I foremost liked the room with fireplace, as well as the quietness. Breakfast was average - basically, what almost all hotels offer.

Most people's first action after a long drive and signing into a hotel is getting to the room for a bathroom break. Don't have staff knocking on the door within minutes of a guest entering their room because some announcement has been forgotten to be given to the quest during sign in. Having to answer the door because of persistent knocking while in the bathroom is extremely obnoxious. Just give everyone a half hour of space before knocking on a guest's door.

The breakfast selection was good and the ladies working in the area were very attentive

The ladies did not speak Englis which made communication difficult. You ran out of coffee cups on a Saturday morning. That may seem like a small thing...it's not. You offer free breakfast but one coffee machine didn't work Friday morning and there were no cuos Saturday morning. No coffee or cups is unacceptable

We chose the La Quinta by Wyndham St. Albans for its location -- we were coming to view the April 8 2024 total solar eclipse and the hotel, with its generous parking areas and broad expanses of lawn provided us with an excellent place to view the eclipse, while able to to walk from our room to the viewing area without needing to use our car for the entire two nights and busy eclipse day. Absolutely wonderful (and the eclipse was spectacular as well).

Location was exceptional for our business needs and the Inn was great. We will use this Inn again for returning to the project site in St. Albans.

The Fitness Center could have opened earlier -- perhaps when breakfast starts at 6:30 -- rather than 8:00. Also, the Inn could use a functioning Bar/Lounge -- looks like the breakfast loung is set up for it already?

Staff was friendly and professional. The breakfast and lobby was wonderful. Beds were comfortable. Room was at a great temp when we got there and it was a nice bonus to have the refrigerator already on and cold.

Bathroom wasn’t as clean as I would have liked. Not horrible but needed a bit more attention. Door was banged up. It looked as though someone had tried to break in. The pool looked to have been filled to much. Water everywhere. And they said they didn’t except cash which I guess I understand because you use a credit card to hold the room but if I didn’t have a credit card or debit card i should still be able to walk in and pay cash for a room.

The location is good. Right off the exit and that makes it easy for travelers. They are experiecing a renovation which makess it kinda funky, but they are wrking through it well.

No Vending Machines. Also the experience, and anxiety, of looking at the State of Vermont's Operation Lisence in the elevator showing the experation date was 3/9/2024, we wre there on 3/16/2024.

Breakfast selection went down day by day..We enjoyed the English muffins, would have been nice to have real jam and anything other than grape jelly, cream cheese was available on the last day for the bagels..cereal selection was for kids after day 2

Room service each day would be nice with fresh towels. Also, more than one set of towels to begin with. Shower soaps and dispenser were broken. Pancakes machine did not work.

Fairly quiet. I liked that the pool hours were long. Not crazy about the stairs, but that's okay.

It was difficult to find the ice machine. There should be a note in the room as to where it is. It sounded like someone tried to open my door a few times.

Good breakfast served every morning - friendly staff - nice pool area and water was pretty warm most of the time.

Room size wasn't sufficient for 4 adults & 1 child - no sleeper sofa and not much extra space. Construction/remodeling being done on 2nd floor during stay.
