Everything here was amazing and worth every penny. We had such a good stay and an amazing safari with a very knowledgable guide. Hasindu was super helpful. We would definitely love to return.

Only comment would be that there were loud children in the pool and the screaming was a bit annoying.

The service and the theme of the hotel and the attention to detail of the managers and staff is amazing.

The rooms are not far apart enough...noisy neighbors will disturb your sleep and the serenity of the place

Everything! Wild Coast Tented Lodge is truly magnificent!!! We were happy that the architecture was specifically designed to have minimal impact on the environment, whilst still offering ultimate luxury and comfort. Our accommodation was outstanding, every aspect and requirement has been considered and the interior design was so impressive! Every single staff member is beyond courteous and helpful!! Our safari was unforgettable! A special thank you to our driver, Suranga and ranger, Kasun who provided 40 minutes of exclusive viewing of a gorgeous female leopard!!! The restaurant experience is superb, the local chef has the most amazing skills! Every meal was delicious and beautifully presented! Our waitress, Viraji was delightful and our spa treatments were fabulous!! Our host, Sashika was so helpful and attentive, ensuring that we had everything we needed to maximise our experience! Our expectations have been well exceeded and we cannot wait to return to this magical place! Thank you ❤️

I had the most incredible experience during my recent leisure stay at Wild Coast Tented Lodge. From the moment we arrived, everything was just perfect — the setting, the service, the food, and the activities all exceeded our expectations. The lodge itself is stunning, blending beautifully into the natural surroundings. The tents are luxurious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed to make you feel close to nature without sacrificing any comfort. The food was absolutely delicious — every meal felt like a fine dining experience, with fresh ingredients and rich flavors that reflected the local culture. The activities were equally impressive; we had so much fun exploring the area, and everything was so well organized. A special shoutout to Rohan, who truly made our stay extra special. He was incredibly nice, attentive, and genuinely helpful throughout our time there. Whether it was helping us plan our day, answering our endless questions, or just checking in to make sure we were comfortable, his kindness and professionalism stood out. I can’t recommend Wild Coast Tented Lodge enough — it’s the perfect escape for anyone looking to relax, connect with nature, and enjoy world-class hospitality.

From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. Every team member remembered my food allergies across all three meals, ensuring I could dine worry-free. Their attention to detail and genuine care made all the difference. Beyond that, they even provided fresh aloe vera for our sunburns a small but incredibly thoughtful gesture that speaks volumes about their level of service. The entire experience was luxurious, personalized, and truly exceptional. If you’re looking for a place that combines stunning nature with five-star hospitality, this is it!

Honestly, there was nothing we didn’t like. Everything was truly exceptional from the room and amenities to the outstanding service. I’d especially like to thank Binali, who went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable.

This is a very special place right in the heart of Yala. It is a 5 minute drive from the national park entrance! We saw lots of wildlife while here for only 1 night! Snakes, deer, birds, iguanas. And then even more on the safari which is included - elephants, monkeys, mongoose, leopard. They had a special surprise for us for our honeymoon - a romantic dinner on the beach! Everything I can think of was 10/10 - the staff, the pool, the bar, drinks and food, the room, access to the beach, uniqueness of the decor. Just the best place I have ever stayed in.

Stunning setting surrounded by trees and wildlife with each pod completely private. We had a family pod with smaller one along a wooden pathway round the corner all on our own private plot - the smaller pod was more than adequate for my two children in their early twenties with a fantastic outdoor shower. All beautifully presented with gorgeous dark wood furniture. The facilities were wonderful, fantastic food, staff so helpful (especially when my mother-in-law injured her leg, they could not have been more attentive and helpful). The safaris were excellent with friendly knowledgeable guides and a lovely stop for a snack and a drink whilst out. Evening drinks overlooking the sea at sunset was very special and being a smaller hotel it never felt crowded with guests. Your assigned staff member makes it so easy to ask questions or organise new things. Wish we could have stayed longer at this idyllic place.

Staying at Wild Coast Tented Lodge was truly a lifetime experience. The rooms and facilities are absolutely out of this world — they manage to perfectly blend raw jungle nature with high-end luxury. From the moment we arrived, we felt like we were part of something truly special. The location is incredible — you’re literally in the jungle, surrounded by wildlife, with the sound of nature all around you. Our tented cocoon was stunning: beautifully designed, spacious, and incredibly comfortable, with attention to every little detail. What made the experience even more unforgettable was the amazing staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to accommodate any need. You can tell they genuinely care about making your stay perfect. This isn’t just a hotel stay — it’s an adventure, a retreat, and a 5-star escape all in one. I can’t recommend it enough!

An incredible setting within Yala National Park with wildlife around you - literally in the round of the location. The quality of the tented lodge accommodation and the food were both outstanding - the best we experienced in Sri Lanka in both cases - by some margin. The quality of the three safaris we did were excellent, with a great guide and great drivers! Our location meant we could access the park more quickly than many other tours and we seemed to have VIP 'fast track' access through the entry gates, ahead of many, many other safari trucks. The overall customer service was excellent with Sashi attending to our every queston and need via Whatsapp and in person. Thank you Sashi! The food and service in the restaurant were both outstanding and special mention must go to Tilshan who looked after us in the restaurant every day of our stay - he was superb, remembering our preferences after day one.

Very small comment - housekeeping need to ensure they also sweep/(vacuum?) the floorboards of the lodges as we found they hadn't been cleaned so became a little gritty under bare feet, the more time spent on the safaris and then coming back to the room. Bathroom supplies weren't always restocked also, we noticed. Our one, very small polite gripe!

The hotel features a truly unique room design, with every detail carefully crafted to align with the safari-inspired theme, making it a special experience. The staff is absolutely amazing, with Rohan standing out for being exceptionally attentive, though the entire team was always helpful, friendly, and welcoming, consistently greeting guests with warm smiles. The food is absolutely outstanding, with flavors that impress, and the presentation of the dishes is consistently incredible, elevating the dining experience. Having the safari included in the stay is another major highlight, as it eliminates waiting in queues and ensures a well-organized experience, with guides who are very knowledgeable about the safari, adding significant value to the visit.

The lunch menu is quite limited, offering only three main dish options, which falls short of expectations for a hotel of this category. Additionally, the lack of access to the beach limits the experience, particularly for those who would prefer a swim over staying by the pool. Lastly, the loungers could be of better quality, as they are not cushioned and do not match the standards expected from a five-star hotel.
