It was a nice lil motel right across the road from a 24hr chip shop. So easy for uber drivers and delivery to find the door. I didn't have to leave outside of work reasons at all. The little biscuits that came with the tea and coffee were great. The smart Tv made it easy to watch some of the streaming services I have accounts for.

The all in one soap for body, hand washing, shampoo and dish washing was a little funny, could do with proper dish soap for washing in the bathroom sink.

The Owner is really nice and helpful. We got a free upgrade and had a spacious room. It's around 5 minutes away from the greyhoundstation and close to the citycentre. The laundry is just across the street, but make sure you have coins. The motel doesn't have a guestlaundry.

The wifi was not working properly and you could hear other guests, but all in all we enjoyed our stay and would definitly go back.

Room was great, really spacious and had everything I needed. The guy on reception was nice and had a good chat.

Reception was barely open I only saw them once in 3 nights but I never really needed anything and he was really nice when I did see him.

Close to CBD. In it in fact. Where the motel is it is very industrial. The manager was lovely and very helpful.. very welcoming with clear written instructions. Comfortable mattress.

Everything is functional and very clean and big. Lots of room but no decor, all grey and a bit dated and stark.

I have stayed in many Motels and Hotels in the past but The Matilda Motel in Bundaberg is simply the BEST that I have ever stayed in. The Rooms are so clean and are fitted out with everything you could ever want. The Bed was so comfortable and plenty of pillows and covers. The Air conditioning was awesome so you could snuggle up in bed and watch television or a movie with a glass of wine 🍷 or two. I really didn't want to leave today but I will definitely be back. All the staff was amazing and couldn't have been any more helpful and pleasant. Thank you ! Chris Williams 0419300079

The Matilda Motel is located in the heart of Bundaberg CBD, it is very clean and all of the amenities we required were provided. The motel is quiet, the pool is clean and private and the bed was very comfy.

The motel had an excellent location and was easy to find. Shops etc. were in easy walking distance. In spite of our unit being beside the busy road, we found it to be very quiet. We received a warm welcome from the host and the bed was very comfortable.

There was no hand basin in the shower room so the same basin had to be used for personal washing and also crockery etc. It was not a major problem though.

Very welcoming and helpful Manager. Centrally located and as I was travelling alone with no car found it easy to get around. Some very good breakfasts close by.

Had everything I required. Nothing I didn’t like.

Ali was super kind and friendly. After hour check in was perfectly organised and gave me a clear instruction. Room was nice and clean. Location was great and I really liked the little book made by Matilda Motel, introducing Bundaberg attractions and restaurants. I was happy with everything and will come back for sure!
