We absolutely LOVED our two-night stay at this hotel. The parking is free and right in front of the entrance. This lodge gives you the feeling of being at your own cottage. The public space is really beautiful with the overhead balcony, the elegant stairway and the cozy chairs and sofas plus the fireplace. There are games and books and the place is calm and welcoming. The kitchen and dining room are a plus and you can prepare your own meals and minggle with other guests. The bedroom was spacious, very clean, the bedsheets very comfortable and the same for the towels. We had a fireplace and a jacuzzi bathtub.

1) The description of the resort mentionned that our room (WEAVER) would have a television and cable channels; however there was none in our room and none in the common area. Is it a big deal? No, but since there is nothing around, we would have appreciated to have one. 2) Also know, that you absolutely need a car if you plan to stay at this lodge; no restaurant, no convenience store, etc. within walking distance. 3) There is no employee on the premises; a couple speaking french only, needed our help to get the code from the owner, whom was very nice and appreciated our efforts.

The place was gorgeous and in a perfect position to visit the area. Our room was luminous and spacious. Common areas include a fully functional kitchen and multiple resting spots. Access to the property is automatized with codes and works smoothly.

I had a question about check-in and texted the property via Booking before arriving; no one replied. Our room was right on top of the kitchen; someone started cooking heavily at 9 p.m., and a strong grill-like smell pervaded our room for the entire night.

I loved the self check-in to a beautiful, quiet lodge surrounded by nature. Only a few minutes off the main highway for convenience while traveling, yet it felt a long ways away. It was a great price for the room. I loved the screened in balcony, the buddhas, and the view. I would definitely return!

I missed having a bathtub, but it was ok because we were only there for one quick night, and we got the last room available and it just happened to not have that feature. There were also some decorative lights strung outside in the balcony area that were nice for ambiance while awake, but a bit bright in the room for sleep. To be fair, I didn't investigate if there was a way to turn them off or unplug them... there may have been.

The property was very clean! Check in was easy. The large gathering space and dining area had plenty of seating for everyone that was staying.

We were on the third floor....just beautiful except there are only partial curtains and no blinds for the large window in the bedroom. I understand not wanting to block the view but the light was pouring in at 6:00 AM- no sleeping in. Some type of covering would have been nice to allow guests to sleeping in if they'd like.

Unusual facility and concept; more like a small lodge or retreat with no physical staff. It has very nice wood flooring and paneling throughout; out of the way, very near a state park, no televions anywhere, a fairly recent build. A huge main room; a fully equipped communal kitchen; and a washer/dryer for guests. About 8 or 10 rooms only. It operates like a cross between an AirBNB (though it is not this) and a very small hotel with no staff to speak of but people are on-call.

We loved everything about this property! The kitchen was so beautiful we had grocery’s delivered just so I could cook 😊 (which wasn’t in our plans) Our suite was super clean and spacious, beautifully decorated. The common area was warm and inviting the entire place exceeded my expectations!

I didn’t mind, but the rest of my party thought it odd and not ideal that their was no TV I however thought it was nice and fitting not to have the distraction of television.

Beautiful lodge. Great room. Wonderful kitchen and shared common spaces.

There is one thing that MUST be changed. Then this would easily be a perfect rating. We were in the sailor room. There was a huge floodlight just outside our window. The curtains didn’t cover the window meaning that the room was very bright at night. The floodlight should be removed or blackout drapes need to be put in that room. Everything else was wonderful.

The lodge is gorgeous and so peaceful! You can tell that the staff wants it to be a positive experience - the atmosphere is very warm, and the space is clean. We spent a few hours reading on the balcony/loft inside, and it was cozy and a wonderful way to wind down. The hosts are very kind and available as well!

The mattress we had was a bit too firm for our liking, so it was difficult to sleep. The people downstairs also didn't respect the quiet hours set, and so we could hear them talking throughout the night - turning on the bathroom fan helped this!

It's very remote so you need to like this kind of place but it was fantastic and you're actually downtown Klatsburg in about ten minute drive so it's not really that remote. It's beautiful, quaint Lenny's definitely not your typical hotel.

It's completely self service and there is absolutely nothing in terms of amenities except coffee for the morning that you have to make yourself but if you want a bag of chips you have to bring it from the nearby town. Understanding how to make the shower work was quite an ordeal.... They did put some instruction but that was definitely not sufficient! We were there in the winter and it was cold outside there was sadly in the middle room a very strong smell of oil from the heating system. Nevertheless I would return there in a second if I ever go back to Plattsburgh.

What didn't we like! The is a huge lodge with an assortment of rooms, some with Jacuzzis & fireplaces, sliders to private deck or balcony. The room itself is large with a large bathroom & separate toilet with a bidet! The bed - soooo comfortable (the mattress, pillows, comforter - ahhhh!), & the towels were plush. There is a huge great room which you enter & the bedrooms are either off the hallway or upstairs. There are cozy sitting areas, game cabinet, huge fireplace & lots of windows making this a warm & inviting room. Down one hallway is a dining room that leads into a well stocked kitchen (bring your own food to cook if you like). There's also a cozy den with an assortment of books, & wine glasses (bring wine!). Outside there's a huge screened-in gazebo, there's a fire pit, & Lake Champlain is down the road! I highly recommend this beautiful lodge!
