We came to Molino del Santo on a friend’s recommendation, intending to stay a few nights - we stayed for eight. Carmen and Martin’s personal approach to hospitality and the friendliness of all the staff, made us feel instantly at home in this very special place. The uniqueness of this small hotel itself was a delight - the preserved mill with its huge fire place (lit every evening and on wet days) formed the heart of the place, together with the extensive terrace, by the dramatic mill stream. The food was outstanding with varied menus catering for all tastes, appetites and pockets. Each room had a balcony or terrace and combined privacy and comfort with wonderful vistas across the garden to the mountains. Molino del Santo sits comfortably in the landscape and community, served by the Ronda to Algeciras railway. We dipped into the library of books left by former guests and also enjoyed the extensive library of reference books and maps which informed our activities and whet our appetite for future visits.

Location: The hotel is nestled in a picturesque valley, offering stunning views and a serene atmosphere. It’s an ideal spot for nature lovers and those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. Service: The staff at Molino Del Santo were incredibly welcoming and attentive. From the moment we arrived, we felt like valued guests. The personalized service was a standout feature. Accommodation: The rooms were comfortable, clean, and tastefully decorated. The rustic charm combined with modern amenities made for a very pleasant stay. Dining: The on-site restaurant served delicious meals with a focus on local ingredients. Breakfast by the river was a highlight, and the dinner menu offered a variety of exquisite dishes. Amenities: The hotel boasts a lovely pool area, perfect for relaxing on warm days. The garden and terrace spaces are beautifully maintained and provide a peaceful retreat. Activities: There are plenty of activities available, from hiking trails to exploring nearby towns. The hotel staff were helpful in arranging excursions and providing recommendations.

Accessibility: Due to its secluded location, reaching the hotel can be a bit challenging, especially for those not used to driving on narrow, winding roads. Nearby Attractions: There's not much to do in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. The nearest restaurants and attractions are in Ronda, which is a 15-minute drive away. Insects: Being close to nature, there were a few insects around, which is to be expected but might be bothersome to some guests.

Fabulous place, beautiful location, food was fabulous, buffet breakfast plentiful and lovely (toaster was a bit hit and miss, some mornings worked perfectly, others took ages to toast!). Although everything is good, the management and staff were fabulous. Friendly, engaging, knowledgable about the area and nothing was too much trouble. Close to some amazing places, caves, Ronda (train is a short walk away), Setenil de las Bodegas, vineyards, olive groves, mountains, local tapas and restaurant.

As much as everything was really lovely and comfortable, I do think that a room spruce up is a bit overdue However given the challenges over the last few years, I understand it may not be top of the priority list.

Beautiful, green landscaped accommodation. Easy access to the restaurant from the accommodation or the pool. Delicious menu and drinks. Very friendly staff! Extremely hygienic. A great place to relax. Beautiful natural areas nearby.

We had a very bad bed, with the metal springs being strongly noticeable. As a result, we slept poorly for a few nights. To improve this, a mattress topper in this room is highly recommended!

Wonderful location tucked away in a quiet mountain village. Beautiful property, only 20 minutes away from Ronda with a host of outdoor activities nearby. Peaceful - The sound of falling water gently rocked us to sleep each night. Very friendly and helpful staff all around. Very good restaurant- excellent breakfast and dinner. Clean, comfortable, spacious room. We had a wonderful stay.

This was most certainly one of the best places I have ever stayed in. It is an old mill house reconstructed for accomodation but you can still see the incredible old mechanisms. Very clean, super beautiful inside as well as the outside. Relaxing by the pool is just a must. Dining next to the stream of water is just as romantic as it gets. If you enjoy tranquillity and peace, this is the place to be...

The beds are short with soft matrases, double bed has one french sheet instead of two single sheets. This place is really hidden, si I dont think its accesable by anything but a car, but that is what it makes so perfect I would say.

Lovely hotel on the edge of the national park. Very comfortable. Everyone working there were extremely friendly and helpful. Delicious breakfasts and great restaurant. Lots of helpful information about local walks - something for every level. Local train station a short walk away meant easy excursions into Ronda or other places.

Nothing. It was all great.

Staff were Friendly. Evening Food was delicious.

Breakfast: Serving Tea and Coffee could be quicker. Food good but we were not made aware that cooked eggs were available. Service was slow but competent. It would have been helpful if we had been told where the Buffet was located!

The whole experience at Molino was a joy, from the friendly greeting, to the sad goodbye. The ambiance, food, gardens, and wonderful staff were exceptional. Not sure I would like everyone to know about it, as I would love to keep this special spot to myself.

You can’t improve on perfection… please change nothing.
