Location was good on the River. We took the city bus every day to Times Square (30-60 minutes depending on if you got the 9am or earlier express) Liquor store, subway, Wendy’s and Duncan donuts accross the street. Safe, secure and great value. Would stay again.

Many people at the hotel take the bus to NY. If you miss the express you must walk a mile to catch it at another stop. Download the New Jersey transit app to pay . Our room was only cleaned once during the week stay.

-Nature around - The comfy bed - devices worked well (fridge adjustable up tofreezing, microwave timer wasn't on but worked well, AC, WIFI was great, tv) - Value for money - Coffee machine in the room and supplies on request I extended my stay from 2 to 3 weeks. Was great to see the sunset daily from this spot. I didn;t have issues with room services as other reviews - some convenient shops and subway around, and othe 20 minutes walking distance from some good shops (CVS, farm..etc)

- Everything was noisey (location between two high ways, AC v noisy) but I survived by using ear plugs. - The room isolation was realy poor -No kettle - I can't say the location was perfect. I felt it was isolated inspite the bus stop was 11 minuets walk to NY and NJ. - Reception guys need to be more friendly and quick. I didn't llike the way to respond to problems or requests. (e.g I asked for empty the trash, the guy said just leave them out of the room and they will change it, I reported an insect in the room, the lady said its an outdoor property and these things are expected). Also they don't put on a smile for everyone).It was challenging to request anything from the reception

Our room was in the back with a waterfront view of both bridges, so it was very peaceful. It also had a gazebo and bench with lots of areas for my dogs to be walked as well as complimentary pet waste stations that included bags. The sunset from the gazebo/bench area was gorgeous. There was also a complimentary ice machine available 24/7 as well as convenient vending machines on site. Just across the street in the front of rooms was a Dunkin Donuts and a Wendy's, as well as a few other restaurants. It was minutes away from a corner store and pizza place and less than 15-20 minutes to Times Square. Very convenient and cozy.

The check in process was a little slow. I believe they only had 1 person working and it's possible the computer may have been at fault. She seemed knowledgeable, so I don 't believe it was anything she could have done to speed it up. But I did wait probably half a hour for the 2 people in front of me to check in. I had just come in there 30 minutes before check in and told her I would go waste time till 4pm. She didn't offer to check me in early. Had she done so, we wouldn't all have been in line at the same time.

Loved the water bridge view room was small but nice size bed very comfortable slept very well room was very clean

The only thing I didn’t like about the property was the animal smell outside smelled pee in some areas in front of the building and the room although clean….in the room was musky but not super strong ….smelled great when I got their but then the musky smell was starting to float around after the 2nd or 3rd day but wasn’t a deal breaker for me

My dream has always been to visit NYC. When I was diagnosed with cancer my family and I hopped in the car and made the trip. I booked through booking.com and got an exceptional rate. The location and hotel was amazing. It was even on the water with a little gazebo which was nice. The staff were great.

I did not like that booking and the hotel charged a deposit. Usually when using booking the deposit if included there's not usually another. The coke machine was not accepting cards other than that everything was perfect.

the room was super clean and the Bed was very comfortable I love the Front desk attendant who worked the check out morning around 11 :16 a/n she was friendly a reassuring when i thought I was going to be charged for checking out a few minutes after checkout time. She also had given me some complimentary toothpaste after being told from the previous front desk attendant that they had none which would of saved me a trip to the grocery store only to loose the toothpaste but was reluctant to have the Curteous and Kind Front desk attendant give me a few for me and my daughter she need a RAISE ! a true GEM t:o have working at RED ROOF INN PLUS ! MAKE SURE that this acknowledgment goes to the right attendant ok I do know she worked 5/26/24 around 11:20 a.m.!

I truly didn't like the fact that check out time is at 4 pm . Or you will be charged an extra 30 bucks for an early check in and check out is at 11 a.m. when the site said 12 so I did not like the fact that I had to leave and come back to avoid the charge . I'.m a saver so I just came back after I enjoyed myself in NYC then came back later, i don't like that there's no reliable transportation to ride into NYC on the weekend they have one accessible bus that runs every hr and the last bus leaving NYC is at 11:30 but besides that It was cool for a one night stay

We love everything about this property, from the location to the people, to the scenery. The price is very affordable, which makes it possible to do other things on your list while visiting. This is our 2nd time staying here and we will be back again for sure! The grounds are kept clean and there are lots of different birds there, if you like birds. There are a couple of geese, husband and wife, (I'm sure). I was happy to see them again when we returned, they seem to live there. There are cardinals, ducks, blue jays, robins, sparrows, sterlings, just to name a few. It's right on the water and the lights are so pretty at night when they light up the water. The scenery is beautiful.

Always be aware of your surroundings just like anywhere on the planet.

Honestly, I would normally never bring a 9 yr old to a red roof. This one was very clean, there were other families around, and it felt safer than any red roof I have been in before. The outside is your typical "Oh no, here we go." The room was great. The tub had normal wear and tear, not many channels for tv. The location was amazing. We stayed here due to distance from the American Dream Mall.

Could have provided more towels/wash cloths. Late night check-in was a little confusing due to rooms that were already given away, but the woman at the desk was patient and explained everything as she went.

The room was comfortable, it's a great spot if you are going to MetLife events and do not want to stay in NYC. The cost was perfect, having kids made it affordable since kids stay free. Travel from the American Dream Mall and Metlife is cost-efficient when taking an Uber if you do not have a car.

One of our pillow covers had a small stain, but they were able to change it and give us a new one.

The staff were very kind and friendly. The hotel was not the best one, but it was a very good one for the money I paid for 14 days. I just needed a comfortable, safe and clean place to stay in and I got it. The location was good as well and I needed 10 minutes to get to the bus station and 20 more minutes by bus for getting to Times Square. I will surely recommend this hotel.
