We have stayed in Kemet Boutique Hotel for a week and it was a truly great experience. The staff was amazing, everyone was so kind and helpful, always ready to assist us with any kind of request, at any time. Just to make one of many examples, one evening (quite late in the evening actually), we wanted to have some typical Egyptian desserts on the terrace and they made it happen like it was the simplest thing ever. From our room and the terrace we could see pyramids and it was pure magic. The room was very large and super comfortable, the cleaning service superb and the position as well. We bring wonderful memories with us and we definitely recommend the hotel to anyone who wants to experience a full immersion in real Egyptian daily life. Very large and comfortable room. Nice beds and shower was soothing. Breakfast was delicious with a nice assortment of treats, fruit, breads, meats and cheeses. More than anything the staff is amazing and will always go the extra mile to help you with anything. They are great at arranging and booking all excursions. Oddly the best part of our stay in Cairo was Mahmoud, our easy-going and highly competent driver who chauffeured us through the teeming and frenzied throng of Egyptian traffic where rules seem entirely optional. He was so deft at gliding in and out of lanes and avoiding the panoply of scurrying conveyances that we always felt safe in his hands. You MUST request him if you ever find yourself at these lodgings. We highly recommend the Kemet Boutique Hotel!

We enjoyed our whole time in Cairo but a few notes to first-timers: Giza, and most likely all of Cairo, is quite frenetic, chaotic and loud. Be prepared. That said with our window closed and A/C on it just became white noise and we slept quite well. Also, be sure and specify exactly what YOU want out of any your and they will do their very best to accommodate you. These are not complaints just advisements to anyone coming to Egypt and not used to their culture. Enjoy!!

We had an incredible stay at Kemet, thanks to Shaimaa and the truly exceptional staff! From the moment we arrived, everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming and went out of their way to help us. Throughout our stay, they assisted with a variety of things from shopping, late night food orders and even followed us to return a lost ID card. On top, they upgraded us and arranged late check-out. The rooms were another highlight of our stay. Designed with great attention to detail, each space was both comfortable and stylish. Room 503 was particularly stunning offering a prefect blend of comfort and luxury. Additionally, the balcony provided breathtaking views. Breakfast was served on the wonderful rooftop terrace which offers the BEST view of the pyramids. The food was very delicious with a wide variety of traditional Egyptian dishes and fresh, warm bread. The fresh mango juice was another standout, made from freshly blended mangoes and simply amazing. The hotels location is ideal, with plenty of shops, restaurants and supermarkets nearby. Both the main entrance to the pyramids and the grand Egyptian museum are only a short ride away, making it very convenient for sightseeing. Overall, we had a wonderful stay, and the staff made it even more memorable. Thank you for such a fantastic experience! We hope to be back soon!

The staff were AMAZING! So kind, so friendly, so helpful. Everyone went out of their way to make us welcome, including offering us the choice of two rooms to pick the one we liked best, helping us book train tickets, and communicating well when there was a brief problem with the water pressure. The resident cats added something special too; Tiger and Simba were adorable. Before arriving I was slightly concerned because I had received what appeared to be a phishing email and WhatsApp message claiming to be from the hotel. We considered cancelling the reservation because of this but I am so glad we didn't. The staff explained that they were aware and had taken all the necessary steps to prevent this happening again. I believe it was just bad luck - we live in a digital age and sometimes these things happen. The hotel is being developed so some floors are partially under construction but there is no noise or disruption from this. To get a good view of the pyramids the room does overlook the road which can be a bit noisy but it quietens down overnight. The A/C is great, the beds are comfortable, the views from the balcony in the room (501) were outstanding. We watched the sunset and even saw some of the lightshow and a fireworks display. The breakfast on the roof terrace overlooking the views of the pyramids was exceptional. Delicious Egyptian food and bread - and a lot of it!! When we mentioned how large the portions were we were told it was Egyptian hospitality, and that nothing would go to waste. The mango juice was literally a blended fresh mango which was out-of-this-world delicious and fresh! There are loads of shops, restaurants, supermarkets and even a great patisserie within a short walking distance. A 'tourist trap' perfumery and papyrus shop is 1 minute walk away. The neighbourhood felt safe and secure. The Grand Egyptian Museum is a short Uber drive away. We had an excellent stay, and the staff made the experience extra special. Thank you.

Once the refurbishment is complete, offering evening meals on the roof terrace would be a fantastic addition.

very close to Giza pyramid. friendly, polite, and helpful staff. rooftop breakfast with amazing view. clean and organized room. the owner was waiting for me till 2am to welcome me in person and it was very nice of him. inside of hotel, the owner designed interior and furniture. I really liked the design! so happy that I chose to stay this hotel.

Staff were lovely, went out of their way to help us, even walked a fair distance to help us buy a SIM card. Breakfast on the rooftop had amazing views, with great breakfast and a lovely chef. Great airport pickup, though the driver didn’t speak English it was still fine. Lovely large balcony attached to our room, good size room. Great location, to not be in the busy tourist hassling part of town, however it can be a bit daunting to cross the big roads to find some food, and there aren’t many restaurants in the area that are tourist friendly.

The bed itself was comfortable, but the sheets were quite scratchy. Definitely take the elevator not the stairs, as the lower levels of the building are not part of the hotel and a little disconcerting.

The hotel is really lovely. It’s easy to find it. It is shown on Google Maps. We were met by the owner, who is such a friendly and cool guy. Our rooms were cleaned. There was everything we needed. The view as it is on the photos. Also, there are some greens with the Pyramids view, not old building, which is nice too. It takes about 15 minutes on foot to get to the Pyramids. Moreover, we got a really convenient transfer which fit 5 people. The driver was so calm (trust me, it's a rare thing in the North Africa). Also, there we some snack for free (fruits and crisps). It’s definitely perfect price/quality match🔥 Highly recommended!

Omar and the rest of the staff at Kemet Boutique Hotel were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Omar helped us with booking taxis and tours and making recommendations for hotels in the area. The cats at the reception were super-friendly too. My daughter was really sad to leave Simba the cat behind when we left. We really enjoyed having breakfast on the roof every day right in front of the Great Pyramid.

Everything was good. The only thing is that Cairo is a noisy place, so we could hear traffic and dogs barking in the night and the muezzin in the early morning, but this will be the case pretty much everywhere in Cairo and Giza. Maybe bring ear plugs if you're a light sleeper like me.

Very kind personnel. Very good trasfer to the airport. We had a free late check out that helped us to enjoy our last day at Cairo. Views are impressive.
