The room was big and very comfortable. It's a tranquil place in the middle of hassle and bustle ,everything on your doorstep.

The hotel is not prepared for foreign tourists who do not speak English. The restaurant service is very slow,seriously 20min for scramble eggs..Last day we missed breakfast as the waiter brought only one portion and we were so annoyed we left.Be aware that there are free options and paid for breakfast. We have only found out about it during the second day..The staff requires customer service training!

I booked this hotel as I was leaving later in the day and needed something cheaper for half a day, but I truly wish I could stay at least a night. Although the room I had was small and minimal it would have been perfect for a solo traveler for a night. What I absolutely loved was the courtyard inside with trees and hammocks everywhere, I made sure to take advantage of it for a little bit. The location is amazing, basically walking out onto the beach minutes away.

The room could have been a little better decorated and it was right outside of reception and other side was the restaurant so it would have been a bit noisy. But the price was excellent!

Incredibly helpful staff, nice breakfast, but room (#13) was quite noisy with loud music from cars going by well into the early hours. Normally this is not a problem, but we were heading out to hike to the Lost City the next day and were a bit stressed...but all turned out fine!

Excessive car noise as our room faced the street, and also there is no A/C in the check in area. As we waited for our room to be ready (we got there a little early), it was incredibly hot with only one fan running which an elderly couple were using.

The staff was incredibly good and helpful, the hotel is spotless clean, the food is very good and the beds are very comfortable. I stayed at a 4 bed room, the room comes with air conditioning and TV with cable and streaming services, two closets and one bathroom with shower. The hotel also provides towels. The room was kept clean and tidy by the staff every day!

The plugs on the wall were not easily reachable as they were located behind the header of the bed.

The colonial style hotel is perfectly located for visiting historical Santa Marta, along with being just across the street from an expansive clean beach area. It's a short (10 minute) walk to the Plaza de los Novios which is surrounded by small restaurants and bars. The staff was very friendly and helpful; the gardens and property are tropical and well-maintained.

I would prefer hot water in the rooms which are otherwise well-appointed. The breakfast was nicely presented but lacked variety over a 3-day stay.

It’s really beautiful and close to the walking streets. And the ocean in front. Also museums although I never found them open.

I think they should supply breakfast. Most places in Colombia have. This was my most expensive hotel. My room was pretty small I asked for an upgrade because the hotel seemed pretty empty. But no.

Fantastic hotel, located in the heart of Santa Marta, opposite the marina and the spot where all the daily trips for Tyrona begin, just at the start of the coastal pedestrian road. It has an enclosed front yard with a patio for breakfast, food and drinks, internal pretty yard and extremely helpful service people.

Don't think you can get any better!

Perfect location, close to the beach and the city centre. Very quite and safe at night. Fantastic staff at the reception!

If you get the bedroom at ground level, you might have to deal with some mosquitos, ants and other friendly insects in the room. The windows doesn’t have shutters, so there is quite a bit of light coming through.

This sweet little colonial hotel is near the beach. The rooms are cute and the location is perfect. There wasn’t very much selection for breakfast, but what we had was good. 8/10

The air conditioner didn’t work very great. The water pressure was an excellent there was no warm water.

The location of this gem is ideal. It is on the malecon but tucked in off the street so it is relaxing and quiet. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. The restaurant has superb food and the breakfasts are a highlight. We will be coming back. The hotel is close to everything and we walked everywhere and took a taxi to playa blanca for the day.
