.

The bed was a little small for a couple. I think it was 140cm. For side sleepers it can get tricky. The many automated texts with many rules. E.g. not using the kitchen. Giancarlo wants to avoid misunderstandings. I understand that but it can give the wrong impression if you have not met him in person yet.

The property La Fenice by Giancarlo is a great place for a successful holiday on Gozo. Helpful, friendly and contactable landlord Giancarlo. The stylish Maltese interior, the large terrace and the 2 adorable Chihuahua guarantee a holiday atmosphere. Clean and tidy. The property is located on one of the main roads but is quiet and peaceful before the holiday season. Easy access to bus stops, shops and restaurants. Shared living room allows you to spend evenings together with other guests over a glass of local wine. An ideal base for exploring the whole island

I can only say wonderful things about this accommodation. The owner Giancarlo is fantastic; even before my arrival, he reached out to provide me with all the essential details for reaching the apartment. He even went the extra mile by personally picking me up from the port. His insights on local landmarks, must-see attractions, and top dining spots were very appreciated. The room itself is beautiful with a lovely traditional touch. But the real gem is the terrace, affording a direct, breathtaking view of the Cittadella. As for the location, it couldn't be more ideal – just a leisurely 15-minute walk to the heart of the city and the main bus station, offering access to all the connections. Opting for this accommodation was a fantastic choice, and a wonderful experience.

The Property was Clean, Well Equipped and Giancarlo was a superb host and bent over backwards to offer us advice of where to go both in Gozo and Malta as well as where to eat and avoid. The Outside Balcony was a good place to chill in the evening with some drinks and good views of the nearby Citadel. Location wise it's good and located quite near to the bus terminal and a small shopping centre. There are a selection of Resturants, Bars and a supermarket a few minutes walk away which is good is you want somewhere quieter than the main centre of Victoria which is still very accessible from here.

There is nothing really to say here. It's worth noting that this is a B&B and not a Hotel. This wasn't a problem for us but if you're new to B&Bs it involves negotiation on times with the host (Giancarlo has to run a retail business). We missed our meeting time as we got on the wrong bus but even still Giancarlo was accommodating offering us somewhere we could leave our bags for a few hours if we wished until he could next meet up with us.

Giancarlo was absolutely amazing, kind and helpful. There was no problem with communication, he even helped us plan trips and he was very hospitable. The accommodation was also fine, beautiful, great location, the room was clean and the common areas as well. There was also no problem with shared bathroom, it was alsways clean. 10/10 if we go to Gozo again we know where to stay :D

Giancarlo made this stay a most memorable one. His hospitality and sharing of knowledge and providing recommendations of the island was invaluable. The view from the balcony was even better at night. His place is cleaner than spotless. I was very impressed with his commitment to water and electrical conservation. The only item that could be improved would be the softness of the bed. The bed was very firm. But...it did not prevent me from sleeping and i slept very well. Saving the best till last...parking! There was free parking available near by so I did not have to park on the street. I would 110% recommend this stay
