All the reviews for this hotel gave excellent ratings, and I was curious. I was a bit hesitant because it seemed expensive for a two-star hotel. But honestly, I later understood why it’s so appreciated. The staff is friendly. The breakfast changes daily (and that’s the first time I’ve seen that in a hotel where breakfast is included). The rooms are spacious and clean. Having the balcony facing the beach is great, and the air conditioning worked perfectly without any unpleasant noise.

The only thing I didn’t like was that when I entered, the lobby floor was wet—probably some guests left puddles of water—which gave me a bad first impression. The location is good, but I do think the price is quite high—almost $400 per night.

Excellent breakfast, plenty of choice and beautifully cooked. The best Holiday Inn Express breakfast we have had. The location on the beach is great and the area quiet and safe for walking.

The staff! They were amazing. The staff were plentiful, polite, and extremely friendly. They displayed true Southern hospitality. The cleaning staff went out of their way to provide us fresh towels. The maintenance staff was very attentive to issues during a major storm. The managerial staff was excellent in communicating advisories about the weather. They even brought out board games for us while we were all stuck inside. The breakfast staff were the most friendly we have experienced. We travel 3-4 times a year, and this hotel was probably the perfect 10. If you’re a clean fanatic, this is the place to stay. If you want a peaceful hotel in which you can walk out onto the beach with your breakfast, this is the place.

The Spinway bike rental machine was not working, but it took my money. They are not part of the hotel. I called the number and got no answer. They said they would send a technician out to fix the machine, but never did. I’m still waiting on my refund.

Nothing this hotel is amazing

Location is the best. Every room face to Ocean. View from balcony is wonderful. My room is very clean and nice. Breakfast was very good. Stuffs worked well, every food served properly and quickly. I enjoyed 24 hours free hot coffee and tea at the lobby. All of my family was so relaxed and spent very good holiday in this hotel.

I originaly booked barrier-free room, but my room wasn't. Front stuff of Wednesday night looked a little annoyed when I requested something.

The breakfast was good as if any hotel that does continental type breakfast. I did like it was something for everyone to eat whether pancakes or cereal . The cinnamon rolls were so delicious i believe I had at least three during my stay. It was a good accommodation.

I really didn't like that it stated it was smoke free hotel and as I set on my balcony I could smell the cigarette smoke coming from other rooms... it wouldn't help to report it because you don't know exactly were it's coming from.. I felt short changed in that area especially the amount I had paid for three days.

Breakfast was diverse and everything was delicious! Right outside of the door in the lobby, there is a beach access. They also provided a “borrow bin” for stuff to use on the beach if you didn’t have it. The hotel was quiet and very clean. Hygiene supplies are provided and it’s not just the little travel bottles (shampoo, conditioner, soap, etc). Balcony was nice and the railing system gave me peace of mind for my kids to be out there without me.

Loved breakfast! The biscuits are delicious. They have alternative to just pork sausage, or bacon, they had turkey sausage. Pancakes ready in 2 minutes. Fresh hot coffee all day. Juice, milk and almond milk also provided for breakfast. Also loved that they served breakfast til 10am! Didn’t have to rush in the morning to be able to eat breakfast. Check out is at 11am, so we had enough time to eat breakfast last day and then check out. Very lovely location, right by the sea.

Housekeeping picked up dirty towels, trash bags and refilled toilet paper/tissue paper. Other than that, our beds were not made, counters not cleaned or floors. We did it ourselves , but we’re just used to housekeeping doing at least the beds. We go on vacation to relax and not have to stress about cleaning after a long day out. Other than housekeeping, everything else was exceptional.

The property was exceptional. Very clean and well maintained. They have the best employees.

We didn’t dislike anything but have 2 suggestions. One maybe some music at pool. The other would be a rotation on the delicious cookies. Some people can not have nuts. Other than that, this is our favorite place and will be back.

We like the fact that all rooms face the gulf with a great view. The breakfast was very good each day with a variety of items for anyone.The staff was friendly. I liked the idea that we did not have to have housekeeping we would just request extra towels or wash clothes as needed and place our used ones in a bag outside our door the same with trash. The beach was great. The beds were comfortable and the hotel was quiet during our stay. Nothing bad to report.
