Much better than expected, I booked two rooms one for me and my husband and one for my daughter’s family, theirs had a kitchenette which was a surprise. Great family and pet friendly as we had a dog with us, the central courtyard with the pool was amazing.

The only thing that was a little bit inconvenient was the fact we couldn’t park outside our room as my husband is disabled and uses a wheelchair but having said that we booked very last minute so we were just happy to get two rooms for the night! Kids said the pool was a bit cold, didn’t seem to deter them though!

On our last night here, we wanted to enjoy sitting outside by the pool. But there were hoards of kids screaming in the pool and running around screaming outside of the pool, as well as running around & screaming all over the second floor and this was at 10pm. It would've been nice if staff enforced the rules of the pool closing at 9:30pm, so that people could have had peace and quiet while sitting in that area; not to mention the people that are vacating the suites by the pool.

The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and there were plenty of electrical outlets handy to the bed and table. A 24 hour Tim Horton's was just across the street for my very early morning wake-ups.

As a tub person, I got very excited about the deep bathtub. Unfortunately, the hot water was ice cold and took a long time to heat up. It also reverted to cold quickly once shut off, so made it impossible to warm the bath water as it cooled. I assume Sahara must have a hot water on-demand system. For a shower person, it would have been okay.

I needed to book last minute accommodation and not only was it available late at night, but I was able to communicate with this facility as well as they were able to assist me with a contactless check in at quarter to midnight. Room was more spacious than expected and location was both quiet and convenient distance from the office. Very happy with all aspects of the stay

They did a great job renovating this hotel and adding new bathroom fixtures and room furniture. Honestly, I've seen few done better. They had also equipped each room with a microwave and a bar fridge. You could stay awhile with convenience.

My only regret was that in late June, the pool (which thankfuly was even open) was pretty cold, a little heating would have been great!

This motel is in a great location. Small room but they have been renovated and we're really nice and clean. Bed was great too. This is the perfect motel if you are looking for a place that is inexpensive, clean and close to downtown and the beach. Even has a Tim Hortons a ross the street! We are definitely going to book here again when we are in the area!

We loved the pool. Also, we discovered that there are a couple BBQ’s you can use which is fantastic. We stayed in suite 246 which is in the corner by the tree. It was lovely and shaded. The full kitchen and master bedroom were such a treat and made our trip so much more affordable because we were able to dine in instead of going to restaurants. The staff were very friendly. This property is in the midst of renovation and you can see just how lovely it will be when it is all completed, a gem in the corner of the heart of the city. It is right across from a Tim Hortons and a quick trek by foot to the boardwalk along the lake. A fantastic evening stroll to see all the beautiful public art installations and to grab a bucket of mini donuts for a snack as you enjoy the view.

Very conveniently located-Adjacent to gas station and 24 hours open convenience store, 3 minutes walking distance to Tim Hortons, A&W snd so much more! Okanagan lake and Penticton Rose Garden is a 10 minutes walk! 100% good value for money!

The pool was great. We used it multiple times a day. Other motel guests did not respect the property or even follow the guides of no food in the pool area. They left garbage and chewed or spilled food everywhere. The room was clean and well stocked with kitchen items, though there was no microwave which seemed odd.

There was no top lock on the motel door which my toddler was able to just grab the handle and let himself out the room.

The pool was very clean. It was quiet, the staff was very accommodating and they had BBQs for guests to use and patio furniture. Very comfortable and great location. Full size fridge and ac works great. Very nice stay! 😊
