Everything about it was so luxurious, just a different world from anything I’d experienced before. Being right there looking out over the waterfall was amazing. But everything was exceptional. The staff were welcoming, so attentive and really went out of their way to make everything perfect. Little touches like champagne, chocolates and little gifts were so special. And the food at both restaurants was sublime.

The shower in the accessible room really wasn’t suitable for a wheelchair user unable to stand. They had told me there was an accessible hotel shuttle bus but this turned out not to be suitable for a wheelchair user and involved a very difficult transfer out of my wheelchair.

The location within the park is fantastic. It is just a few steps from the hotel entrance to a waterfalls viewpoint and you can explore the Brazilian side of the falls outside of the public park hours (this is not something you can do properly on the Argentinian side if you stay at the Gran Melia). The hotel itself is beautiful and decorated to a very high standard (I don’t agree with some of the other reviews that have previously said the interiors are a bit tired). There are a lot of different areas inside and outside to relax in, and the pool and gym are both good. We enjoyed our meals in both restaurants and the breakfast options were exceptional. The service was flawless and the staff were all super friendly and helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend staying here.

Exclusive access to Iguazu falls before and after opening hours. The hotel was everything and more than you would expect. Yes, it is expensive but worth every cent for the experience - remember it includes the park entrance. The hotel shuttle was great to get to and from main entrance and they even drove us the extra distance to the helicopter take off area. Bottled/canned water provided at every opportunity (on shuttle, in airport pickup, at entrance to hotel), private entrance to park, private toilet at entrance to park, Rooms were comfortable, clean and had great views. Staff were exceptional - friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble.

The food was incredible. The hotel and rooms were beautiful. The location was amazing. Most of the staff were incredible. The welcome to the hotel property and send off was wonderful. Some of the staff went above and beyond with service. It’s definitely a splurge. Take advantage of the property and explore the trail to the falls, and keep an eye out for toucans.

We had a short stay and in an ideal situation it would’ve been relaxing. However when we had an issue with pests we communicated it with 3 staff members and it wasn’t addressed immediately until we got the supervisor involved. That was disappointing but the supervisor did the best he could to take care of it with the resources available, and the management made steps to make it right and take care of us. Tip: keep your curtains closed at night especially if you have lights on in the room I would skip the fall facing rooms. The falls were so small from the fall facing room and we were so busy out doing stuff or trying to keep the bugs out that we didn’t really look through the windows.

the only flaw is the much hyped "high level" restaurant. It is a would -be Michelin star-level with the nice presentations , but noweher near the justification forth eprice and portions. Recommend to lower the prices and the expectations, or change the cuisine.

Liked · The best hotel in Brazil for seeing Iguazu Falls. Simply walk across the road to the falls. Excellent dinner buffet. Excellent breakfast buffet. The pool was nice, with a unique deep area in the middle. Access to the falls was simply walking out the front door. You do not have to buy tickets to the National Park to get to the hotel. The coati's wandering around looking for a hand-out.

The stay was perfect, great service, facilities, location, etc. compliments to the staff of the hotel! However, one small thing worth mentioning is a boat trip to the Iguazu falls. The trip was facilitated by concierge office at the hotel for which we had to pay some extra fee but besides a short lift to the location of the boat service there were no further services proposed. Hence, fhere is no point to order a boat trip through the concierge office which charge extra fee for nothing.

This is one of the most unforgettable stays of my life—pure luxury, elegance, and exclusivity. Being the only hotel inside Iguazu National Park, it gave me rare access to the falls at golden hour, completely crowd-free. The property is stunning, the rooms refined, and the gardens immaculate. From airport pickup to spa, the staff were flawless—attentive, warm, and professional at every step. Dining was equally top-tier.

Yes, it’s expensive—but worth every penny for what is truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

This place is fantastic. The location is really the key selling point - it’s right in the National Park, and you have about two hours before and after everyone else leaves to explore at your own pace. I was able to have the entire falls viewing platform to myself one morning, which was an absolutely surreal experience given that when I went during normal hours the day prior, it was packed shoulder to shoulder with hundreds of people lined up and jostling each other for selfies. The hotel itself is perfect as well. It’s kept up extremely well, the room is spotless, bed is super comfortable. Nice pool area and facilities. The staff are all extremely helpful and friendly to boot.

Not a con per se, but all the above means it’s priced top of market. It is definitely a “splurge” property, but worth every penny in my opinion.

Location! Location! What an amazing experience it was!! Just beside the falls.. we had the opportunites to visit by the falls just by ourselves..the sunset view.. the sounds of the waterfall is just out of the world experience .. All the stuffs were very very professional, polite, friendly and helpful. Everything was beyond our expectations. Though it is expensive but worth every pennies. In my opinion, the price is high for the the location and it is totally understandable. Highly recommended! We had an excellent time over there.
