All facilities that we needed.

Couple of comments only to be of help to you.Shower drain was blocked with hair causing flooding in bathroom.Once I cleaned it out,all was fine.This may be something cleaning staff may need to watch for as there is not a lot of opening for water to run away.Obviously this was a recent renovation and the problem hadn't arisen before.PS. the fridge door opens the wrong way. The box gutter outside the bedroom window may be blocked as water was coming out the overflow instead of going down the downpipes and was noisy. Only a problem when it rains.

The accommodation for my friends (a couple) and me (a single) were very different. I had booked a single room but on arrival I discovered it was tiny, old and with few facilities. On paying an additional $80 I was upgraded to an excellent recently renovated room with a kitchenette, bathroom. My friends' room was similar but with no kitchenette. My recommendation is to be very careful when booking this motel. The rooms vary significantly.

Spacious, good facilities such as an oven as well as a microwave.

Only a single power point near the bed so no way of plugging in the bedside lamp and electric blankets. We bought a powerboard the first day which solved this problem. It would be great if this was supplied. We had to ask for dish washing equipment as there was no dishcloth, detergent or tea towel provided initially. There was no shampoo provided.

the room had a counter top for making coffee and light meals. a microwave was provided and dishes, including breakfast bowls, plus cutlery. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom nice and modern. The towels were good quality and they gave you a hand towel and flannel as well.

There was no tea towel. A small towel rail next to the basin would be nice. The room was a little small to put luggage in around the bed, so I would not have wanted to stay too long.

Have stayed at the Sturt Motel a few times now on different occasions. We were allocated room 6 this time and it was super spacious twin share with a gigantic bathroom! Would very much suit people with limited mobility, with just a small step into the room initially. Clean and comfortable, country hospitality. Staff on the phone are very helpful and it was a breeze to check in late at night. Lots of parking options too.

Nothing! Great value for money. Good location will stay again.

The room was clean. Location of the motel was great, however had to travel by car to get to my preferred locations, which was ok. Very quiet. There was no light problem as can occur in other such places. I had a restful sleep.

Nothing comes to mind. i was only there for one night, so it was suitable for that. Although it was easy to access the room key, it would have been nice to meet reception staff.

Fresh clean comfortable bedding All new and lovely. Missed no restaurant on Monday night but you have to have a rest as a family.

No mirrors except one in bathroom. Couldn’t see full length without standing on bath tub or a chair to check Bathroom needs some hooks and/ or shelving to keep the washer and stuff off the floor and some where to hang towel close to the shower. Not a complaint but there is an installation crack in bathroom window room 10 that should be covered by your builders warranty.

I needed Check-in after office working hours and called to give my details. Staff were not aware of my booking.com booking and told me that they need to cancel my booking due to my local address. This was NOT informed anywhere that only bookings outside of town are accepted. I was able to give a friend's address and keel booking. Reception staff seemed stressed and unfamiliar with booking.com bookings. Otherwise the facilities were good.

Surprisingly quiet being on a main road. It was a good location with an easy drive to head to Silverton, the Pro Hart Gallery, the Living Desert & Sculptures and the Mining Museum. Electric blankets were nice and the air-con heater worked a treat.

The bed was a bit tired from people sitting on it causing the edge to sag but it didn’t cause any issues with a good nights sleep. Water pressure in the shower wasn’t great.

Was in unit One. Liked the combo raindrop shower head and hand set. Ice cold filtered water dispenser in huge fridge. Bed was comfy and aircon was welcome on hotter then usual Spring days.

Oven was not clean as was underside of kitchen cabinets. Their staff were responsive to our requests on how to use the induction stove top however it took two sets of them on different days to finally figure it out, the second fellow who basically woke us up the second morning doing so and was pretty brusque. Printed instructions would have helped. The stove hood didn't work the entire time we were there our three night stay which was annoying.
