Our room was comfortable, clean, and reasonably modern. We had an accessible room which was more spacious than the average room. The hotel staff were always polite and helpful. We had a quick check-in and check-out. The hotel provided breakfast, which offered many options for adults and children. The staff kept it well stocked and the area clean. Their coffee machines were lovely! The location is excellent, especially if you are visiting SUNY Plattsburgh. It is conveniently located near many shopping facilities as well, including Walmart, Kohl's, Price Chopper, Lowe's, and many more.

The only thing I would mention is that our bathroom sink drained slowly. It wasn't a mess, but something to take into account.

I had requested two extra pillows online and again at the property upon check in, as I have a kidney stone causing pain and ER doctor said I needed extra pillows for back comfort. I NEVER received any and none were in my room and. O one came with any. I don’t like to keep bothering the front desk clerk since he said it be no problem and wasn’t sure why booking dufnt relay my message to the hotel

Everything from the moment I arrived was amazing. The staff was more than helpful, I dealt with four different people during my stay and each one of them were professional, polite, friendly, etc… that is not some thing I’ve experienced in any hotel. I arrived before check-in and asked if there was a bathroom type place where I could freshen up change my clothes, etc. before meeting my family and friends for lunch. It had been a 5 1/2 hour drive. Thankfully, she was able to check me in two hours early. I wouldn’t have ever thought I would get in my room early. Then I had left a note at the front desk that night asking if there was any type of a late check out that I could get and I was willing to pay. The front desk called my room to tell me that I could absolutely have a late check out for free. I travel quite a bit all over the place and never have I been so pleased with every single aspect of my stay. From the parking, the staff, the clean super comfortable room, just everything. I look forward to staying there again.

Nothing but if I had to say something, I would just say that I couldn’t find an ice machine. 😁

Good breakfast, very pleasant woman working at breakfast, pleasant cleaning staff, comfortable beds, various pillow thicknesses, clean hotel, convenient parking and location. We had a problem with the thermostat and the woman promptly and pleasantly came to change the batteries.

-The pool area was a bit drafty, making the pool a little cool. I think they should find a way to warm up the pool area a bit more. -Needed a mat for boots in the room; when the snow melts on the bottom of your boots, it makes the floor wet. Obviously this only applies to winter.

Pros: Staff was very friendly, beds were comfy, decor was modern. Breakfast was pretty good. There were pancakes, Cinnamon rolls, eggs, sausages, biscuits, bagels, toast, yogurt, cereal, fruit cups, juice, coffee and tea. Overall would stay again, I would just want them to try to fix the smell. Everything else was perfect.

Cons: Every time we entered the room, there was a humidity/moldy smell in there. That was very disappointing. The carpets maybe need a very big deep cleaning perhaps? The smell wasn't too bothersome after 10-15 mins of being in the room though (we got used to it). Overall would stay again, I would just want them to try to fix the smell. Everything else was perfect.

The hotel was very clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were immaculate, and the bed was extremely comfortable. A nice touch was having Dove brand shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the shower. (Compared to a no-name brand that I wouldn't normally use). I normally stay in Marriotts or Hamptons when traveling. However, the Holiday Inn Express blew them out of the water. Will definitely be my go to hotel moving forward.

Small quiet hotel. Great location, a few minutes from the stores and restaurants. The 2 queen beds are very comfortable and the blackout blinds are great. Breakfast is simple and good we appreciated it. The pool is heated to 80 degrees and the times that we've been there it didn't have many people in it. The small gym has machines with tv screens. Check out at 12pm is great so you don't have to rush. Coffee offered all day long. The price per night is good for a safe and comfortable (no frills) place to stay. I would recommend it.

Small bathroom and sink is outside of the bathroom. Breakfast ends at 9am on weekdays which is early for us. Sometimes the good breakfast food runs out early. No water fountains in the hotel just an ice machine.

Location was perfect. Staff was attentive. Everything was clean. Bed was comfortable. Water was hot. Loved the Dove soap and body lotion.

Breakfast wasn’t very good. Very processed foods. Husband didn’t even want to have the included breakfast after our first day there. Shower/bathroom was very small. If you are an obese person I don’t think you will fit behind the door to close it when trying to use the toilet.

Staff are ver friendly starting from the receptionist to the the room cleaners and the breakfast staff, when you open your eyes in the morning and get your breakfast and see smiles to your face and a nice good morning said to you and ask you to have a wonderful day…. Definitely this make my days.

The location is really beautiful, very clean, good breakfast with excellent smell of coffee that refresh your mood, very organized, and close to a big shop point

Every employee we encountered was very nice and did everything they could to meet our expectations. The room was clean. The beds were comfy. There was coupons for 10% off at Texas Roadhouse at the check in counter but I ended up forgetting it at the restaurant... Overall very good bang for the buck. The breakfast menu is minimal but decent. It was plenty enough for us.

On the downside, seating is very minimal in the breakfast room area. (I believe around 35 places) As a family of 4, we ended up having breakfast in the lobby.
